★ HISTORY: Alder is one hoopy frood who knows where his towel is.
☆ RANDOM FACTS:
Alder's first pokemon was Zapper, a Joltik he met as a child while adventuring in Chargestone Cave (which he was not meant to do.) Zapper was the rallying point of his first team and a gung-ho battler. She began ailing during Alder's challenge of the E4 and, as such, he never officially completed his challenge.
Alder grew up near Mistralton City before the present airport was built. His mother retired to the Sevii Islands when their house was demolished to make room for one of the new runways.
Alder makes the best cocoa. Really.

Fire Bug was Alder's second pokemon and was found in the Relic Castle while Alder and his mother were on vacation. (Alder was not meant to wander off, much to his mother's consternation.) Unlike Alder's first pokemon, Zapper, Fire Bug was never much interested in battling. Most of his early experience was gained watching rather than participating in battle. He has since become a quite proficient battler, but he is still quite shy.

In a pokeball rather than a dream ball because Alder was a little skeptical about using a ball that randomly appeared in his pocket.

Itsy was a bit of a rescue case.
She was bred from a dream world mother rather than born there, but was an exceptional runt: similar in size to a Joltik.
After Alder found her, she quickly adopted his hair as a nest, and she currently resides there most of the time.
She is not a battler and has no damaging attacks, but is quite adept with spore and scent-based moves.

Belle was a "gift" egg from Caitlin several years ago with the purpose of giving the Unova E4 a way to contact Alder (though Caitlin's psychic connection) when he neglected (accidentally or otherwise) to keep his C-Gear charged.
Belle now serves both that purpose and as healer for Alder's team.
"Uh, Alder, I think your pokeball is ringing."
