My own was quite wonderful. Ours was Wiccan with a touch of Norse, my
husband and I are Celtic Wiccan and our minister is a Viking Norseman. He
began our Hand-fasting with a sacred rune chant. We said our Vows, Were
joined together until there is no love left, in the presence of the earth and the
God and Goddess as the minister wrapped the purple cord around our wrists.
We drank from a horn, and poured the libation into the earth.
How would your hand-fasting be? What traditions would you put into it?

Sounds absolutely gorgeous!
I've only recently started looking at Handfastings, they are (or can be) so intricate I just love the idea. I think if I were to have a Handfasting I would love to have it in the evening at a forest with a lot of candles to connect with the Earths energy a bit more. (I love the vibe of Evening/Dusk!)
Although I wouldnt know which else to include because I love/incorporate so many pagan ideas/religions...
I really like the idea of Henna Wedding Tattoos too, they're really fascinating

That sounds very beautiful. Me and my ex fiancee (Hopefully soon to be boyfriend again) were going to have a handfasting. Although, he is christian, he was more than happy to let me have my Pagan wedding lol. I always wanted to go with a triditional handfasting, including jumping over the broom.
I think they are very beautiful and can be so much fun.
