(Sorry about the wait, Satin. XDD )
"I'll be back later tonight, behave!" -Kit had called back to the group of children, a desperate look on his face. He wished them behave, and in a way he believed they would. Afterall, it was one of Halley's friends that was keeping an eye on the lot of them for the evening... And most of them did not need much watching. Despite it, Kit worried. Something had seemed fishy about Halley's proposal for Sere to be the baby sitter. One would imagine a boy his age not wanting a close friend to baby sit him, or even know he had a baby sitter. Then again, Halley was not most other boys. None of his boys were. Not one.
With a heavy sigh Kit had given a wave to the group before turning to head on his way. No car, no bike, not enough cash for a cab. In a way he wondered why he bothered with the 'blind dating'! He hardly had the money to blow on the dates for girls, nor did he have the burning desire to become romantically involved. In fact, he could not care less about romantics. Romance was for petty fools who could not truck it alone, and that was how it was written! A smile crossed his face as the declaration echoed in his mind. He'd take a final date, and then he would hold off for a while. Terrance could find some other man to date some of the various women he met--- Or rather, helped find dates through his so called 'dating agency' online. Some job that man had made for himself! Playing matchmaker. Pah. Silently, Kit stuffed his hands in his pockets and had continued on his way, humming some song out of tune, as he often did. If there was one thing Ieeko Takeru, Kit, could not do to save his life it was hit a proper pitch!-
-Halley had waited at the door until Kit had been out of sight. Without a word he had gone inside to fetch his 'equipment' for his mission! What was he to bring along? A pair of binoculers intended to aid him in seeing incase the distance was too far for him to see without them. The young demon had rushed inside, grabbed the item from his bedroom drawer, and had hurried back out the door, eyes on his crew of siblings, three of which knew nothing of his plan. He saw Kioshi's mouth open as if she wished to say something to him, perhaps ask a question, but no question had been asked. Halley was grateful for that.
His throat was cleared, and turtleneck shirt straightened. Those eyes of his, placid, had focused on each of his siblings. A breath was taken in.- "I'm going out for a little with Sere, don't make a mess."
-His announcment was unheard by Kouji and Lukus, for the two had gone off somewhere within moments after the first syllable had left Halley's mouth. Kouji, like usual, had gone off to do his secret things, whatever they were... And Lukus? Lukus had gone off to pay attention to his new dog. That had left Kioshi and Louis to listen to Halley's words and respond.-
"Why would we make a mess? And I'm old enough to watch everyone." -Kioshi had huffed, eyes floating from Halley to their babysitter, that cursed Sere! A wave was given as if dismissing Halley's comment.- "Have fun, but... Uhm.. B-Be home soon, okay? At least before it gets real dark, before Kit gets here."
-Halley had done nothing. That odd emotion that had been developing within him was growing stronger. That need, that burning desire to do what he knew he should not do. He wanted to do everything he could that night that was... Bad? Perhaps not bad... But against his usual personality. A weak smile had crossed his face. It was fragile, and obviously false.- "Don't worry about it. I'll be here." -He had chimed, lightly brushing a strand of silvery hair away from his face. His attention was turned to Sere as Kioshi moved to go inside.- "Ready to go, Sere?" -The pale boy had asked, eyes narrowing and becoming serious. It was time to begin movement... To stalk Kit.-
-Louis, unlike his other siblings, had not left Halley and Sere alone. He had remained near them, looking at them curiously. His small panda plushie was clutched close to his body, and his panda suit was worn. Never would he take it off again! Not after the pool party incident. He'd felt so... Exposed. He'd felt violated.-

((No worries xD))
She smirked, nodding as she zipped up her coat, the dark red of the fleecy fabric keeping the heat to her body since it was still chilly, too chilly, out once the sun fell. "Ready as ever. Can't help but wonder who the "date" is, though." She chuckled, unable to help that she felt pleased by the idea of following someone, even though she wouldn't term herself as a 'stalker.'
Unbeknownst to her eldest daughter, Niko was waiting outside a semi-romantic chinese restaurant(Hee hee, chinese! <3) on a street corner, the bright lamps illuminating her vivid orangey hair. She fidgeted a little. What am I even doing? I don't know this guy. He's got some kids, and isn't fully human, so it should be alright. But oh puckernuts, I hate being nervous! She fidgeted nervously, tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear and back underneath the kerchief covering her eyes.

