Remiel lay tucked up against his sister's side, curled against her stomach with his head resting upon her shoulder. He wasn't sleeping, in fact he was wide awake, golden eyes staring out across the river. They had only just recently moved to this new den and everything was exciting and filled with adventure.
The water moves over the rocks, rippling out and creating music as it laps against the sides of the bank. He murmurs softly to his blind sister who lays listening to his words.
It's blue, a cold sort of colour but it's pretty too. He gave a thump of his tail, One day we'll go 'splore it. How does that sound Ky?
His sister smiled, turning her blind face in the direction of his voice and nodding. Sounds good, yes it does. She agreed. Where Rand and Snitch Remmy? She nosed at his fur and inhaled, drawing his scent through flared nostrils. Her white eyes contrasting against the darkness of her fur.
She imagined the water as it was described to her and wished that she could see it outside of her mind.
Probably with mother and father. Rem said, rolling away from her and getting to his paws, making sure to let her know he was still there. I promised I'd keep you safe so I go where you go.

*Slowly walking down the river bank Lunar continued to think. She had wondered far from the snow lands now and was not sure that she would go back. Things were just confusing for her. She lifted her head and took in the scent. More wolves, this was something she was used to now. She would not even tense. Lunar was particular but she was no longer frightened. She stopped a few yards later and slowly bent down, her tongue began to lap the water. Once she finished she started walking on once more, this time with a bit of water dripping from her wet nose.*

Remiel's nostrils flared with sudden excitement his body quivering at the new scent approaching. Ky-Ky. He whispered to his sister, You smell that? He stood up onto all fours as she nodded and wagged his tail cheerfully.
A stranger, a stranger on our lands! He had never met a wolf outside of his own little family and the prospect was definately exciting. Come on Kaya, let's go! He yipped, wagging his tail in front of her face.
And there they went, Remiel in the lead with Kaya following behind, led by her brother by gripping the end of his tail with her teeth. He was her guide wolf, now and forever.
Remmy, we no tell dada? What if it dangerous? There was nervous anxiety in her voice only fueled when she heard her brother's welcoming yips.

Rand was feeling quiet, but by no means was he asleep, like the marbled ball of fur that was beside him. He nudged it lightly with one paw, and it did nothing but snuffle and sink further into sleep. Mother and Father were sleeping too.. perhaps he would play with Kaya, and Remiel. Were they round the other side? The pale wolf pup trotted quietly around the den. It still smelt new, and strange. But there was no sign of his siblings. Rem'l? Kaya? He ventured, ears flicking forward, a faint look of dismay on his face? Where had they gone? Outside?
Standing in the entrance, the pup flicked his tail nervously from side to side. He wasn't really the adventurous type, but he didn't want to stay asleep. Eyes looked out over the damp, tree-studded grass that led down to the riverside, paws newly beating out a path to where it was easiest to drink. Perhaps he could go get a drink, then. And find where they went? He shook his oversized ears vigourously, and then set out at a brisk trot.

*Lunar stopped quickly as she glanced toward the den. She had not seen it nor had she smelt it, for it was downwind of her. She knew wolves were around just not where at. Yet here two wolves were. She noticed the den as well. She knew that meant possibly more wolves around. Older ones. So she started to turn into the forest and walk away from the creek for a while. Just so trouble would not have a chance at happening.*

Remiel quickened his pace, causing his sister to give a squeak of surprise as she tried to follow behind him and stumbled on a jutting rock. The wolf just ahead seemed to be moving away and he felt suddenly determined to catch up. He wanted to meet another wolf.
'urry up Ky-ky! He yipped, he was not yet aware that his other brother had made an appearance. So instead he raised his snout and gave another louder yip.
Wait wolfie! He called, We won't 'urt ya! He hardly even felt it as his blind sister lost grip of his tail and became left behind as he trotted after the green-hued wolf.

