Slowly trailing the somber streets of the town that surrounds the school of Makai Royal Academy. Shea takes in the view, swaying easily past the rush of students from the Academy, seems large groups of them were pouring out into the streets with her she wondered if perhaps classes were done for the day. Smiling lazily the young woman, made a right turn down a less occupied street. Cinnamon filled the air around her, teasing her sense's with the promise of something fresh baked and delicious to bad she had no time to stop for food. Though she was saying that to herself as her feet had stopped in front of a small bakery window, turning she almost pressed her face to the glass but stopped just short to take in all the sweets. Stomach a grumble with hunger she shook her head gently, reddish brown curls springing up then bouncing back down to lazily frame her face.

Koray the Ars Lilium's familiar wondered close by, already drawing tons of unwanted attention to himself, for being as the young witchlings would say 'an adorable kitty'. The familiar snorted in irritation as his charge busied herself with drooling on the window, his tail swatting at offending hands as they reached to pet him. Turning Shea leaned against the stores window, hands trailing up to cover her mouth, muffling a soft sweet laughter as she watches the familiar getting harassed by several witchlings. It was cute but she should probably save the poor cat soon.

A citrus scent filled the air as the young woman practically floated into the crowd to scoop up the familiar. Koray hissed softly in her arms, looking at the disappointed face with a cheerful smile she explained to them that her and the familiar must leave on an adventure now, with a few forced departing pets they started on there way again. Shea after a good distance from the crowd snickered gently and let the cat down with a loving stroke over his fur. "There right you know, you are adorable.." She teased gently before slowly pulling back up to look around. A loud grumble from her stomach had her pale cheeks tinted pink. "..Food?" She asked softly, gaining a nod from Koray. After roaming around and acquiring a filled meat pie, Shea started down towards a quieter street, leading into an almost remote section of the small town. "...Hm?" Slowly moving towards the sound of music the young woman pauses and leans against a nearby building watching a boy play the harp.

She slowly sinks down the wall to listen, taking a few bites of the small pie in her hand and picking a few pieces off for Koray at her side. Listening and watching silently, taking in that he was probably practicing since he didn't seem to skilled but he wasn't a bad player. Shea wrinkled her nose as a string of sour notes were strummed. " Oh my, that's not pleasant . " She commented more to herself, the flow of the harmonious music being interrupted like that worked at her nerves since she liked things to stay in harmony.

User ImageOrpheus stared at the instrument, as if willing it to play for him. He was skilled in nearly every string instrument he touched, but for some reason the harp was eluding him particularly emphatically. He had retreated into the small courtyard to practice in peace, somewhere he wouldn't be heard. Somewhere that he was fairly confident he'd never run into anyone he knew. At least if strangers heard him playing, he'd never have to hear from them again. If it was someone from the academy, he'd be doomed to ridicule. Not that Orpheus really cared; he had a pretty thick skin for that. You had to, when you practiced the ultimate art of slacking off.

He never slacked off in music. For the hundredth time, his fingers missed an important string, and the chord he strummed was painful. He cringed, swore loudly, and then sighed, collapsing back on the stone wall he sat on. It was a low wall, just part of a sort of gazebo-like structure, and the light filtered through the flowering stonework above. It was nice here; he liked it. Except he was getting sick of sitting still, so he packed his harp up in the bag he had acquired for it, one with a cushioned lining. He got to his feet and headed down the steps, running his hand through his hair. Unaware that anyone was listening to him, he barelled down towards the building where the Ars Lilium leaned against a wall, likely heading straight into her.

The Ars woman had been listening, closing her eyes at some point to take in the few sweet notes the boy had hit on the harp. Her nose wrinkling with each sour. Shea was suddenly snapping hers eyes open as her body was hit with something warm and firm, hands going out instant to latch on to the thing in question. Was she being attacked! The brilliant blues of hers eyes locking on the orange one of the male that hit her, latched to his shirt and stumbling back with a squeaked "Ah! .. " Falling she was going to fall !

Koray who had moved before getting wrapped up in the collision was at the side of the wall watching. The fur on the back of his body standing up on end, at the male. Was he a threat or just that unobservant and clumsy? The familiar stood on guard, waiting to see what happened as the two of them smashed together and She took a hold of the mans shirt to try and steady herself.

With one hand, Orpheus sheltered the harp, making sure it was safe. His other hand reached out to hold onto the stranger as he steadied himself. "Hey now, don't fall," he said, as if it was funny she'd lose her balance, even though it was his fault he had barelled into her. Her makeup was mesmerizing. Orpheus found himself staring at it, and then prying his eyes away. Weird. Her eyes were very bright, and her curls were seemingly perfect. He admired the colour in his memory, unwilling to make eye contact again. There was something unsettling about her.

"sorry, sorry," he apologized, as he steadied her and smiled sheepishly. He pushed the harp into its bag and slung it over his shoulder, so that both his hands were free. "Didn't realize there was anyone there." He realized how strange it was that she was there in the first place, and asked, "Wait, why are you here? There's nothing back here for anyone, really."

Orpheus noticed the cat, and figured it was her familiar. "Hey, is that your familiar? Are you an Ars?" and then, looking at the cat, waving, "Hey, kitty!"