"Perfect." -Halley had nodded himself, highly pleased with the answer. The excitment of what it was they were to do simply left him feeling... Tingly. It was new, fresh, just foreign and delightful. At that moment his heart seemed to race faster than it had any other day!
The young demon turned on his heel and started off, barefeet touching the sidewalk as he reached it. Carefully, quietly, he hurried off down the pathway, eyes squinting to view the distant figure of his so called 'father'.-
"Uhm.." -Soft spoken, nearly mute, Louis's voice had come out near inaudiable. The young boy had seemed highly puzzled by Halley's actions. Kit had said not to leave the house when a babysitter was watching them. Why was Halley leaving? The boy's large blue eyes became worried. Without another sound or word he began to move, trotting off down the path, seemingly ignoring Sere as he passed. Hesitantly, he called out,- "Halley!" -But the name was so soft that one may not have been capable of making out the exact name. It had sounded like Hailing rather than Halley.- --
-Down the sidewalk. Kit went along his merry way, tail brushing at the sidewalk in rythum with his sour note. His messy black hair was as unruly as ever, sticking up in every direction. His soft, ice blue slanted eyes were staring straight ahead, focusing on nothing in particular seemingly. One step, two step, over the crack. He repeated the motions as if it were some sort of ritual...
For the evening, the young man had dressed as he often had for simple, casual, events. He'd taken his jacket from his closet and had slipped it on over a random T-shirt, one he had recieved at the Gaian Olympic event long ago. It was raven in color, with white and colored designs splattered onto it. As for his jacket... It was dark blue if one subtracted the fuzz that made up the collar area, for the fuzz was ivory, not blue. For pants, he had simply grabbed a pair of dark slacks, and shoes? His simple dark shoes. All and all, Kit had not overdressed himself. He had figured it would not matter if he wore something wonderous and rich anyway. It would not cover up who he was, what he was, or the type of person he was. Kit was Kit. He was the son of a merwoman and the minor shapeshifting creature known as the nixer. That was how it was! The scales on his cheeks screamed that he had been born of the sea... As for his father's side, there was little evidence. According to the few people who had known his actual parents the man had stayed in the shape of a fox too long and the genetics, or something of that sort, had gotten mixed. Thus, the kitsune traits had been passed down to the offspring! A.k.a; Takeru.
The young man's eyes had seemed to narrow more in distaste as he thought of his heritage. On another look, dressing nicely would not have covered his general attitude either. Kit knew he was not skilled with his manners. His elbows were always on the table, and he had a tendency to sometimes talk with his mouth full... On top of that he also just had a habit of.. Blabbering. You're freaking yourself out. It's just another damn date. Nothing to freak out about. He thought to himself, stuffing his hands into his pockets. Worrying over nothing... That was what he was doing. Worrying over nothing.-

Sere raised an eyebrow as Halley's little brother, what was it, Louis? followed after them. Rolling her eyes as they quickly outpaced him, she glared for a moment before grabbing the boys hand and swinging him onto her back, balancing him between her wings before fidgeting so his weight wasn't on the joints. "If you're gonna follow, might as well stay with us. I'd rather not get blamed for losing one of the brats." She grumbled under her breath.
Niko fidgeted again, wrapping her arms around her torso to conserve heat. She hated winter. So much. She loved the sun; hell, she was half sun elf, it only made sense. She twitched before shuffling over into the door way of the restaurant, still outside but feeling the warmth coming through the door. Her outfit was the usual gypsy sort of style, dark violet skirt that went down, farther then her feet because of her insubstantial height, with a longsleeve white shirt with very long sleeves, slipping down past her fingers, and a simple vest, maroonish in color with black, fleece lined collar and arm holes. Her hair was curling a little, the orange of it standing out brightly agaisnt the gray weather, her light violet blindfold constrating with the hue of her hair. By her standards, she was anything but overdressed; she wore more complicated/fancier stuff then this around the house, though others might have viewed her current attire as being dressed up. Where is heeee...? She asked herself in her head, rolling her head around on her neck a little, bouncing up and down a bit to warm herself up.

