Serandite was sitting on top of a railing, her hand in a salutation gesture over her forehead, as if trying to focus on something in the distance. Tonight wasn't an especially eventful night, she concluded, wondering mindlessly if she should head towards the rift. But Serandite was binded by curfew unlike several other members of the negaverse-- At the very least, she had to be in bed by morning. The usual breakfast time.
Even if she made it there, she wasn't sure she'd have the energy to teleport back home. Silently, she thought to herself, tomorrow was free. Tomorrow, she'd spend the day there, she promised. Of course, the general was a little apprehensive but who wasn't? So there she sat, on the railing, having a moment to herself. Rarely did higher members have a moment to themselves, it never lasted long, with the interruption of another or a jerking teleportation into the negaverse .. Well, Serandite preferred to term the negaverse as a organization more social than most.
Reports. Meetings. Battles. More reports. Repeat.

Alkaid followed the energy signature of what she assumed could only be a General, with her own trailing behind her and making any number of complaints while it was just the two of them. She could only hope that it was one of the ones she was looking for, or this was going to be a lot of useless walking and Hematite would never let her hear the end of dragging him across the city.
As she stopped at the base of the building she had to assume the General was hanging out on, she cupped her hand above her brow and looked up to the very top. There, on something she couldn't see, was a splash of pink whipping in the wind.
Serandite.
"Come on," was the only warning she offered her companion before she popped out of existence and reappeared behind the friendly General on top of the building. Teleporting was still a taxing way of travel for her, but she wasn't going to walk all the way up the building's stairs and it was easier to get Hematite there if she gave him no other choice but to follow.
"Evening, General Serandite." She smiled at the back of her friend where she was balancing on the top of the railings and even went so far as to offer her a very slight bow until the young girl turned around. She knew Sera didn't care much for the formalities between them, but it was just Alkaid's nature, even if she diluted the need among friends.

"Really?" Hematite groaned at the empty space that had previously contained Alkaid. He leered up at the spot on top of the building for a moment, debating whether he should stubbornly stay put on the ground. It'd show her if it turned out she had the wrong guy again. But none of the other generals wore pink, and he could see pink. Damn it. This was stupid.
Concentrating for a moment, he made the same teleporting leap up to the rooftop. The wind immediately latched onto his cape and began dragging it behind him. He used his sword as a makeshift staff, lazily supporting himself with it as he towered behind the corrupt senshi.
Hematite acknowledged the other general with some kind of mumbled, jumbled together word that kind of sounded like her mineral name. Anyone he didn't have to feign respect for now, he didn't bother with - being a general now, that was everyone in the Negaverse save a handful. Serandite would certainly gather as much from his expression.

Serandite noticed something glowing within her kimono sleeve, concluding that the only thing there at the moment was her communicator crystal. It was glowing brighter than an eternal or a general, indicating that there were more than two powered characters in the vicinity. But the familiar surge of negaverse energy below, resonating, indicated that there was no danger.
Probably. Unless it was General Queen Tanzanite. Serandite was sure that was a danger category in there somewhere.
She wondered what their business was in the vicinity-- Serandite had never guessed it would be herself. The two that appeared were unexpected, the combination surprising Serandite visibly. With an agility that betrayed her looks, Serandite leapt over the railing to seat herself on the other side.
"Sailor Alkaid!"
She seemed pleased about Alkaid's presence-- after all, the corrupt senshi had never sought Serandite's presence specifically before. What news did she bring? Did she want to go on an energy party with Serandite? Just as the General opened her mouth to speak, somebody else "popped" into the vicinity.her happiness was dampened significant when the negaverse's most recent addition to the Generals came following afterwards. For a moment, her expression became reluctant and withdrawn as his was, both generals mirroring mutual disrespect for each other.
Even if Serandite had been a senior General for longer, it was an undisputed fact that Hematite was probably suited to be more of a General than she, considering his recent behavior during the rift incident. Well, in general, his personality was better suited. But excluding that, she had to be the better person, Serandite told herself firmly. With an extraordinary amount of effort, the General pasted a smile on her face, giving the pair a wave. "General Hematite. Sailor Alkaid. What brings you here?" Her voice was cheerful and conversational, although there seemed to be something in the way she pronounced Hematite's name. An emphasized clarity, juxtaposing his mumbled manner.

It didn't take a psychic to see the falter in Serandite's emotions. Pleasure to see her, but not so much to see the General that popped up behind her. Alkaid spared a moment to turn her head and look back at Hematite, raising a brow at his I-don't-give-a-s**t attitude and pursing her lips at him in something akin to disappointment. He wasn't being very helpful in the moment to what she needed him for, but at least Serandite was someone she had faith she could recruit by her own merit.
"Sorry to intrude on you," she let her face form a smile as she turned back to look at the bright haired General. She took a few steps forward and away from Hematite, so she could talk to Serandite in a comfortable distance instead of straining herself to speak across the entire building.
"I, mm, we have a proposal of sorts to talk to you about if you have the time to discuss it with us." Her eyes glanced between Sera and the approaching sunrise, wondering if the younger girl had to be somewhere before the sun was up entirely. Just because she had never dealt with curfews didn't mean she was unaware of them - a lot of the Negaversers weren't as fortunate as Alkaid or Hematite.
