Worlds far away from us have been tuning into the show Dragon's Starlight for decades now. It was Alpha Centuri's greatest creation: put a parallel dimension on the little planet everyone calls Earth, bring in seven players, and let them play the game until one survives. Each different world who tuned in would get to vote someone to lose and be trapped in the dimension forever. And each world gave up a little power to manifest the magical powers the contestants get. Each season, seven humans are sent invitations. The winner gets to live free with their new powers and the losers stay in the dimension forever as a slave to the show.

Rules of the RP:
1. OOC is to be marked in some way. I don't care how. So long as I know it's OOC.
2. Third person for this one please.
3. Post often and with some meat in the post. Try to have posts over 3 sentences if at all possible. And if something's going on to where you can't post, let me know.
4. Post styles are nice and encouraged but you do not need one. Words are always better than pictures.
5. PM me your profile for approval. Once approved, post it in the Profile thread sticky so I can link to it.
Rules of the world:
1. This is a day-by-day game. Each day is a different game.
2. There is no need for sleep. Your characters will not feel fatigue, hunger, or thirst. But your characters will need to eat and drink. Just because they don't feel those doesn't mean they don't need them.
3. There are three ways to lose: viewer vote, player vote, and death.
4. The winner is declared on the seventh day and will receive not only the power they started with, but the powers everyone else wanted as well. S/he will then have the choice to go back to his/her normal life or move to a new planet with people who have powers just like whatever s/he has.

You have received an invitation by some means or another. It says you need to arrive at midnight for a special bonus to your entry...

Eclipse stalked around the main floor. Not a single human had shown up yet. Growling and snapping, she yelled out for an employee. Any of them. She wanted someone to take her anger out on. This was the sixteenth season for the show and not one player had shown up yet. This was not happening to her.

"I need players!" she roared, lashing out with a firey whip. "Were all the invitations sent or do I need to start reaping employees now?" This was beyond her. Never had the humans refused an invitation. "Greedy little bastards. They want what they shouldn't have and I take their souls. That's how this all works!" She reduced a nearby table into kindling.

~I didn't come to die..~ Ariane looked at a building as she looked back at her invitation. She was silent as she came closer to it, her eyes taking in the sight around her. She approached the doors and lifted a soft hand to open the doors and walk in. Her hand stopped right before touching it and she looked at the door knob as if it would burn her if she did touch it. She took a couple steps back, her orange eyes looking around, making sure she was at the right place.

Eclipse stopped her rampage, turning towards the front of the grounds. Someone was outside. Putting away the fire she was just playing with, she made her way up to the top of the door in the gate. "Hello dear girl. Are you an invitee?" she asked, her voice silken honey as she smiled sweetly at the girl with the orange eyes.

~I didn't come to die..~ Ariane looked at the woman before her, her eyes widened only slightly as she just silently raises her invitation to the woman. "I believe I am... Ma'am." she gave a soft bow and looked back up at her. "Am I at the wrong place?" she asked as she had never been here before. Her orange eyes gazing over the woman's appearance. On the invitation it read her name as followed: Ariane Sylvia.

Eclipse smiled brightly. "Yes, my dear. Welcome to Starlight Inn." The door in the gate swung open on its own. "Please come in. The main room is locked for now but you may find your bedroom to relax until more people arrive," she purred. It was getting better now that at least one human showed up. Opening her wings wide, she landed lightly by Ariane to take her invitation.
