i would be Elizabeth I

because she was bold and bright and inspiring

and when people were plotting to kill her, she led her nation to great triumph.

and was a good patron of literature too.

I'm too paranoid to be in a situation where I actually knew people wanted me to die.

I'm reading Dorian Grey right now and I kind of think Oscar Wilde had a fun time of it, that is until he got arrested and then died young.

one saw mud,

i hope he did get to see those stars.

when i wish i lived in the olden days, i remember things like this and then am more content with the present
