I have two very close friends, neither of which has had a proper romantic relationship.
One of them had a boyfriend for a rather long time, but they were both young and naive and barely got beyond hugging each other. They were pretty cute, lol.
The other friend has really never had a relationship, but has had a fair number of guys that she's liked.
They're both too timid to ever take any sort of action.
The first friend recently confessed to me that she likes a guy at the place all three of us work at. Since then, the second friend and I have been attempting to determine if this guy would be interested in her. We've hung out as a group numerous times, and he has never shown any evidence of favoring one of us over the others.
Theeennn one of his friends at work tells us that he actually likes the second friend.
Blargh!
I think that the second friend might also like him a bit, but she's been holding back out of respect for the first friend.
Now she is in a very awkward position :c

Oh wow. That sound like it has the makings of a tragedy, or a comedy, or a tragecomedy. I hope, considering that you are all not 13 but adults, that whatever happens things go civilly.

I predict things go nowhere, actually.
Friend 2 is only here for the summer, so she's not looking for a relationship. If this guy asks her, she has a solid reason to turn him down without making it personal.
And if this guy isn't interested in friend 1... well then, nothing goes anywhere.
