LOST SECOND GENERATION

Our story starts not more than sixteen years ago. Long before, in the history of the land, King Kurag ruled the lands of G’reth, having had murdered his predecessors, and their family and close relations, Kurag wasn’t well liked. He was a cruel king, taxing the people to poverty and enslaving those who couldn’t pay.
The lands of G’reth used to be a melting pot of species. One could walk through the capitol’s streets and see a variety of non-human and humans living amongst one another in perfect harmony. Kurag hated any thing non-human, and banned them from G’reth, any non-human caught after the ban was captured and sent to a specialized containment jail. All who opposed were killed. Soon the once busy paths of the capital thinned, and the town became a shadow of it’s former glory.
Now to really understand fully we must jump back another seventeen years. A small island held most of the world’s demons and monsters, even some of the outcasts of human society had deemed “strange” Many feared the ruling demon king, Paha. He was so immensely powerful many thought he was a land-bound god. Though many rumors circulated about Paha, no one ever had a bad word about his ruling. Paha had a problem, however and that was Kurag. Kurag, before he had killed the former king, whom Paha had been friends with, had seduced one of his wives, a demon, on one of the former king’s peaceful visits to the island.
Unfortunately this went unbeknownst for some time until the king was killed and Kurag came to claim the child Paha’s wife had just given birth to a few days prior. Claiming if he didn’t give her over willingly, he would wage a war. Paha gave the child over, not willing to cause a hardship on his own people.
We move forward again to when this child is all grown up. She was raised to believe she was human, but a abnormal human, after all we must remember Kurag’s hate for non-human, this doesn’t exclude his own daughter. The moment some of her demon powers emerged, at the tender age of four, the young princess was locked away. For thirteen years the princess, Kadra, stayed put and Kurag’s secret was hidden.
Sadly over those years Kurag’s hatred for demons grew and he wanted to wage a war with the demon-inhabited island. Yet none of the goading he did to King Paha worked. Finally he came up with a plan to kill his daughter and blame it on the demons of the island. His own people wouldn’t stand for their princess to be murdered and he would get his war.
A servant over heard his plans and slipped a note under her bedroom door to warn the young princess. The girl escaped, setting into play a series of actions that would be the down fall of Kurag.
Still, with the princess missing, Kurag was able to blame the demons for her kidnapping and a war began.
Now back to the former king and his family. Kurag had murder most of them. Nihl, the former king was murdered, his pregnant wife escaped. Grigori, the advisor, friend, and sorcerer was killed, however his wife and young daughter escaped. And Millin, Nihl’s brother and general of the army, was also killed along with his two daughters and wife, while his son escaped.
All of these escapees were a constant worry to the king especially Millin’s son, Attorra. Who, he was sure would come to exact revenge. Attorra grew up in relative safety and decided one day to go out on his own, witch turned out to be much harder then he bargained for. Not more then a week of his adventuring, an he was alone, hungry, an poor. Luckily for the wayward boy he was on Karmea. And Paha took him under his wing as a way of paying respect to the boy’s now-dead father.
Back to the run away princess, who at this point, had run all the way to the island of Karmea. Where the king was already aware of her presence on his island. She wasn’t alone though, because a small water nymph orphaned by the war was glued to her side. Deciding to intervene Paha sent out Attorra to seduce the princess, because Paha, had a plan.
At the same time Kurag had sent out a new bounty huntress to find his missing daughter. As the two were arranging a price a bold monk stormed in, angered by the war, and saying the Holy Mother and Father, the ruling religion, were not happy with his reign. Kurag would have surely had the monk killed had it not been for a more pressing matter.
A rather large dragon was burning down one of his weapon houses. Running out to see what beast would dare to rise against him, he was confronted by the angry war-like dragon, Eversor. Many angry words were shot back and forth between the king and dragon. Though this may have seemed like a random act of violence to any one, Eversor had his orders. Get the bounty huntress, and it appeared the monk as well, back to Paha’s palace.
Some more conversation with the two and soon the trio was air born. Unfortunately the monk had a secret. Well more then just one, but the first came to the surface when his eyes glazed and he fell from Eversor’s back, falling head first into the sea. Afsana, the bounty huntress, was forced to jump off and rescue the monk as he spewed gibberish. It was lucky for the two, they had been close to land and Afsana was able to swim herself and the now passed out monk to shore. Not wanting to wast any time, the monk was loaded up and they finished the flight to the palace. King Paha was waiting their arrival, he had a quest for them, one he hoped would keep them off the track of the princess and Attorra. To stall for time Paha invited the group to dinner.
Much to the displeasure of the King Paha, a young man dressed in one of his general’s uniforms arrived. It became apparent that the young man knew Afsana and he was soon introduced as Patilla D'alaccio, an infamous head of a band of thieves from the mainlands and was not only a friend of the bounty huntress, but they had some long term history together. Patilla’s arrival caused some concern from the other soldiers of the palace and few came into the dinning hall along with one of Paha’s own generals, a fierce lion demon by the name of Leonardo.
Now back to king Kurag in G’reth. A strange hooded figure had been wandering the street. His mission to see the king. He wasn’t the only strange figure walking the capital’s streets, he was dressed in clothes that the world had yet to come up with, brightly colored and adorned with gems and obviously imported fabrics.
