For after several months of job hunting, neko has finally landed a job! 8D
First job ever AND it ends up to be a pretty sweet deal - a LOT better than I could have ever imagined. I got a job (starting this fall) at the dog grooming place that's a few blocks from where I live 4laugh
I'll be working as a bather/dryer there.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE LIKE OMG THAT SOUNDS SO LAME WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU, let me tell you -
I want to be a dog groomer! I really do blaugh
To get into the business you sort of start at the bottom and work your way up.
Bather is the beginning step 4laugh
I'm super excited because it's a small business (I love working with small businesses just because everything is so much more personal) and it's where we've taken our baby for almost 10 years now if not longer.
Plus I can just walk to work.
The only downer is mum told my grandpa and his only reply was to complain about how I hadn't found a job for the summer yet rolleyes

We get to wear waterproof aprons from what I've been told xD
I don't wear a swimsuit when we hose down my dog - I just have a spare set of clothes at hand. I hate peeling off wet swim suits e.o
Got a call today and I start training next Tuesday~
So excited! C8

ohhh i dunno what kinda job i want.
I'll take any job i can get
uh
let's see..
I know for a fact my first job will be a fast food place.
But i would really love to work in a bakery of some sort gonk
BECAUSE FMVBHDFS i wanna be a pastry chef which takes natural talent, or a s**t ton of studying and hard work..

Besmear - I started looking for jobs in February e.o
It took FOREVER!
I ended up only getting a job because my mum really knows the owner of the place so I got to apply before they even started looking for help elsewhere. The owner really wants to help me get my foot in the door for the business~
FapJack - I was taking whatever I could get xD
I just ended up getting lucky with who ended up decided to take me. Right now it's just REALLY hard to get a first job in my town right now e.o
For the bakery bit, think you could maybe start out in the grocery store bakeries?
Only other thing I can think of to get a bit of a head start into it would be become friends or close with the owner of a local bakery. That's kind of how I got into the grooming thing. We knew the owners of the dog grooming place and they knew I wanted into the business so they sort of took me under their wing.