-Louis had been startled as his hand covered hand was seized. Those round eyes of his had shot upward to look at Sere in bewilderment and fright. He was not one to enjoy being touched just by anyone. He did not know Sere. Infact, he could not recall seeing her ever in his life. Of course, that was false, for he had seen her, but he simply did not recall the event of it well. Afterall, the child was quite young, roughly three years or so.
Without much thought he clung to the girl as he was swung up on her back. His minor fear of heights had kicked in, resulting in a tight grip around her neck. his eyes had suddenly shut, remaining sealed...- "Nn..." -The noise was made simply out of nervousness. Not a solitary comment was made toward Sere's own, for Louis' nature would not permit it.-
-Halley had not gone far, waiting on the two, but not waiting so long that he would lose sight of the distant figure. He kept his distance, a large one, and hurried along, taking little oppertunity to take cover and take secret paths so that the chance of being seen was slimer... He simply moved along, and kept going, until he noticed Kit stop after at least fifteen minutes of travel.-
---
-Kit had not bothered occupying himself with the scenery of the trip. He'd ignored the houses, ignored the few tress, and ignored the people. All he had done was move himself foward in the same fashion he usualy did. His hands had remained tucked in his pockets, and his eyes had remained fixated on the path... Until he found the restraunt Terrance had told him the date would be at. Unfortunatly, the place was for chinese food, and Kit knew chinese was fairly pricey. Curse his luck, curse his connection with Terrance. A grimace crossed his face as he began to approch the restraunt. It seemed to be occupied, although not flooded with customers, and the fresh smell of fine food was lurking in the air. It was divine, the scent of the food! Aside from the food, not much had caught his attention... Other than a woman resting near the restraunt doorway. She was red headed from what he could see, or perhaps her hair was more orange? Either way, her hair seemed to stick out with the dreary sky and surroundings. His face had softened as he thought. A woman waiting at the door. The possibility of that being her seemed great, and so he decided he'd take a chance. Afterall, he could not be rude and ignore a date he'd agreed to, even if the agreement had not been a willing one. His hands were silently removed from his pockets as he reached the entrance way and paused. The click-clack of his footsteps had suddenly halted, the echo of it dissapering from his ears, which he was thankful for.- "Uhm." -He began, somewhat nervous about asking. If he were wrong in assuming then he figured it did not matter. It would not have been a first. But.. What had been the girl's name? Of all things Terrance had told him he had told him her name, and her name alone. Niko.- "I'm sorry to bother you, Ms. But, I was suppose to meet someone named Niko here. You wouldn't happen to be her, would you?" -His voice was as it always was, although the anxiety in it rang like a car alarm in a silent neighborhood.-
---
-Halley had gone close to the restraunt, ducking into a bush just next to the entrance way to take cover. He had not seen the woman Kit had started talking to for long, only a brief moment, but he had seen her. She hadn't seemed so bad from what he had seen. Then again, one could not make a judgement out of a glance that had lasted a millisecond.
A breath was taken in, the young demon remaining crouched near the edge of the bush, closest to the restraunt entrance. He could barely hear what Kit was saying, although he could see the scene wonderfully. That was an advantage, he supposed. He would have rather seen than heard. Those eyes of his, so determined to observe, had fixated on the two figures. He left Kit's appearence alone and had gone to the woman he had neglected to view before. For some reason.. She looked familiar. He just was no certain who she was. No name could be placed within his mind...-

Sere shifted a little, attempting to loosen the little kids grip around her neck. "Hey, I needa breath, wheat-hair." She said softly, bouncing Louis a little as she trotted to catch up with Halley.
--
She didn't notice the sound of footsteps; there had been alot, as there was an occasional person walking down the sidewalk, so she had started ignoring the sound of footsteps. When someone, a foxish person, asked her name, she jumped a little, the leading edges of the feathers on her wings bristeling a little in her surprise before she relaxed somewhat and smiled. "Uhh, yeah, I'm Niko. You'd be Kit, then?" She held out a hand, the little vines on her left arm sliding about on her arm.
--
Sere creeped up behind Halley, ducking a little into the bushes behind him. She could see Kit fairly clearly; the colors and details were somewhat distorted from the fairly dim lamps lighting the sidewalk. She only saw a flash of orange before Kit stood in front of the woman, with Halley's small frame blocking what else she would have seen of the woman, albeit she did see a small hint of purple between the leaves. "Recognize her, Hal'?" She whispered softly, kneeling down so her face was on level with his, her mouth near his ear so her voice wouldn't carry, though that wasn't very likely.