Both of these men found their way into Kurag’s throne room, the hooded man was just a few moments early. He was interested in the bounty on the princess, and wanted to be part of the hunt. Kurag agreed to include him. He had a bad feeling about the man, Nexus, and soon discovered why. The man claimed to be death.
This made the well dressed man speak up. He knew if the man was truly who he claimed to be then he wasn’t some one to be messed with. The well-dressed man never introduced himself, but after only a few moments of being there, he realized he wouldn’t get the information he needed from Kurag. He was searching for someone as well, just not the same someone as every one else.
Nexus left and began his search for the princess, while the well dressed man simply disappeared into thin air. Both of the men left Kurag scratching his head in confusion.
The well dressed man reappeared in front of Paha’s palace, causing a small surge of other-worldly power. Though most of the group had retired for the night Paha rushed from his bed, and to the place where the man had appeared. They were old acquaintances, and Paha treated him with more respect than what he would show any one else. As the two began to discuss the missing princess, Afsana followed by the monk emerged from the palace. The well dressed man order Paha to take the monk, the bounty huntress, and the lion demon together to retrieve the princess.
Paha objected revealing he wanted Attorra to seduce the princess, and get her with child so he could become king, with out increasing the war or causing more bloodshed. After all he was the rightful heir being Millin’s surviving son.
Everything stopped as Nexus rode to the gait of the palace on a large undead bird, as undead demon dogs running along side. They had been looking for the princess, but many traps and turn arounds had been placed around her hiding place to keep people from discovering the home. Paha agreed to take the group, including Nexus to the princess’s hiding place in the morning.
We must now drop in on the princess, the water nymph, and Attorra. The little trio was settling in to a small cabin just off of the shore where the woods meet sands. Kadra had just put the little water nymph child to bed, and Attorra wasted no time putting on the charm. He quickly went to work cooking dinner and calming the distressed girl. Little did Attorra know, that though sweet words worked on most women, it only managed to fluster the princess and activate small outbursts of demonic power. This only upset the princess more, bowls rattled in shelves and cups shook off the counter. The charming Attorra ended the little outburst with a quick hug and reassuring words.
In the bedroom where the child had been put to sleep, the water nymph sat up in bed. She could feel Kadra's upset throughout the house. After all she was no ordinary water nymph. Like many players in this game, she had a secret or two.
Dropping back in at Paha’s palace we find most of the group wandering back to the palace to see a large emergency healing. A young ice dragoness, Telmina, had accompanied Eversor out and back to the main lands to destroy some weapon housing centers. Along the way Telmina suffered a life threatening injury and was quickly rushed back to the palace carried in the clawed hands of Eversor. Upon arrival the Palace healer, Abarden a saber toothed tiger demon, waited for their arrival. He was the head healer, and worked quickly drawing a power circle around the dragon and summoning blue fires to burn away the worst of the injuries having had called on the Holy Mother for help. Of witch caused a jump of power.
This power jump was felt all the way to Kadra's hiding place. The young water nymph sat up in her bed, her own protective shields came crashing down leaving her aura out in the open for any one to pick up.
The well dressed man defiantly picked it up and quickly. Excusing himself he disappeared again on to appear in the house before Attorra and Kadra. The young Nadia emerged from the bed room to stare in horror at the man. Who simply ran to her proclaiming love and picking her up to press the little girl to his chest. As the man pulled his heart from his chest and gave it to the young girl it became apparent the two were not normal. Promising his love the now revealed, Teinama, asked the water nymph to return home with him and to reveal her own true form.
With in a blink of an eye a beautiful women was in the arms of Teinama, the water child gone. The two conversiszed a few moments before agreeing the house was not safe for the young princess.
Eversor now reassured Telmina was ok, left once again to take action and attack G'reth's capital and it's harbors. Along the way he called on the help of two friends. One, a lazy water dragon named Adurnafor. He also called on the help of a slutty fire dragon named Infernara together this group caused quite the stirp up in G'reth.
Nadia transported the little group, using a strange power, to Paha's palace. Attorra wondered off quickly to find two of his childhood friends. Afsana, and Patilla. After a few moments he was able to locate Afsana, when the two went off looking for Patilla, he was found stark naked in Paha's daughters' rooms.
Kadra was left wondering into the place alone. Paha soon found the girl and began to take her to her own room for the night. Only to be alerted of Patiall's precesne in his daughters' rooms by the mysterious Nexus. Calling Abarden to bring the girl to her room the angered the Paha ran off to drag the boy out by the hair if he had to.
Nexus was more then happy for the distraction and quickly snatched the princess, and sending Abarden down the hall to crash into a wall with one attack.
Teinama and Nadia were still hanging out to keep an eye on things and were the first to respond to the attack. Stalling Nexus by killing off his ride out, another large undead bird. The others in the palace were slowly becoming aware of the attack and were rushing in one by one to help in the fight. Leonardo showed up with Paha. Desperate to get away with his prize, Nexus summoned three large dead beast.
Two of witch attacked Nadia and Teinama. The other beast went for Leonardo and Paha. As the battle began Nexus slipped off using a portal spell.
Afsana, Attorra, and Patilla were soon there to join the battle.
Nadia who was just about in engage in battle made a quick decision to send the three after Nexus. Zapping them off to a empty part of the palace.
