Hey everyone, this is more contest then game. Sorry for misleading you.

Objective
Show me your favorite magical transformation sequence from either a cartoon or live action show. Here is the kicker though you also need to explain why you like it. I want to know what specifically appeals to you.

Rules
1.) You can enter up to 3 times.
2.) If you enter more than 1 thing please put it in a separate post.
3.) To qualify a transformation must include some kind of wardrobe change. This means a someone like wonder woman would be fine but a werewolf is not.

Prizes
I'll be giving out 2-3 mystery giftboxes in this quick contest. 1 for my personal favorite entree. 1 for the best written reasoning why someone likes their example... and if more than 5 people enter I'll raffle a giftbox off between all remaining participants that haven't won anything yet. If you have any friends that dig magical girls or super heroes you should talk them into joining in.

Examples
Good classic examples of what I'm talking about is how if you are watching some Sailor Moon or Power Rangers when the good guys need to change outfits the show stops and plays an extravagant sequence

Why I think this is amazing: First and foremost - magical girls who just so happen to have the traits of endangered animals when they transform? How can that not be amazing? The particular reason I prefer the English dub to the Japanese one is because of Zoey's rap - "Mew Mew style, Mew Mew grace, Mew Mew power in your face!"

Character name: Princess Tutu

Why I think this is amazing: I've always wanted to be a ballerina so this shoujo always interested me. The transformation is a little cleaner than normal transformations due to the lack of bright flashy colors. Ahiru changes into Princess Tutu underwater with less effects than normal transformations.

Character name: Satoshi Hiwatari / Krad

Why I think this is amazing: Satoshi is, despite his cold outwards appearance, a very sensitive boy. He struggles with the power locked inside of him, the alter entity known as Krad. I find it amazing because, at times, there is a actual struggle for dominance between the two of them. Satoshi fights hard to keep Krad locked inside of him, insisting that he does not need the others help to accomplish the goals set out for him by his father. Krad is a cold hearted being who plots to take over Satoshi's body and claim it for himself, so he will be free to live his life as he pleases. Seeing Satoshi struggle with the evil being inside of him seems almost as if he is struggling for his own humanity. It makes me sad when he seems to fall victim to Krad's strength of will, and the two converse in his head from time to time. However, Satoshi manages to impose his will on Krad in brief flashes of defiance.

Another thing I love about this transformation is the clear deceptive nature of it. Krad looks like a beautiful golden angel, yet he has the heart of a demon. He is murderous and cold. He does not care about anyone's desires but his own. You can literally see madness in his eyes when he get's worked up. So for a transformation into what should be a divine and benevolent being, he is utterly misrepresenting himself.

Another thing I like about the transformation, is that it is clearly unpleasant for Satoshi. When he transforms it is painful, damages his cloths, and you can see the pain in his face as he fights it every step of the way. That is why at times he seems to have one gold eye and one blue.

Why I think this is amazing: While not exactly a pretty transformation, this particular concept is a bit more of my favorite on a personal level. Ronin Warriors was the very first Anime I had -ever- seen. It introduced me into the whole wonderful world of Anime, magical transformations, and a** kicking feudal style. My particular favorite is Sage. AKA Sage of the Halo. He is the Warrior of Light and his Virtue is that of Grace, or Wisdom depending on if you look into the American version or original Japan. He wields the Nodachai, which completely captivated me with how graceful it seemed. Sage provides the quiet and almost shy element to his group, but is loyal and motivated by a pure heart.

I will always always always smile fondly when I think of Sage and his transformation. He actually had to defeat his own armor in combat before it accepted him as it's wearer. I loved the fact he had to prove he was worthy to his own power before it allowed itself to be taken, rather then just being gifted it by some bloodline or strangely found item.

Saint's reasoning was incredibly shop appropriate. It really sounds like something one of our kids would do. It always seemed weird to me that a lot of transformation type statements sound forced or are very random like in nature. The little ditty actually seems like something a character of that age would come up with.

Personal Favorite: She-ra

A classy and quick transformation. We clearly have similar taste and sense of nostalgia Ala. Though she is technically a magical lady She-ra is not what I would personally define at a magical girl. My secret personal taste in transformations is also fairly quick ones.

Bonus Round: All of them actually

I found it interesting that Akki's reasoning focused on motivation. This was especially nice since I would not have had this information otherwise. This take on explaining why also caught me off guard in a good way. You get a box too.