-So he'd gotten the right girl! A lucky guess! It seemed as if the night would begin rather well. Not once had he found his date within such a short amount of time when he was only provided a name. A sheepish smile crossed his face as he hesitantly took hold of the woman's hand. He gave it a slight shake, not even thinking of retracting it afterwards.- "That'd be me! Feel free to call me Takeru." -Habit. Kit had simply seemed so childish compared to his... Other names. Tatsoya, Takeru, both sounded much more like the name of a grown man than Kit did.- "I, uh..." -He finally realized he had not released the woman's hand. Quick as he had grabbed it, he released it and set his own hand at his side.-
--
-Halley had shifted slightly, leaning foward a tad. His eyes were narrowed, focus intense. He simply could not place a name with the face, although the woman was certainly familiar! He knew she was.- "Yeah, she looks familiar. I just can't think of a name." -He had whispered back.-
-Louis had loosened his grip somewhat on the trip, and even more when they had stopped moving and grown closer to the ground. His eyes had opened somewhat to find that they were located in a covert of somesort; a thicket? At least, it appeared to be a thicket to him. There were so many branches, so many leeves! The young child blinked, seemingly becoming mesmorized by the vegetation...-

She giggled at his obvious enthusiasm. Maybe bad luck in locating people quickly? Smiling brightly, she answered "Ha ha, alright then Takeru, whichever you prefer." She blushed a little, fluffing her wings abit as she realized he still had hold of her hand before he quickly withdrew it. She grinned, the edges of her blindfold-kerchief-thing going up a little with the face muscles moving.
--
Sere nodded, attempting to peer around him, some of the small twigs thwacking into the back of her head. When she finally caught a glimpse of the face as Kit's torso moved out of the way, she almost fell backwards onto Louis. As it was, she simply fell onto her behind, her eyes wide with shock as she started to cough. "You've got to be kidding me..." She breathed out softly, as her shoulders shook in what was apparently silent laughter.

-Louis had nearly screamed as the girl flew back. His arms had released her, and had waved about in the air for a moment. A bit of rustling had been created by his motions, but not enough to possibly draw attention to the bush. All focus on the vegetation was taken away and turned to remaining positioned comfortably on Sere's back. Without much choice, Louis found his throat was emitting soft whimpers of fear. He didn't want to fall!-
-Halley had blinked, head turning to look at the angel curiously.- "What's funny?" -He had inquired with the greatest of curiosity.-
---
-Kit --- Or rather, Takeru --- had straightened himself. Both hands had been removed from his pockets and clapped together. A wide grin, sheepish and nervous, had emerged on his face.- "Either or, either or." -He'd allowed himself to laugh a little. When the laughter had stopped he had given the restraunt entrance a glance before moving to touch the door.- "Well then... Shall we head inside? It's cold as an ice cap out here."

Niko nodded gladly, ungracefully leaning backwards on the door so she sort of rolled/spun in. She visibly relaxed once inside; she smiled, feeling the warmth, much much warmer then outside. "Yes, heat! Goddess I hate cold..." She shivered just thinking about it, before grinning sheepishly back at Kit.
She would have snorted in laughter, but instead attempted to remain quiet, the back of a hand resting on her forehead as she continued laughing softly. "It-It's Niko...! Ha ha ha, my mom!" She let Louis slide down, before laying on her back and laughing. "Wow, never thought she was that desperate..." She said between breaths as she slowly got control of her laughter, rubbing her eyes with her index fingers.

