(This is the sign up phase of this blackjack game! Please post an OOC post saying something like "I'm signing up"! Once you post that, and you are either a) within the 15 minute sign up time limit or b) are one of the first 20 to sign up, please edit in a short rp post having your character come up to the game table!

Sidling up behind one of the poker tables, Nukpana rolled up his sleeves a little further, if just to assure everyone around that he did not have any cards up his sleeves as he readied in his roll as Dealer. Picking up the stack of cards, the skinwalker peered out into the crowd of dancers before flicking his eyes around at those who were merely loitering. Shuffling the deck a few times, he bridged the deck so that the shuffling sound echoed a little to those nearby, lifting his voice a little to call them in.
"Think you can beat Boogie's House? Come try to win some chips from the King of Cards and Dice~"
He must have had that rehearsed or something.

There would be no stopping her from winning this game. Riley would try a million times, if it meant ultimate victory over Blackjack.
She sat rigid on the stool, hands folded in front of her, though she spared a withering glance at the unstaffed poker table.
Cam was gone. Again. Putting it in charge was a terrible idea.

Since Aislin was behind the ScreeJay station once more, Sparrow found himself once more wandering around. He'd left his jacket with the banshee, the sleeves of his white dress shirt pushed up around his elbows, and his hands were linked comfortably against his lower back. As his eyes swept the room, a familiar illithid caught his gaze.
"Good evening, Riley," Sparrow said lightly as he wandered over towards the card table, looking down at it curiously. "I hope your night is going well."
"Also," he added, looking up at the dealer with a smile. "I'm in."

Cracking his knuckles, Jericho wandered back to see if there were any games running. Luckily, it seemed another round of blackjack was about to begin.
"Awesome. Count me in."

"But I don't know how to plaaay~" Amrita whimpered at Charlie. Sure she had gotten adventurous with the Poker game earlier, but he didn't need to know that. She didn't know how to play that game either!

Shuffling the cards, Nuk grinned at the newcomers, dealing out two cards to each player. "Alright boils and ghouls, this is a rather special game. See, you beat the House in this game, you can either take chips as your prize orrrr...."

Well, it seems the seeds were looking a little ODD today. He'd have to fix that later. Making a face at them, the skinwalker shook his head, instead shuffling the deck again.

Riley plucked her cards up in her hands, and her shoulders slumped slightly. This game wasn't working out according to her design. A King and an eight? Calculating the odds in her head only took a brief second - and she knew the odds indicated she should stay.
Hit me.
Logic was for lamers.

Charlie scratched his head. He didn't want to get hit but if the purple one was brave enough then so was he.

A ten and a five? Huh, well. Um. What should she do now? The little Vetala looked to her peers for the answer, of course...and noticed a little trend. Well, since everyone else was doing it....
"...H-hit me?" Like Charlie, she flinched; but she doubted that Nuk would hit her like Christof did.

Jericho raised his eyebrow as he peeked into his cards. Peeking up from them, he stared at the seeds Nuk held out. He hadn't quite seen things like those before but they were shiny. He wanted them.
"Stay."

Nuk cut the deck again, to make sure it was fair, sliding a single card towards those who decided to hit. When he got to Charlie, however, the skinwalker visibly made a half amused, half annoyed face, pausing to fold his arms across his chest before finishing dealing out the cards.
"Oh Imma hit you alright," he grinned, pretending to scowl at Charlie and shaking his fist, winking in Amrita's direction.

Now he was just being obnoxious.
