It's okay Tahki, Amrita was getting touchy-feeling enough for you, too! The little Vetala hugged the Gryphoness the moment she heard 'I missed you too!'. Heeeee, hugs. Apparently her friends had more of an influence over her than she imagined; she definitely would not have hugged Tahki had this been months earlier! As it were the hug was brief anyway, and Amrita stepped back to look up at her friend, the question making her look almost troubled.

"Uhhh...I...I actually don't know..." She admitted, looking more worried about it than sheepish. Her head tilted one way and then the other, but as nothing came to mind, she shoved all the bad thoughts aside and grinned up at her pretty white buddy. "Guess I came here to see you!" It was decided, she came to see Tahki, and was blissfully unaware of the pink haired demon that was no doubt on his way to - or perhaps already at - her dorm room.

"Would you like to go for a walk with me? We could...do something!" Whatever it was, she had no idea. Still, her single gray eye was turned hopefully wide up at Tahki. Please please please!

Do something? Tahki chewed her lip and looked back at the monster dorms and then back at Amrita.

"Doing something? Uhh SURE!" She really needed to get out more. Spending all her time in her dorm was starting to take a toll on her and the gryphon knew it. She was falling behind in catching up with friends, making friends and getting stuff done. So she agreed to go do something with Amrita.

"What is it that you want to go do?" It was a reasonable question, Tahki thought. She sure as hell didn't know what she wanted to go do. Tahki kept the phone call with Charlie to her self thinking maybe Amrita had already dealt with that. There was no mention of trouble and Tahki honestly didn't want to really go and find a Charlie waiting for Amrita. It may have been not the best thing to do but Tahki wanted to spend time with her friend.

It wasn't only reasonable, it was a good question.

Once more Amrita screwed up her face, trying to think of something the both of them could do. It was difficult being creative when the brain you used as a motor for your own thoughts was rotten. She once more looked this way and that; there were garbage cans over there, which somehow reminded her of the drums in the battle of the bands...and then a thought donned on her. The Battle of the Bands! It was a topic she still loved, but she wasn't sure if Tahki did. Still...they could talk about it! They could go to the maul and to music stores and maybe she could use the seeds she had been saving to get her very own guitar!

"HOW ABOUT EYE SCREAM?" She cried out instead, despite all that mental wishing for BOTB talk and Guitars. "W-we could go to the maul for it!" Well, close enough.

Tahki had no idea that Amrita wanted to talk about battle of the bands. She hadn't thought about it since last year when she had knocked out the rival team AND her own team which had resulted in Tahki with drawing a bit from socializing. But that was another story and another time.

"The maul for eyescream?" Tahki thought about it for a moment before nodding. There were game stores at the maul and she was dying to get her hands on a copy of the remake of the legend of skull kid. Dying. So the maul sounded pretty much the best idea.

"Alright! Lets go! ... Uhhh if you want to go shopping too we can...." Tahki wanted to go shopping.

"Maul it is!" Amrita cheered, little did she remember that it was where she wanted to go in the first place. "...Eh? O-oh. UM! I was...actually hoping I could...go to the music store...when we get there?" She mention-asked hesitantly, poiting the tips of her index fingers together. While she was admitting to her little selfish whim, she was already turning to move towards the path that would take them to the maul.

"I...I kind of want to look at guitars..." Amrita admitted sheepishly.

Music store? Tahki never had a problem with the music store. Never. After all she usually wore her headphones nearly 24/7. Nearly. Mention of the guitar did get a head tilt from the gryphon though. What did Amrita want with a guitar? Tahki felt like she may have missed something important which made her a little sad. It had been a while since she'd properly hung out with her friend on a one on one basis.

"A guitar huh?" Tahki scratched her head. "Well sure we can go. T-thats no problem at all." Tahki wanted to dig deeper about the guitar but didn't.

