I swear, if I could afford insurance, I would have an ablation. I am sick of bleeding/spotting for two weeks only to have it start all over again 2 weeks later b/c mother nature counts from the start of the deal. I don't want to have sex, and poor Craig gets grumpy, but every time we do it I bleed.
Sadly I can't afford to get insurance. Going to get a Pap, means something may show up and nail me with a pre existing condition, and frankly, I just want to stop dealing with menses. I don't need my uterus anymore. It gave me 3 wonderful sproglets, but I'm done. So hysterectomy, uterine ablation, I don't care what, just make it stop because I don't intend to do this for however long it takes to hit menopause. And the fact that perimenopause can kick in 10+ years before menopause...I'm not in the mood to put up with the peri part.

Unless they ripped out her ovaries too, she will still go through it, just not the bleeding aspect. The mood swings and hot flashes will still come. Sucks being a woman that way. I'm fine with the ovaries and their evil schemes to turn me into a furnace. The uterus, however, must be dealt with.
