It was the day after prom and the ghost was wondering the school's yard trying to learn everything in between classes. Where things were and the general get to know the school that the open house didn't provide.
However, at some point in her exploring the tigress managed to get lost. There was a frown as she stood trying to figure out which way she was going. She could try to trace her steps back to the ghost dorms... but would that do any good? There was a large frown, she'd managed to find the Lunch room fine, the library was easy too. But some how she'd gotten lost in between the club rooms and the gym. So she stood there looking confusing trying to figure out her where-a-bouts. Maybe someone would come to help her soon.

It had been a long busy night, a good night, but a long one. In the end he was glad he had gone to prom with Amphi, and though he was still plotting some sort of revenge on Petro, he might have actually thanked his friend for putting his name in for a blind date. He smiled to himself, a twitch of his tail, he almost wished the night had gone on longer, but it was nice to be out of that suit and back into his normal clothes.
By comparison today was quiet, normal (if any day in this place was ever really normal). He had been to the library, the book he had checked out tucked under his arm, tail flicking lightly as he walked down the hall.
Hmm?
His head turned, gaze falling on a ghoul he didn't know, a new student? She looked a bit confused, or maybe she was lost.
"Are you okay?"

Willow heard the voice and turned around to see a boil, "Oh... hello." She said softly frowning. "I think... actually I'm a bit lost." She chuckled rubbing the back of her head.
As she looked around at the paper she had, "I was looking for the fitness club room, or the Gym. I guess I made a wrong turn." She grinned slightly embarrassed.
"I'm Willow." She added with a smile.

He tilted his head, giving her a thoughtful expression.
"I'm not sure where the fitness club meets, but the gym is back that way, on the other side of the nurse's office."
He indicated the way, pointing down the hall in the opposite direction. He was silent for a moment, thinking of how to best explain how to reach the gym without confusing her further. Maybe it'd be easier if he showed her, or if the school office handed out maps.
"I'm Sheridan."
He offered his hand in greeting.

Willow seemed to ponder the answer but nodded when he said the gym was back the other way. "Oh. I must've missed it, I don't know how I managed that." The ghost's ears fell back a little.
"Nice to meet you Sheridan." She took the offered hand and smiled, "Well I know I was here for the open house." There was a small pause as the girl looked back at her piece of paper, "I might've written it down wrong, when I had gotten home but I wrote down a few numbers. I think the Fitness club was one of these." There were room numbers 105 and 106 on the piece of paper. Worse case scenario was that didn't help either. In which case the ghost would probably just wonder until she found it."

"This place can seem like a maze sometimes."
He had grasped her hand with a brief shake before releasing, his own hand dropping back to his side.
"A pleasure to meet you as well."
Sheridan eyed the paper thoughtfully. He had been to open house as well, though he had kept mostly to himself, not feeling especially social after having had his tail yanked. That didn't mean he hadn't looked around and visited the various booth, but fitness club was not one that had interested him. If there had been a science club, definitely, but fitness? He really wasn't into sports.
"If you have an idea of what room it's in, I might be able to help you find it."

She nodded, "It does seem that way." Glancing around again, "Hopefully once I get use to being here it won't be that hard. I can at least retrace my steps back to the ghost dorms... the rest of it, is a little... weird."
Willow smiled, as he said it was a pleasure to meet her as well, the offer of help was also appreciated. "Oh, thank you so much, it would be a big help if you did. Also, it's either club room 105 or 106..."
She paused giving a slight embarrassed chuckle, "I didn't really write down which was which... I know one of them is swimming and the other is fitness. I just don't know which is which. But they should be close together enough that it won't be hard to figure out." She smiled brightly at that thought hoping the boil agreed.
If it wasn't for Joachim and the others she had met while at the open house she probably wouldn't've been interested in any of the booths. "Fitness had this interesting game at open house, catch the lepus... so I thought maybe it wouldn't hurt to at least try the club out if they allowed for trails."

That wasn't the only thing that was weird around this place. Finding one's way around the school was probably the least of worries.
"Life in general can be a bit...weird around here."
More like batshit insane. But he didn't elaborate further on the matter, instead leaving it to her own interpretation.
His tail twitched, his arms crossed. He was quiet for a moment, thinking on the room numbers, debating the best route to reach them. As to which room was which, he didn't know either, though swim club might have been interesting, providing there were no sharks involved...
"That way would be quickest I think."
He pointed down the hallway in the chosen direction.

