Thalatte was wandering around the area just outside her herd. She didn't like to venture out of the area often but she was wanting to try and be more brave, more adventurous. Her adopted father, Aether, had told her stories about the wild and about the things out all over the place that she wanted to try and see what she could, close by atleast, she wouldn't travel far away from the herd lands for fear of being hurt and not getting to her family safely or in time to not be hurt herself.
She walked along a little path and watched for anything that might be here to attack her. She would attack back if it wasn't something much bigger then her but she sure hoped that it wouldn't happen. She flicked her tail a bit and walked carefully her blue eyes glowing when shadow fell over them but always alert to something, anything in the forest.

Zayford laid waiting for a horse to come through one of his paths, he had charged up quite a few stones, even tho it would be a lil static shock, that wouldn't hurt, it would just startle. He heard movement, He seen one coming, but one of which he wad never seen before, she had claws instead of hooves in the front. Looking at those he got nervouse.... but he was sure he could get away if he really tried. (doubtful) He got all excited as she neared him.
He then noticed how beautiful she was. He may be little, but he knew when there was a beauty was near. He fluffed up his main by shaking his head, making sure there were no main and tail. He wasn't a gentlemen, but he loved the ladies, he hoped she would stay and chat with him, he needed friends, he was getting very lonely. He knew it was impossible to be with her anyway other then friends or enemies, or so on. But he knew when and how to please the ladies. (happily, not any other way)

Thal smelled something new. something she wasn't familiar with. She frowned and wondered what kind of animal she could be smelling. She frowned and looked around as she walked before one of her clawed feet touched a rock and it shocked her! She reared back away from the offending rock and curled her lips in anger. What was that! She turned and kicked the rocks away with her back feet feeling the shocks there too but they were less noticeable through her hooves then they had been with her clawed foot.
"Demon rocks!" she said as she stomped the ground in anger. "Did someone do that to those rocks! Whos out there! I smell you and i don't know what you are!" she said noticeably angry now at having been scared by some kind of demon rock.

Zayford seen the claws and gulped. He was guessing it must have hurt more then he wanted them too.... She looked beautiful, but scary, would she gut him? This time he didn't laugh at all, as soon as those claws were more visible. He wanted to run and hide, but his pride as a male wouldn't let him, he had to go face her. But he really didn't want to...
He stood up and slowly walked towards the clawed horse. "Um, miss, It was only meant as a little shock, but it must have hurt your claws more. please forgive me, They aren't devil rocks, they are statically charged rocks that I charged, to prank people, but they usually had hoofs, so it wouldn't have hurt as much." He took one of the black rocks and showed her how he charged them, then touched it and got shocked. "See, it was just meant as a joke." He kicked one of the stones away. If you see these black rocks around, be sure to know they may shock you because of my kind." He flapped his wings on his head and tail.

Thal heard something coming towards her and stood ready to attack what ever had made the demon rocks. She frowned when she saw a small soq, usida she thought they were called...but this one was different. It had...wings on his head and butt and horns...and a tail like a kalona! She stood straight and ready to attack as he spoke to her.
Static? Charge? Demon is all she heard and thats what he looked like. "How do i know your not some evil Kalona trick to make me think you didn't mean to be evil but really are? What if you try to attack me when i let my guard down and trust you cause your small?" she said. He had such pretty colors it was a shame she was mad at him and found the little thing evil. "Why do you have wings? Ive never heard of an usida that looked like you before."

Zayford backed up, she was really pissed off at him....
"I'm an Imp, my powers are static electricity...um, I'm not evil, and I promise you i wont do it again...." He then stood his ground, he wasn't going to show fear, if she was going to kill him, then let it be. I am sorry for hurting you, I did not know you had claws instead of hoofs. So yea, it probably hurt more, it was my fault and I'm ready to take the punishment." He gritted his teeth, he just was so awful at making friends, if anyone would just see this was a cry for attention, he was too stupid to understand that shocking = mad.

