The impossible had occurred.
Yep.
The impossible.
Claire Virus had ran out of food.
~
Before Claire attended Amityville, she had two main friends. They weren't the best, but they were company. Their names were Hannah and Josephine Corks. Twins. The problem with Hannah and Josie were that they influenced every bad quality that Claire had. They used her for her money, and that was all they liked about her; no kindness, no love and saying that Claire was considered a 'friend' to them would be a lie. They were tall, thin and cruel Tsuchigumo demons and they loved to spread rumours about Claire in an attempt (a very elaborate attempt, usually) to con her out of her money.
The reason Claire associated with them was because nobody else 'liked' her. Plus, they knew her weakness: cheesy teenage high-school tv shows. Yes. Claire loved them, and Hannah and Josie's parents were producers of Claire's favourite show.
And so Claire, even now, had a large collection of high-school sitcoms in her room.
It was frightday afternoon and Claire was watching episode 32 of season four with a blank expression. She'd managed to get Hannah and Josie out of her mind a long time ago and once something was out of Claire's mind, it stayed out. After the episode finished, Claire got a case of the munchies. (surprise!) She stood up and let her joints stretch out a bit before waddling to her fridge to get a snack. She sighed and opened the door. There, she saw---
WHAT
Nothing.
Not a single crumb of food. What had happened? Claire didn't even realize that she was running out- it had never happened before. There was always. Always. Always. Food. She took a deep breath and looked in her food cupboard. Nothing. Claire then started to panic. How would she get food? She scanned her dorm room, looking for any sign of it. She looked for a whole minute at least (sloth blood showing right there) and no food was to be found. WAT DO? Surely there had to be food in the fridge. Claire intended to find it. So, she got ready to venture into the land of the food; collecting her trusty bag, boots and a determined expression, she climbed into the fridge.
It was big! Claire really didn't realize how large it was... She knew it was big but there was almost no end to it. After about five minutes of searching to no success, Claire began to grow cold and tired because she was so fit.
"H-How do I get out?" she said to herself, having honestly never been in her fridge before. Claire grew scared and started crawling as fast as she could in a random direction.
Her fridge's shelves suddenly stopped and she could pull herself off the shelf to land on a surface like the bottom of the fridge that went for a long way.
Now she was confused. Where was she? She didn't remember putting any food back here, that's for sure and the panic that was slowly bubbling in her chest had reached boiling point. (actually it'd be good if it was boiling because Claire was cold!) There were sharp, strong-looking icicles on the fridge shelves and Claire was afraid to go near them incase she hurt herself. After minutes of thinking, however, she came to the conclusion that climbing the shelves was the only way she could get out. A single empty fridge box lay on the ground. With a kick it was below the shelves, ready to be used as a step to help Claire climb the shelf with the most distance between it and the one above it; perfect for Claire to crawl through. Slow and steady wasn't working, so she jumped.
Bad move.
Yes, she was on the shelf. No problem! --Scratch that. There was a problem. Claire's stomach lips had just been ripped down the side by the icicle and there was muchly pain going on. MUCHLY PAIN. Claire bent over double and started to scream in pain, as did her stomach. It was not a pretty sight, Claire's fridge, and Claire, using all her strength, made the view slightly worse by dragging herself in the direction that she thought was the door.
So.
She had no food, was seriously injured, and she was lost in her own fridge.
Great.
Claire's thoughts...
Day one of fridge crawling and I'm feeling tired and hungry and my stomach hurts ughhh. Seriously I want to watch episode 33... Like, really.
So technically I've only been in my fridge for an hour but seriously... AN HOUR. That's heaps long and I'm cold.
Okay so there's definately no food in here. I'll have to go shopping I think cause otherwise I'll want to eat my pet follyjox again and I'm seriously, like, starting to enjoy the taste...
I wonder if Riley ever gets stuck in her fridge.
Does Riley have a fridge? What would she have in her fridge? Icky sticks? Oooh never bringing up those in front of her again. Nope. No waaaaay. I wonder if Barth would like icky sticks? Maybe he could eat all of mine and then Riley wouldn't eat them any more. Oh but then Riley would get Malingdorp or whatever his name is to cut Barth up and take them for Riley and I think that'd be quite messy. So maybe not... What if I keep it a secret though? Maybe then the---
OH HEY, I'M OUT!
And so, Claire escaped the fridge with the power of very long thought.
And then she ordered pizza while tending to her stomach.
That'd leave a nasty scar.
