 Today as another day filled with scouting and a bit of hunting. She had spent the morning with Pirata talking about many things, including the role she would play in the future for her Master. Time was running out for the inhabitants of this land, soon they would fall under her Master's teeth and claws, and she would be beside him as they eliminated all who unworthy of living. The mere thought of that day brought about a smile to her lips. She had been training hard lately, harder than normal to prove herself to him for when the time came. Already she had captured several slaves and brought them into the life of servitude and torment under her Master - including a special gift for her mentor Pirata. Her mentor had seemed very pleased with her new pet and She-Ra knew that the spider mare would never let her out of her clutches.
Venturing a good ways out of her Master's territory She-Ra's eyes scanned the area. Out here everything seemed so green and lush, nothing like the rocky terrain that she called home where the few plants that did live there struggled to find soil to grow in and were often brown and not at all satisfying to eat. Stopping in the middle of a large meadow She-Ra waited to see just what types lived out here. There was no doubt in her mind they were the type she would help vanquish, but there was a large variety of Soquili out there, and only time would tell her exactly which ones lived in this very spot - for now.

 After having spent several days of tough training with Ironforge back at the herd Kaleidoscope had been sent out to see if he could offer his services to Soquili around the area. This would be one of his first tests of his new Knight skills. He had been out this way before and had met several Soquili along the way, however none had been in any danger and they had merely stood about having a nice conversation before heading their separate ways again. Today he did not know if that would be the same or not, as one could never tell when evil would rear it's ugly head. Even so he kept alert at all times, looking and listening for any signs of trouble or anyone in distress. Walking through the forest Kaleidoscope came across a large pond. It's waters look clean and clear and the rainbow stallion knew he had best stop to drink for today was going to be quite hot. Lowering his head Kale began to drink deeply, the water refreshing him, all the while his ears swiveled about listening to everything around him.

It hadn't taken long.... His uncle didn't have the watchful eyes of his mother, and as such... Sampson was free... he would head down to the meadow and play a bit. Maybe he would meet someone interesting. Sampson kicked his gait up to a full fledged gallop as he ran straight out of the trees and into the meadow.
Stopping abruptly he reared and did a small turn watching the blue sky. He hated living in the forest where you couldn't see the sky. Sampson snorted and landed back on his hooves and looked around seeing a stunningly golden mare. He averted his eyes, His mom had taught him some manners...
Snorting once more he glanced up and smiled, nodding in welcome.

She-Ra's eyes watched as the colt came into view. Well, he wouldn't be much of a challenge but he would do for now. She remained still as he reared and then looked towards her. One thing she knew was that her looks were an asset, no one every thought her to be evil because she looked too nice for that, a thought that was both disturbing and welcome. It made capturing horses so much easier when they were quick to trust the pretty little mare who had lost her way. If she really wanted to, she could give one strong kick and end it immediately, but where was the fun in that. It would be far more satisfying to toy with the colt at first, make him think she was nice and then turn on him instantly.
Setting her eyes on him once more after she glanced around to see no one else about She-Ra smiled at the colt. "Well hello there. What are you doing out here all alone?" He had likely wandered off from his parents like every foal did at some point in their life, looking to explore and had an adventure without an adult telling them what they could and couldn't do.

Having gotten his fill of water Kaleidoscope continued on his journey. These lands were fairly familiar too him and he may pay a few friends a visit should there not be anything else for him to do. However he would not let his social way distract him from the real purpose he was out here for. Reaching a break in the trees Kale stepped out into a large meadow, blinking his eyes a few times against the sun. After they adjusted to the light he looked about. All he could see was a mare speaking with a foal. Well nothing to worry about there, they both seemed to be in fine health and he could see the mare was smiling at the foal. So he turned and began to walk along the tree line, enjoying the warmth of the sun on his hide. Lowering his head Kale scooped up a mouth full of grass and chewed on it thoughtfully as he continued to walk. Looks like it will be another quiet day after all, he thought to himself.

Sampson looked around. Could he confide all his secrets to this mare. She seemed nice enough. "Im gonna have an adventure...But... shhh... you can't tell anyone..." He flicked his tail in determination. "My uncle was watching me... and well... he doesn't know im here" He had whispered the last part. "So do you want to come on my adventure with me?" He smiled and reared playfully... "Lets go this way!!!" He turned and trotted the way Kaleidoscope went.

So the colt had managed to sneak away from the apparently not so watchful eye of his family. All the more easy to pluck him up and take him to her Master, or should he cause too much of a commotion then she would kill the little bugger and get it all over with. "Ah so you're an adventurer are you?" She said with a bit of a smile. This was perfect, too perfect, how easy would it be to lead the colt even further away where his cries for held would fall on deaf ears. As he began to trot off She-Ra spotted a large rainbow stallion in the distance. Well he could cause problems, however she also knew not all stallions were fighters, some were far too soft to fight, especially against a mare. Either way it would be best to avoid getting too close to him. "No wait." She called out to the colt and then trotted after him, stepping in front of his path to stop him.
"You must be careful around strange stallions, they are not all nice you know." Same went for mares technically but that was a minor detail at this point. "Say, would you like to see some tadpoles? I saw some in a pond not too far from here. They are really something to see." Giving him a gentle nudge with her nose She-Ra encouraged him to go the other way. "Come on, I'll show them to you, they're this way."