*Trying her best to ignore the pup that was coming after her. She did not even look back, as though she were superior. Her tail now moved along with her back legs moving softly one way then the opposite. As though she were some fancy thing. After all, no one knew her here. She could be anyone she wanted.*

Kaya whimpered, sitting back on her haunches as she heard the footsteps of her brother get fainter and further away. She hated it when he got over-excited and left her all alone in the dark. Being blind was terrifying to say the least.
She reclined fully onto the ground, ears pinned down and small body trembling with fright. Remmy. Her voice was merely a whisper and she knew he wouldn't hear it.
Remiel was the hyperactive, brave and adventurous type - that showed in the way he insisted on persuing this other wolf. She looked nothing like their mother and she was definately acting strange. However it was very clear that she was not going to stop for a mere pup.
A tiny, squeaky growl rumbled in his throat as he quickened his pace, little legs growing tired even as he tried to increase in speed. Waaaaiiit! He squeaked in a high-pitched voice. Why you scared of a pup? Perhaps he could talk her into stopping?

*She turned her head to watch the coming pup and then tilted her head quickly turning it back. She though she had smelt at least two wolves but only one was presence. She tried to ignore him, some parents are do not like unknown wolves talking to their litter. For in those dark years of the wolves, the few years that it got rough, only when she was a small pup, the time the herds took a different route to roam, there was a scarce in food, a few loners decided they must live, to do that they broke all the rules. But now in this time a good mothers and fathers still do not like strange wolves to be near dens.*
"Run home little pup."

Rem paused in his step, surprised at what the other said. He had half expected her to continue silently and her voice startled him somewhat. He wagged his tail, maw parting as a pink tongue lolled from the side of his mouth. Why run 'ome? He asks curiously. No one was back at home other than his parents and his other siblings.
It was then that he turned around and noticed Kaya was no longer clinging to his tail.
They're all sleepin' and I'm bored. Why're you 'ere? Lost?

*This little pup was a pester. She tried to stay out of trouble, but she couldn't stay away if troubled followed so she stopped and turned toward the little pup.*
"I'm not running. I'm searching for something."
*Thinking for a second and anticipating his next question.*
"What I'm looking for is none of your business. Why don't you run on home."

Remiel frowned, tail slowing in its friendly wag as he peered at the larger wolf down his snout. Big ears swivvelled forwards towards her, picking up her voice easily and after a moment of silence he opened his maw to reply.
You need 'elp to search? He bounced on the tips of his paws, I can 'elp you! I got a good sniffing nose and I can 'ear lots of neat sounds. He nodded proudly and trotted forwards a little more.
He didn't seem to notice that the wolfess wasn't interested in having the company of a pup.
I can get my sis to help too, she can't see much but she got better 'earing then me. He beamed, tail wagging again.

*Aha. She knew she had smelt another wolf. Lunar stood, even though she had the frame of a female it was still bigger than that of a pup as she stood in front of him*
"Pup, What I am in search for no one can help me find buy me. Besides, you have to stay home and watch your siblings as well as protect your den when your parents are out."
*She tried to explain to him that she didn't want him around, yet he never took the hint. She would not be so cruel as to be blunt though. After all she was a good wolf. She had a kind heart. Though sometimes It led her to do mean things. Not anymore though. She would not be her old self anymore.*

Remiel was dissapointed to say the least. He wanted adventure...not...not what this life had to offer but it didn't seem to matter. He was nothing but a nuisance.
That's another way of sayin' yah don't wan' company right? He gave a small huff, tail curling around his hind leg as he sat down on the frosted ground.
I don't like bein' small. He wrinkled his little nose and snuffled noisily through his nostrils, I 'ave to stay 'ere and keep safe. I 'ave to protect family from dangers. But I see no danger ever and I bored.

*Turning away, she knew what he was trying to do. The little brat was trying to make her feel bad into letting him be with her. So she turned away so she couldn't see his face and fall for it.*
"How are you going to protect them if you are here and they are there? What if danger is there now and you missed it? What If I am danger and you are wanting to be near me? In order to protect the ones you love, in order to have the most adventure you have to have a safe haven. I place of your own to say "Hey this is my Territory, this is my space, if you invade it. I won't show mercy." You have that place now yet you don't stay there. You have a home. That is your fort, your safe haven. Protect it from any and everything. The reason you don't see danger is because they know that's YOUR place and YOUR going to protect it. So don't pout little one."
