Shiryln Chamberland had finally escaped from her family, it took a lot of convincing and sweet talking. Though it wasn't long before her dad had said she was free to go off on an adventure. As much as she loved her family sometimes she felt she wanted to just see what was out there, and today was one of those days.

As she took one step into the lush forest around her home she began to wonder. "Is anyone out here other than me?" she whispered aloud under her breath. She couldn't help but wonder that since this was the first time she had been out alone. At the same time these thoughts only urged her to take a few more steps on the forests ground.

Part of her kept wishing someone would answer, while the other part of her would rather have been left alone. This forest was so big, yet it seemed so quiet compared to her family life. The life she knew was a little bit crazy from time to time but at the same time she figured all families might be like that.

It was within seconds of taking her last step, that she heard it. The voice of what sounded like another ... person? Upon hearing the voice Shirlyn began to turn around in a complete circle to see who was talking to her. It only took her a few minutes before she thought to glance a little bit upward. That was when she noticed what looked to be another foal.

With a soft smile towards the other she replied, "Your right it probably isn't." Giggling a bit she continued, " ... though its kinda my first time out here. So I'm not really aware of what lurks in here. I just was trying to get away from my family for a bit..."

As she watched him pop down in front of her she smiled while her insides jumped a bit. "There are really?!" she said trying to think what type of things might be out there. her imagination flowing with ideas. "I guess Its probably not smart to explore this forest by myself then huh?" she questioned him kindly as she began to overlook who stood before her.

He looked about her age, but his mane was full of some very unique colors almost like something out of a tale her dad and told her. All and all though he seemed pretty friendly and with that she was beginning to like him already.

As soon as she heard his question she quickly responded, "Well their... er a little crazy to be honest. Sometimes I just feel like I need some time to myself even though I love my family..." she took a pause and thought about what she had said.Only to quickly respond, "Whats your family like? Crazy like mine?"