As he walked Kaleidoscopes eyes occasionally glanced towards the mare and foal. He saw the colt start to run this way, as if to explore and then the mare stopped him. He brought his hooves to a stop and watched them for a moment but it seemed the mare was likely just trying to protect him. Every foal out there had to learn the lesson that not all strangers were nice and after a moment he determined that all was once again well and so the rainbow stallion continued on his way. He would have perhaps liked to stop and talk with the pair but there may be time for that later. For now he still had a mission to succeed in, should he come across any who needed help, even if it was something as simple as helping them with directions, finding a stream to drink at or just a friendly bit of chatter.

Sampson stopped on a dime. He reared as she stepped in front of him. "But i want to go this way." He shook his head and frowned. "Im gonna explore this way... I don't want to see any stinking tadpoles..."
Flicking his small tail he moved to step around her... "I bet there are some awesome Creepy Crawlies around here somewhere." He flicked his ears. She was hounding him like a babysitter... He snorted indignant. "Im going this way..."

"Wrong choice." She told the colt harshly before moving quickly again placing herself in front of him. He had pushed his luck and now he would pay the price for it. No longer playing nice She-Ra lashed out with her teeth, aiming for his shoulder while sending a kick towards his front legs. The colt would move in the direction she wanted him to go or he would die in this meadow. She did not care about the stallion whom had been wandering at the edge of the meadow, he was far enough away that by the time he realized what was happening the colt would be dead.
Her one ears turned slightly to detect if the stallion was on his way, but at this moment she heard nothing. Of course with how quickly things had turned ugly for the colt the stallion might not have even had a chance to look and see what was happening just yet.

Sampson's head shot and he reared and turned to look at the golden mare. "Excu-" He reared as the mare attacked. "Wait!!! No!!!" He felt her teeth and he felt her sharp hooves. He panicked. His young mind screamed... And then his voice followed suit.
"Help! Someone Help! I want my Mommy!!!!!!"
Sam's eyes rolled and then his mind raced to the stallion..."RAINBOW STALLION!!!! HELP ME!" He squirmed in the mare's grasp... "Let go... please let go..."

Everything had seemed like it was going to be a quiet day. He was partially grateful for that, too much action and he wouldn't know where to turn or go next. Some days others just didn't need help and it looked like today was going to be one of those days. Turning Kaleidoscope headed towards the trees, ready to check on a different area to see if his services were needed.
Help! Someone help!
The cry made his head snap up and he spun around quickly. His eyes settled upon the scene of the colt now being attacked by the mare. What the hell was going on? Everything had looked so peaceful between them but obviously it was that old adage and lesson that Ironforge had taught him, looks can be deceiving. Letting out a whinny to let the colt know he was coming Kale charged across the clearing hoping he could get there in time. He took a moment to muster the courage to attack the female, evil or not, he had a hard time telling himself to hurt this female. But once his resolve was there Kale was ready to fight.
As he got closer he saw the mare had a whole of the colt and was trying to drag him off. "Let him go!" His voice boomed and then because he didn't want to injury the colt he changed his plan at the last minute, instead of attacking the mare he kept running, plowing into her hoping that would free her grip on the colt. He stumbled but was able to maintain his hooves underneath him, ready for whatever the mare had to throw at him.

"You stupid little beast." She-Ra growled as the colt called out for help. She should have just landed a solid kick to his head and ended it right there. But no, she wanted to bring this colt back to her Master and watch him destroy the life. Sinking her teeth deeper into his flesh She-Ra began pushing her weight against the colt, forcing him to walk towards the far side of the meadow. If they could reach the trees then she would have the cover she needed and would likely find something to clamp the colts mouth shut as well. Foals...they were such irritating little things. The fact that Pirata had gone off and had some as well still irked She-Ra quite a bit. What use were a bunch of foals to Master's grand plan?
Hearing the call of the stallion She-Ra felt her anger swell. Stupid colt, why couldn't he have kept his mouth shut. Perhaps she could bring two prizes back to her Master. Still she wanted to get to the trees no matter what, so she continued to force the colt along. That was until a very solid and fast moving body collided with hers. Her grip on the colt loosened and She-Ra went tumbling to the ground. But she was quick to recover and got to her feet spinning around to face the rainbow stallion. Blood covered the end of her nose, blood from the colt. "Fool. I shall take you as well."
Instantly she was on the attack, rearing up She-Ra kicked out with her front legs towards the stallion and as she came down her teeth were aimed for his neck. She wasn't sure yet if he would be a push over or not, but she knew how to fight and could hold her own against any who stood in her way.