-Sere's mother?!, Halley's mind had shrieked in blant terror and annoyance. Kit was on a date with Sere's mother? It was ridiculous, and he would not allow it! He wouldn't have it! His face had become serious, but it had softened after a while. How ironic. The mother of a close friend, an only friend, was out on a date with his father? The boy scoffed, eyes still wide with startlement.- "Y-Your mother?" -He'd whispered loudly.- "Kit's on a date with your mother?" -He knew the answer, and he already had his mind made up that the date could not possibly work out. He couldn't have it work out! He didn't want it to work out. He liked Sere, but imagining her as a sibling seemed disturbing.-
-Louis had touched the ground and, for a moment, had gone back to being occupied by the leeves of the bush. His covered hands had plucked a few from the branches, and had stuffed them carelessly into his mouth for him to chew. His teeth had gnawed on the leeves before he swallowed them...
The actions had been repeated a few times before the boy in the panda suit had blinked, realizing for the first time that Panda-Pan was not with him. He could not remember having set the plushie down! Where? His heart skipped a beat, his mind began to race as he looked around. The little panda plushie was no where in sight!- "P-P-Panda-Pan?" -He stammered at a louder pitch than usual. Tears had suddenly welled up in his eyes.-
-Halley had ignored Louis's sudden coming tears. He cared for the boy, somewhat, but he was busy! He needed to worry about Kit and Niko for the moment, worry about what they were doing!- "Your mom." -He shook his head to himself, begining to crawl out of the bush.-
-Louis had moved after Halley, grabbing hold of his arm and tugging on it.- "Halley, Halley, Panda-Pan isn't here! He's gone!" -The boy had whined.-
-Halley had shaken his head, tugging his arm away before getting fully out of the bush. He didn't have time to worry about a plushie! He needed to get inside and find a way to stay hidden while observing Kit and Niko's date!- "Go find him then! I'm busy." -His words were cold, heartless, and so unlike the usual Halley. Something was greatly wrong, for Halley was acting so... Odd. His rejection of Louis was an obvious sign to it. Halley, the usual Halley, would have never yanked his arm away in such a crude fashion.- "Come on, we need to get inside and find another hiding place."
---
-Kit's smile had remained. For the first few moments things seemed better than the other dates. No mention of planes, no mention of fish... Then again, his meeting with the female had not been too long. He wasn't so sure about everything. But it did seem to be going smoothly.- "Oh, I have to agree with you! The winter's awful sometimes. It gets so cold. And all the damn snow? Pfft. I'm shoveling a sidewalk for nearly four hours every day!" -He shook his head to himself. Ah, the sweet feel of heat against his cold flesh. Slowly, he slid off his jacket and held it in his arms. It was a warm thing, and his favorite article of clothing.
A look was given to the many tables within the restraunt. Some were filled, others were not. It did not seem as if there would be a long wait, which was good. Kit felt a little hungry. Egg rolls sounded rather nice to him as well.-

((I'm almost dying of laughter right now... xD As it is, my face is honestly hurting from smiling, and my head from banging the desk xd rofl
Awww, I feel so mean to Louis sad sweatdrop xd ))
She chuckled, smiling and shaking her body a little, vaguely similar to a dog drying off. Little flakes of snow dropped off her hair and clothing. "Ha ha, I usually just get one of the kids to do it. They don't mind for the most part; the snow usually winds up on them, instead of off to the side. As long as it isn't on the driveway or front walk, I don't care." She laughed, grinning as an asian waiter came up and led them to a table for two, leaving two menus on the table top.
--
Raising an eyebrow, Sere followed Halley with just a breif backward glance to the tyke, Louis, before shrugging to herself to walk after him. "We can probably just sneak in or something." She said, shrugging as she stood up, stretching her arms up.

