So I finally got my copy of Origins back from my friend. (Yaaayy) And I'm starting a new file. I don't have any of the DLC for Origins, but I decided to get it for this play through. I already bought The Stone Prisoner because I know that's in game. Otherwise, which ones are in game and which are post-game? Also, which are simply not worth buying? And what even are the Feastday gifts/pranks?

Definitely get Awakening. awakening, witch hunt, leliana's song, darkspawn chronicles, & golems of amgarrak are all post-game. i think.
stone prisoner, feast day (i have no idea if this dlc's worth it or not, but i doubt it), return to ostagar, & warden's keep are all in-game.
golems of amgarrak is interesting & i recommend it. mostly because of what orsino does at the end of DA2 (don't want to give way spoilers! sweatdrop ) but it's a little bit annoying, and i recommend not eating while playing it. xd
i don't have chronicles, feast day, leliana's song, or witch hunt mostly because i don't have enough interest to shell out the money. xD

I actually didn't like Awakening. They changed the things I liked about Origins; they cut dialog and romances. And the things they kept the same, like the cluttered inventory and quest menus, are the things that actually did need to be fixed. Plus the characters and plot were all pretty awful IMO. Also, I'll die happy if I never see anything related to the Broodmother or her creepy spawn things again. XD
But that's the only expansion I have. So far anyway.
I've heard that Leliana's Song is good and Witch Hunt sucks and that you get Shale in The Stone Prisoner, but that's seriously all I know about the DLC.
