A simple area constructed for an essential purpose, this giant slab of well-maintained sandstone acts as the arena for the people who wish to train in the art of combat. Several wooden pillars with metal hooks ring the area so that a tarp can be raised over The Sand Pit toThe arena style space seems to be enough for most people. protect it from the elements and give combatants shade. These pillars, however, stand outside of the arena itself and are not accessible by combatants.The arena itself is one enormous, raised, perfectly smooth slab of sandstone. There is nowhere to hide, no obstacles to get in the way. Snaking its way around the perimeter of the raised slab on which participants fight, there is a moat, a reservoir of sorts, which is filled with water to benefit Suiton users. An enormous oil torch stands at each corner of the slab to benefit Katon and Raiton users, lightning merely being a refined type of fire. Doton users are encouraged to use the stone itself as a resource for elemental manipulation. Combatants will enter the arena from opposite sides before the fight begins.
