The pure white mare walked around in the peace and quiet, allowing her self to release a sigh that she had un-knowingly held in. Her golden eyes had been scanning the water as she walked by it, always making sure her bow was always attached to her long braided tail that she loved so much.
She had quite some trouble, being a pure white mare. Keeping herself clean, making sure she wasn't smudged with any sort of brown, keeping herself looking clean was quite the troubles. Today, was possibly one of her harder days. Her tip of her tail was slightly brown from dragging on the dirt around her, her mane was slighly a mess, but even worse her bow was becoming dirty. She looked into the water, staring into her own eyes. She hadn't realized how gold her eyes were, or how well her feather matched her bow. She gave herself a smile, she enjoyed how well everything matched.
She kept her eyes on the water, looking at her white mane, her white fur, her white hooves. She smiled wide, she loved her simplicity. Every inch of it, she believed that simplicity was one of the most beautiful things in the world.

The King wandered through his lands on foot, taking a much-needed break from the chaos of the Court life. His feet were dragging, his eyes downcast on the ground beneath him. He ran a slender hand through his mussed hair, fingers brushing against the cool metal of his crown, his green eyes narrowed in thought.
Even when he was out here, away from the strains and pressures of Court, he couldn't relax. Valdien was out on patrol, so of course the King worried about him tremendously. But they were so short-handed [or short-hoofed, as it were], that he had to work Valdien to the bone, which he hated himself for.
And all of these nobles in Court were utterly terrified of the shadow of war looming over the Isle; but it couldn't be helped. The King couldn't let his subjects be murdered and sit there quietly with his thumbs up his a**.
For every day of peace they had, the King knew that the Six were planning. When they struck, Azreth knew they would deal a hard blow to his innocent people instead of aiming for him directly. With a frown and a grunt, the King kicked a stray rock in frustration, sending it flying off to the left. .:: O O C ::. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

One moment Genevieve was standing peacefully, the next a rock was hurled into her side. She blinked, the pain increasingly growing, she turned to where her attacker might be. Her eyes widened, there walked the king. Her golden eyes couldn't believe it, but he looked extremely upset. Going into her motherly mode, she peacefully walked over to him.
"Pardon me, my Dear King, but is something troubling you?" Her curiousity grew, she hated when people were upset, more than ever it was when it was the King. She had forgotten that he had pegged her with a rock already. She frowned, if only there was something she could do!
So she decided to ask, "'I don't know whats going on, but is there something that I can do?" Her voice coming out in a soft coo, as it usually did when her motherly side was to come out.

A frown creased the King's brow as he looked up. Ah, a mare he had not met before, hmm?
The King put on a false smile, sweeping in to a low, elegant bow. "My Lady, I apologize. I would have certainly remembered if I had met as a beauty such as yourself, yet apparently you know me. I am Azreth, and as you already know, I am King of this Isle. I uh...apologize for accidentally hitting you; I did not look where the trajectory of the rock's flight was going." He offered her an apologetic grin. .:: O O C ::. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

She smiled lightly, he seemed to be extremely uneasy. Her golden eyes looked around, maybe hwas being followed? She shrugged mentally, she listened to him speak, he was just as interesting as the stories her paren'ts would tell her.
The pure white mare giggled slightly, bowing back, "They call me Genevive Sue, I have heard many stories from you when I was a smaller filly." She giggled quietly, looking towards her tail again to make sure her bow was still upon it. Her biggest fear was to loose it. She smiled lovingly to the King, "No it's quite alright. Truthfully it didn't hurt to much." She flipped her hair looking down on him.
His grin got her to giggle, he seemed to care so much that he had hit her. Her only worry was to see what was on his mind, she was worried. The mother instinct that she had ended up kicking in, "You are troubled. It's worrying me, but all know I am the worrier type. Do you need to talk about something?"

The King grinned, arching a perfectly trimmed eyebrow. "Stories, you say?" He chuckled, his low baritone soothing. "What sort of stories, my lady?"
He purposefully ignored her question; Azreth was always hesitant to unburden himself of this heavenly creatures; Azrein had no right to be bothered by human troubles, especially his own. The King would do anything in his power for them. For some reason, each Azrein, even those who were against him, had a special place in his heart.
It was almost as if he held each one of them up on a pedastal; high beyond his reach. Of course, he didn't hesitate to prod fun at those he knew enjoyed banter, such as his Valdien. However, this mare seemed so sweet, so delicate.
She didn't deserve to be troubled by his own anxieties. .:: O O C ::. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

She let a small giggle escape her as he raised his eye brows, what an interesting King she had. Her brow furrowed, a small, gentle voice arising, "Well, they would always tell me that you were very powerful. My Dad would joke quite often of your 'super powers' and how you could make yourself disappear." She smiled, her eyes being clouded by her memories. Her quiet voice became slightlly more confident, "They told me that my brother, whom I have never met, was searching for you! So he could see your amazing super powers."
She had noticed he had chosen not to answer her other question, but she knew all to well you must not push information out of someone unless they wished to tell you themselves. Her ear twitched as she looked to her King, if there was only a way she could help him. Maybe he needed his mind off of things, she could probably do this! But as much as she tried to hide her worries, her eyes were almost a dead give away.
She bit her lip, looking back to her bow, it becoming unraveled. Her eyes becoming wide, "Oh no! My bow, how on earth did that become untied? Oh darn." She huffed, then turned back to the King, "Oh my! I am so sorry, I never talk like that!"
She blinked, maybe her bow problem would open him up to talking about what was on his mind. Her smile had become small, "It's just, my bow is so important to me. It's like a sign of my growing, if I ever lost it I don't know what I would do."

With a gentle smile, the King dropped down to his knee, bending at the waist to retie her bow. With deft hands, the King smoothly began braiding the unraveled ends of her tail, a smile gracing his features.
The knee of his leggings soaked up the dew from the lush grass beneath him, and as he finished typing off the golden bow, he arose, brushing off his pants. "There you are, sweet one." He took a few steps to take her ear between the fingers of his right hand, rubbing it softly. "I am eager to meet your brother once he finds his way here, darling. But as for these super-powers you speak of," a corner of the King's mouth raised in a quirky grin. "I believe the only thing I am capable of disappearing from are State meetings." He laughed; a low, rich baritone. "However, I am sure, did the need ever arise, I could just as easily high-tail it from any precarious situation, though if any of the Greater Herd were endangered, I would lay down my life."
The King tone had become solemn, his voice losing its warmth for a mere moment. "Even though I am not Bonded to all of you, each Azrein here means the world to me, sweetling." Azreth pressed his lips to the mare's forehead. "Even you, little one." .:: O O C ::. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

She smiled to the King as he graviously helped her tie her bow back. She was happy, he had even helped her tail be re-braided again. Her smile grew as the King rubbed her ear, it tickled slightly. Her small giggle escaped her throat after he stopped rubbing her ear and rubbed her neck. What a kind King they had, she was hapy she got the chance to meet him.
The pure white mare nodded, "I'm eager to meet him too! It'll be interesting for the both of us when he comes back or finds us, I believe." She giggled, then her eyes grew big as he started to talk about his powers. If this was true, she would be a very happy mare, but alas he had none. She giggled at his joke, "I am glad you can escape sometimes. All work and no play, eben for a King, is no way to live." She could sense his genuine personality as he spoke, one a King was expected to have, or so she'd been raised to believe.
She nuzzled into his chest, she was happy that she seemed to take her King's mind off things. She smiled warmly, "We all appreciate you! Even those who do not get to meet you." Her golden eyes looked at him, almost as warming as her smile had become.
