              CHILDHOOD Born in London to an English witch and Spanish muggle, Juan often traveled back and forth between his home and his father's homeland in Spain to visit family. Most of his childhood was spent with his cousins, either on his mother or father's side. When he was in muggle primary school, he began showing signs of magic. His father denied everything vehemently, they were a religious family, after all. But not all magic was done by the devil, his father would soon learn, and magic was slowly integrated into his home life. (His cousin's on his mother side were thrilled to finally be able to talk about Hogwarts around him.)

              SCHOOL YEARS At school, Angel was sorted into Ravenclaw. He spent as many nights in the library as he did his own common room, learning everything he could. Though he did not earn title as prefect or head boy (probably due to his horrid sense of time and eventual choice to skip boring classes in favor for more exciting experiments,) Angel eventually graduated near the top of his class and set out in to the world to quench his thirst for knowledge.

              POST GRADUATION Angel traveled to gain a better understanding of alchemy. He read every book he could as he began writing on his own short papers and formulas attempting to transcribe ancient texts. It wouldn't be until his unfortunate run in with the Spanish Minister of Magic that he had decidedly committed an unfortunate (and at the time, unknown) act of treason against the Spanish Ministry in his rummage through a highly sacrilegious catacomb which resulted in his immediate exile of the country, and, to make peace with the British and Spanish Minister of Magic, Angel made a formal and humble apology then agreed to fill the position of Hogwarts Alchemist for an allotted time. Truth be told, he came to love his job and kept to the career far longer than anticipated. He was promoted to Ravenclaw Head of House. Years later, he was offered position as the deputy headmaster but turned it down, not only fearing the responsibility and the commitment, but also to the restraints it would place on his own private experiments and the book he's trying to finish.

My dream job was to be a quidditch player, but as it turns out, I wasn't much of a flyer.

I may seem over exaggurative, impatient and a bit sporadic, but I'm always very enthused with my subject, and strive to make it as fun as it is boring, which is actually a hard feat to weigh out, but I'm really nurturing, I don't like to have a student feeling excluded, or lost, so I'll often assign tutors to my students for extra credit to assure their best performance in my class.

My background story is Born in England, Juan had always frequented back and forth between his fathers homeland in Spain, and his mothers home in London, England. As an infant, Juan had always shown signs of magical ability, which was a great surprise to his muggle father. Despite the hardships endured, Juan had graduated at the top of his class and set out in to the world to quench his thirst for knowledge. Through the years, he'd come to earn a respect and love for his profession. And when the day arrived that he could resign, he refused, and decided to keep his post and live his remaining years teaching at Hogwarts. He was eventually risen to Ravenclaw Head of House, and proudly tries to uphold it's traditions.