Willow paused and nodded, "Yeah.... I got the feeling it might be at the open house. What with that bunny girl Desu... something or other. And the box that turned others in to 'magical girls'." She just gave a slight shrug and nodded.
"Oh," She looked towards where the dragon was pointing, "Good, quick is always good." She smiled as she started walking pausing to look and make sure Sheridan was with her.
"Mind if I ask what you're here to study?" Her ears seemed to perk up in curiously as she asked. With a small smile hoping to make at least a new friend by interesting conversation and learning why they came was now a part of that process.

A click of nails against floor as he turned down the hallway, tail swishing with each step. Quick, maybe he shouldn't have used that word, or at least he hoped she didn't expect the room to be right around the corner after his words.
"According to my parents, I am here to study the use of my FEAR and natural abilities."
Invaluable skills most certainly, a fact that had become all too clear in recent events. But if he had been meant to limit himself to or solely focus on those matters, well his parents would find themselves disappointed. There was far too much to learn, and he was doing his best to take it all in, despite the fact he was convinced all the professors were entirely nuts.

Willow followed behind, her shoes echoing his steps. Pausing when he spoke about his parents and use for Fear and Natural abilities. "Hm... I see, that sounds awful dull just to study those. While it might be handy in some situations, wouldn't you prefer to learn something extra as well?"
Her tail flickered softly, perhaps the use of Fear and Natural abilities were needed, but at the same time there was too much to learn just to be narrowly focused on those thought the tigress as she followed Sheridan. Not really expecting the room to be right around the corner but to be found within the next hour at the least, as it felt like she'd searched a whole day for the room.

Sheridan nodded.
"It is important to study many subjects, the more one knows the better prepare you will be. However I do not believe it was my parents intention for me to focus only on those two subjects, nor has it been my intention."
They had arrived at a fork in the halls, the offered paths left, right, or straight. He paused a moment before taking the left hallway, indicating the path to Willow with a gesture of his hand.
"This way. My main focus will always be science."
In particular physics, as would have been indicated by the book he was carrying.

Willow listened to Sheridan as he spoke, "Ahh, sort of like how I came here wanting to learn about all the creatures possible. However, I'll end up taking as many classes as I can." She nodded.
When they paused at the fork in the halls she stopped to make sure she tried to remember something certain about this so she knew which way to go in the future. Afterwords she hurried to catch back up to Sheridan.
"Science... hmm." There was a pause, "It does seem interesting, I've enjoyed some of the simple stuff as far as projects go." She wasn't a big fan of all the technical stuff that went into science but the stuff you actually got to make was much more interesting.

He paused in his steps, waiting to make sure she was still following before starting down the hall again. He hoped she was remembering the path they took so that she could find her way back next time.
"I have always found physics and the theories of the universe fascinating."
Fascinating, that was an understatement. For Sheridan is was like an unshakeable connection, as if he were connected to the stars and the universe itself. Which, he supposed he was, considering what he was.
A distance down the hall, the dragon paused again. He peered down the hall to the right, then the left before choosing the path to the right. They had reached the 200 hallway, one more hall over and then should reach the 100's and from there it would be a short distance to rooms 105 and 106.
"It shouldn't be much father now."

The tiger ghoul caught back up quickly, listening to the dragon talk. "Hmm, perhaps I should at the very least have a peek into such things at some point." She smiled softly, the world itself fascinated the ghost. While she wanted to learn about the creatures in it, she supposed it would also help to learn the theories of the universe as well. Perhaps they were intertwined?
She paused noticing the two hundred hallway and committing that as Sheridan moved to the right, and Willow tagged behind. "How long have you been coming here?" She asked curiously, obviously she was new but the question of how long wouldn't leave her mind either.
She nodded, thankfully when he said it wasn't that much further. It seemed simple enough, perhaps though she'd eventually make a map of the place with notes of what was were so she wouldn't get lost again. "I do thank you for your help." She added as she keep her pace.