"Y-yeah!" Amrita chirped. "I've been wanting to get one since the Battle of the Bands, just...never had the time, I guess." She scratched her skeletal cheek, head tilted down to stare at the ground. "Plus...um...I'm not sure what'll be a good size for, um...later." It would be a shame to buy a small guitar and have it be TOO small for when her new body was ready. IF she could even get into said body. The thought made her realize how tight the borrowed skin felt, and although nothing physically had changed about her aside from scrapes and cuts from DC, she started to scratch at a chewed and roughed up arm. Speaking of new bodies...

"H-hey, Tahki...?" She said hesitantly, as though approaching the subject with extreme caution. "C-can I ask you something...?"

Tahki lifted a brow unsure why Amrita would be concerned with a guitars size. Did undead grow? She wasn't sure. Maybe they did? Tahki had never really grown up around their kind formally. Undead were lower class beings, except for vampires, and as thus her parents never arranged play dates with any undead. Not even vampires.

To be fair though, her parents hadn't ever really let her socialize around ANY ghouls or boils her own age. Tahki had been kept almost as a pretty little pet. There from time to time to show off but not be her own person.

"I.." She bit her lip would it be rude to ask? Tahki was sure Amrita wouldn't mind but she didn't want to ask the question and have the ghoul she considered to be closest with hate her. "A-amrita.. do undead grow? I mean.. Uhhh.... I .. I don't know much about your kind? I ... well.. umm.. yeah... umm." Tahki looked down at her feet and shut her eyes tight out of habit. Tahki really was a lion with no spine.

...Did Undead grow?

"...Uh...I don't...I don't know..." Amrita admitted in defeat, little shoulders slouching and a hand coming up to rub the back of her neck. If her heart was still able to beat, no doubt would it be flailing wildly in her chest. Her kind...her kind...of course Tahki didn't know about her kind, because she'd never really spoken to the Gryphoness about her people! She was a terrible, terrible, horrible person and friend and aklfjghakghafga~

"I...I can, um, 'grow', because...this...isn'tmybody." The last part was said quietly and very, very quickly. She sounded scared, and with every right to be! She was starting to realize that she had been lying to everyone about who and what she was! Terrible, horrible Amrita.

Tahki flailed at Amrita! She had upset her friend!! This wasn't what she had wanted at all!

"Its-its okay. Im .. I shouldn't have said anything really its fine!" Tahki found her voice was rising a bit in a way meant to calm down Amrita AND her self but at the same time it only made her panic a little more. Her heart fluttered in her chest. But then the panic stopped.

"....." Tahki stood there and stared at Amrita. What was that last part? "...... W-what do you mean not your body?" All kinds of questions were raised in Tahkis mind. Mainly the one, was Amrita a shape-shifter.

Amrita had continued walking for a few steps before she realized Tahki had stopped moving. The small ghoul first looked over her shoulder, and then sheepishly turned to face her friend, though her gaze was somewhere on the ground to her right.

"Uhm...w-well...I found it. It's...not mine." She clarified in a very low voice. "Ve...Vetala a-are, um...w-we...ah...possess bodies. DEADSOULLESSONESIPROMISE B-BUT...This...this...isn't what I...Um...l-look like. Really." Reversed hands were twisting a gathered lock of hair, her gaze everywhere but on Tahki. It was super hard to get these words out; there was no Christof to explain it for her, no Riley or Malodore to express it in words she didn't understand.

In truth, Tahki was having a little trouble following what it was that Amrita was trying to say. But it didn't matter if she completely understood or not. Amrita, what ever she looked like, was her friend. Tahki pulled Amrita into a hug, which surprised even the gryphon, and just held her for a very awkward moment before letting go.

"Its... Its alright if you look different or aren't what you are. Its okay. Were still friends okay." She gave Amrita a nod. Still, Tahki wasn't sure WHAT Amrita was or exactly what she was trying to say. None of that mattered though. Tahki just didnt want Amrita to be upset.