Thal watched him and saw that he was sorry...and that he had only ment it as a joke. She frowned at her self and looked over the other. "Your not going to do it again? Your going to be good around this area? Cause theres little kids in my herd too. They don't have claws like me but it could really scare one of the kids if they touched it." she said with a frown.
"Im sorry i yelled at you. I didn't mean to sound so angry i just was...worried that something worse was coming then you." she said as she tried to play nice and calm down. "Why are you out here alone anyways?"

"Okay, I will change my spot, don't want to scare the children...." He smiled, I'm out here looking for friends, I look all over for them.....they are hard to find, I mean everyone chases me away. Such a sad and lonely existence I live." He flapped his wings on his head. "What are you, I have never seen such claws before, I was certain you were going to slice me up. I almost ran away like a baby. " He laughed. "Yea, so, um, how are you doing, err, before the incident, ohh, i have to go un static all those stones over there, just in case someone walks up and we are talking." "he touches each stone, making little popping noises. "There!"

Thal watched him. He wanted friends? She wanted friends too. She smiled a little and shook her head. "its not that sad...everyone runs away from me too." she said softly. she looked at her feet when he asked her what she was and how he thought she would claw him up. She shook her head. "I only would if you meant me real harm. Im part Harpy im told. I don't know what my parents look like though." she said with a shrug. "No one spends much time with me either. I remind most of the herd about the skin walkers or the kalona with my claws. We have been attacked before so i help keep it safe but they are also scared of me." she said with a smile. "Oh thank you. We should try to make sure that no kids wander into them thats for sure."

"Well to me, now that I got to know you abit, I think your claws are very pretty and make you look fancy. They obviously aren't looking at you realistically. I mean, you seem to be the opposite of scary, I'm surprised you don't hear that often. Some people can be closed minded. Your mother must have been very beautiful."
He didn't realize he was flirting, he was just trying to show her she isn't strange and scary. But flirting seemed to be a natural thing for him when speaking with females. Well most who aren't uptight annoying ones. He flapped his head wings, a few bugs were flying around, he hated bugs, the flapping got rid of them.
"I think people who judge you on just your looks, they aren't worth the time it would take to actually be friends. That's if they can get their heads outta their asses." He smiled at the pretty mare, he knew nothing would EVER happen, but ladies must be spoiled and treated special, fluffing up their ego when they feel bad is what anyone should do!.

Thal watched him and blushed a little. "Well theres one...my ummm adopted fathers grandson has been really nice to me for some reason. Hes pretty...i don't know why he wants to be nice to me." she said with a smile as she played with the dirt a little. "She probably was. I just wonder what they looked like is all. Maybe i'll meet them at some point." she said softly. She looked at her claws and smiled. "I try to keep them pretty atleast. I love their color. Gold looks good on me i think."
she watched him and smiled. She liked how he was nice to her, she didn't really know what flirting was so she was wondering why he was trying to be so nice to her too. "I like your little wings. Their cute." she said with a smile. "They might judge me fast but their just scared. It might get easier soon but i don't mind. I love the herd, they took me in when i had no one but my father who found me. So i'll give my all for them here even if they don't fully accept me."

"To be honest, I think tons of things look good on you, I have seen plenty of mares, and none quite so, well you move with such grace, and your voice is so calming. I bet That guy has a crush on you. I would bet it, because a, pardon me saying, because such a sexy mare deserves to be noticed and loved. Looks aren't everything, but you are very calming to be around. You have this beautiful pure aura about you. If only I was the same species" He smiled.
"I bet you will become a great mother, and maybe be a natural healer, maybe not as medicines, but as spiritual healing. I was terrified of you, but when we started talking, I felt a warm presence radiating from you. I hope I'm lucky enough to fine me a mare even a quarter pure as you." He kicked at some little rocks. "Don't think I'm trying to flatter you, I don't lie to get females to like me, if they aren't nice but good looking, yes I will flirt. I am a guy after all, but I would never tell her the things I'm saying to you."
He notices a small white flowers growing semi near him... Foals breath he thought it was called, he went over and picked some, then walked back, placing them on her claws. "A pretty flower, called foals breath, perfect for a beautiful mare. Also, thank you for the compliment" He winked at her, he tried hard to stoop flirting, he didn't want to bother her, some mares don't like flirty guys, getting annoyed and tell him off. He had to stop flirting.