-Louis had sniffled, his lower lip engulfing his upper one. The little boy had snivled and shivered, fear coursing through his small body. Halley wasn't going to help him? And their babysitter had seemed to ignore the issue of his lost companion! Like his lip, his eyes trembled with great fear of having lost his best friend forever. Panda-Pan, Panda-Pan! Silently, he wiped his eyes on the fabric of his panda suit and exited the bush. He did not move for a moment, in shock from the loss. He seemed to be going into a panic, a childish panic. Halley wasn't going to help him, Halley wasn't going to help him and Kouji wasn't there to pick up the task! Nor was Kioshi, nor was Lukus... No one, no one! The tears began to spill from his eyes. He wanted his Panda-Pan, and he wanted him at that moment!- "H-Halley..."
-Halley had ignored his name, focusing more on what Sere had said.- "Yeah, that's what I thought. Problem is finding a place to sit or stand where they won't see us. Under the table? No.. They might accidently kick us... I wonder if there are any plants inside, or maybe a big counter near their table..." -He took a few steps foward, moving to poke his head through the door so to see.-
-Louis had frozen, upset with being ignored. He couldn't grasp the concept of Halley not aiding him. The older boy had always helped him before, and if he were not around Kouji would do it. But Kouji wasn't there for him, so Halley had to help him! Halley had to, because it was always Kouji or Halley. Louis' shoulders shook a little as he began to cry.-
---
-Kit's smile had augmented a tad. A hand was brushed through his messy hair after that, adding a bit more to the tangles and strands sticking up in every which-way.- "I'd ask one of mine to take up the task, but then I might seem a little lazy." -He thought something to himself before speaking again.- "I never really have to do it alone, though. My youngest, Louie. Ah, I'll tell you. He'll follow me somedays and just push the snow away to get to the dead grass. He loves plants, then again, he loves pandas, and pandas love plants." -Kit had allowed himself another shy snicker.-

She laughed, grinning. "None of mine do that; they all have their interests, though none of them really happen to be plants. My eldest daughter seems to like roses alot, though, not that she has the patience to grow them." She laughed, grinning and sitting down before peering at the menu. "What're you gonna order?"
--
(Damnit Kit, now you have to go and make me feel bad...! xd ) Sere paused for a moment as she heard a sniffle from behind her, and raising her eyes upwards for patience and out of irritation, she turned around, glaring over her shoulder at the panda kid, Louis. He was crying. Great. Just ******** dandy. She thought. Breathing deeply as she rolled her eyes, and grabbed Halley's collar. "What're we gonna do about Sir Sniffle-fest? We can't go inside with him, Kit and Niko'll definately notice the sniffling."

-Louis had continued to wipe at his eyes as the tears spilt forth. His shoulder shaking had become rougher, violenter. Panda-Pan, Panda-Pan! Those round eyes of his, so full of dependance, so full of weakness, had opened wide for a moment to stare at the two older beings in front of him. He wanted to go back home. If he went back home someone would help him there! Or-Or, Kit! Kit would help him if he saw him! But then again... They were not suppose to be out of the house. Kit had said not to leave the house...
The tears had continued to fall, Louis' sobs becoming somewhat louder.-
"Sir Sniffle-fest?" -Halley had suddenly become irritated, which was rare. He had not blown his top before, not once in his young life. The crudeness that had spontaniously developed within his slender, ghastly form emerged full well as he turned to give the boy in the panda suit a harsh stare. Sir Sniffle-fest was the perfect thing to call him! How could he cry at such a vital moment? Over a panda--- Madam Le'voi. Halley had thought back to his own plushie, the one he loved, the siamese cat with the pink bow... Quietly, he shuffled. Regardless, it was the boy's own fault for having brought the thing outside with him.- "Louis, quit it! What did I tell you? Go find him if you're so concerned." -Halley had spoken against himself. He felt guilty at that moment... Had he lost his plushie he would have wanted help finding it too. But he didn't have the time to search, nor the want. He was busy, and that was how it was.- "Go away."
-Louis had seemed more stunned than before. His eyes had grown wider. One step was taken backwards. Go away? Halley wanted him to go away?-
"If you're going to stay, stop crying!" -Halley had barked, not really noticing how he seemed to be acting. His attention was turned to Sere for a moment, and then to the restraunt door.- Time was ticking away, valuable time.-
-Another step was taken backwards. Louis still crying. Without a word, the boy had ducked back into the bush he had just crawled out of, moving to hide amongst the plants that would not shun him.-
---
"One of my boys is rather fond of roses. Particularly black and white ones." -Kit had given a nod, touching one of the menus with a hand. He brought it to him, thinking it senseless. He knew what he wanted.- "I think I'll just get, as stereotypical as it is, egg rolls, rice and a bit of sweet and sour chicken. Never understood why they called it that. It's not sweet, it's not sour." -He blinked, realizing his comment had been spoken out loud.-
