Yue
Yue was surprised he was up this early. The young cheetah was almost never up during the day. He blinked at the bright sun burned his yellow eyes. Why was he awake now? Could it have been that strange cheetah he had met before? Or those strange dreams he had been having the previous nights? He couldn't tell. He stretched and yawned as he climbed down from his rock to see if he could find some food.
Lin
It was her own little secret. For now she wouldn't tell her family just because she wanted to know ALL of him before anyone else did. With as many siblings as she had. It was easy to tell. "Yue~" She called out. Yep- bright and early and already she was moving.. That was not always a common thing for Lin LOVED sleeping as a pass time. Other than herb learning. "Yue~?" She didn't raise her voice, just in case a sibling had followed her.. as she dodged to where she last met him. Going under bushes and forest to him. Coming in to the clearing.. She looked around.. tail flicking about in wonderment.
Yue
Yue heard the familiar voice, and poked his head out from his hunting spot. He looked over and saw the strange girl. What was her name? Lin? He couldn't remember. That sounded right though. He walked over to her "Yes?" He asked in a calm voice.
Lin
She turned her head to his voice and saw his dark pelt. It was a good day to begin with now. She trotted to him and gave him a soft lick on the cheek. "Good morning!" Poking his nose. "I was.. wondering if you wanted to.. umm go hunting with me? Because- Um your hungry? And wanna eat?" Ears bigger than her face flapped open.
Yue
He listened to her questions, and slightly smiled when she licked him. "Sure." He said as he yawned again, "I could use something to eat." He said as he walked with her to try to find some food
Lin
As she took up her step beside him. SHe felt... proud? It was weird.. but she was happy as she padded beside him. "So.. big or small?" She asked.. "Leafy or meaty? Fishy?" Giving them some space between them but not much but a paw away. Occassionally tapping her flank against his as if to play a game.
Yue
"Big." He said, looking down to her with a smile, "And meaty." he hadn't caught onto her game. In fact, he was mostly oblivious about most things that went on in in her world, or in his either.
Lin
Booty bump, a few booty bumps later. "Hmm...can I stuff it with greens too?" Eyes wnet big- she liked eating leafs.. though it probably wasn't healthy for a cheetah but she liked them anyways. Some were even minty fresh feeling! Cause yea know..she was all about the leafy greens. Booty bump laters.. "So a gazelle? Yea know their kind are off at the ring of the forest now. Pappa told us so." She nodded fiercely. "But you know the pink bellys are just as good or so Im told." Which were baby hares.
Yue
He nodded at her question, He wasn't a fan of greens, but it made her happy. Wait... why was he concerned about her happiness? This cheetah was so strange. How did she do this to him? He never cared about anyone. What made her so different? He shook his head to get the thoughts out of his head, "Yeah, gazelle's fine."
Lin
"Cool!" She blurred out and jumped on a log above them and stood there. Watching over and trying to see if she could see the gazelle.. or at least their path. She left out a sigh and then sucked in the air.. Yes. She could smell them but barely. She wasn't a runner- though unlike other normal cheetahs. Her paws couldn't reach the speeds they were suppose to but she was an excellent tracker. Especially for plants. "They are about... a few good strides away." Her tail padding. Then looking down to him. If we can surprise them I think we can catch one alone. Lowering her body now. "What do you think?"
Yue
He watched her climb up on the log, and looked in the direction she was facing. He grinned and lowered himself down, getting ready for the long sprint. "Easy." He said as he closed his eyes and started to listen. There. He heard a step from one of the dumb beasts, and like that, he was off. He darted through the trees, and with a small roar, he caught the small gazelle by the neck. It wasn't a big one, but it was big enough for the two of them.
Lin
Right after her darted.. she jumped down and tried to sprint so no one would know that she wasn't a runner. Not normal. So she ran but was immensely lagged behind and before she got there he had already snagged a gazelle and one almost went after her until she darted and threw herself at it to run it off. And it did.. she fell down and rolled. "OpphFFF" only to fall to where he was and as to lift her face to look at him. "WOW. Thats a big one!" Anything bigger than her was big. Wagging her tail them hopping up in the air.
Yue
He smiled and sat down, panting from his burst of energy. He was glad he was able to catch it. "You going to get your greens?" he asked as he started to pluck the fur off of the animal.
Lin
When she landed she looked in to his eyes as she pretty much landed almost on top of him and leaned under him to look at it and how he started to pluck out the fur and such then looking up at him. "Oh ~! Right right! I'll get right on it! Stay RIGHT here! I'll be right back!" Then turned tail and ran off. In a hurry- she didnt want to make him wait and on top of that. One cheetah wasn't scary but TWO were scary-or so she'd like to think. She dodged like a chef would in a crazy kitchen. Snagging up some leafs that she dug her nose in- and snatched up.
Until her maw was stuffed with all kinds of tastes from the different leafs and ran back to him wagging her tail and almost out of breath. Huffing in and out of her nose. Then slowly she placed them down and chirped at him. "Now I gotta make a hole and stuff it!" Padding her tail. There were bits and pieces of spices that what humans would think valuable but for her it was just another tastey leaf.
