Seriously.
As it turns out, I got chlamydia from my current sexual partner.. my boyfriend.. not my last one. We think. Because I didn't have any symptoms until I slept with him.
Anyways, most people don't have symptoms from this STI, and most people don't think it's a big deal cuz it's curable.
Well I'm here to say ******** this infection.
When I was first diagnosed with it, I was also diagnosed with a yeast infection. They sent me on my way with diflucan and 1mg of azithromycin. No biggie. I took it as directed... My partner got 2mg of azithromycin from his doctor, we thought we were fine. Ignored the doctor who told us to wait 2-3 weeks, had sex anyways like 5 days later.
About two weeks later my yeast infection came back. I assumed it meant the chlamydia came back because it has literally been the yeast infection from hell. I can't even wipe when I use the toilet it hurts so bad. I can't sit still. It SUCKS.
SO I go back to my doctor and she re-tests me. Gives me more diflucan and 5 days later calls to tell me I'm still positive for the chlamydia. My partner and I both get treated again. We wait a week. We have sex. Wellllll 5 days ago or so my symptoms came back again. YEAST INFECTION FROM HELL. ********. So it's Friday by now. I call my doctor. Please call me in some more diflucan and some more ******** azithromycin. No they tell me, you need to come back in AGAIN. I'm like ********. I work 6 days a week, I don't have any time in my schedule to come back in AGAIN.
So I get in an argument with the nurse and hang up. This morning I go down to the health department and they test me for chlamydia again and then for a yeast infection. Yeast infection comes back negative. Turns out I have an infection in my cervix that just FEELS like the yeast infection from hell. So they give me more azithromycin for that and tell me if the chlamydia comes back positive, that will have been cured from the antibiotics too. My partner went with me and he got antibiotics ******** dude.
STIs suck so much. No more sex for me until this is GONE.

i urg, couldn't even imagine.
I was dating this guy but he was a total dbag so I broke it off with him and after a month or so he wanted to get back together so we were 'seeing' each other again but we had sex once, and then my friend was like
Yo I heard from my bf that your boy slept with some huge slut while you guys broke up
so I freaked out cause I had this little bump down there and sure enough, yep tested positive for HPV
I was totally distraught even though it wasn't a big deal. I had no symptoms nothing, it was just awful telling the new boyfriend (Who was Roger at the time xD) that I had it and I was all upset and hes like AWH ITS OKAY
but yeah. nothing ever came out of it, absolutely nothing. i forgot i had it 98% of the time.
Went in after 6 months to get re-tested and it was gone like my doctor guessed it would.
:{ but yeah I mean i didnt take any anti-biotics and it never caused me any discomfort but that bites man.
just stick to fooling around for awhile until you're 100% good to go so you don't have to keep going back in.

That sucks. Do yourself a favor, while you are avoiding sex too, and take acidophilus while on that antibiotic so that raging yeast infection doesn't come back. Antibiotics like to prime you for the yeasties. Tell the boyfriend to do the same. Feel better!

i get UTIs really easily if i don't pee right after sex... and the paaaiiiinnn of sitting on the damn toilet forever and ever... i feel you, girl.
i hope it all gets better.

DecoyOctopus why did you think you could ignore a doctor's advice more than once It's really hard when you're an addict and consequences don't mean s**t to you. I have a hard time changing what I'm doing until the pain gets great enough in any area of my life.
