This evening Team USA faced El Tri from Mexico in another classic match-up for this year's Gold Cup final. The game started out well for Team USA, who scored first in the 7th minute and again in the 23rd minute. El Tri battled back, though, and scored in the 29th minute and again in the 36th minute, which left the score tied at 2 goals each at halftime. The second half was a little different story. El Tri scored in the 50th minute, and then again in the 76th minute. In spite of a valiant effort and a number of scoring chances, Team USA wasn't able to put the ball in the back of the net. The final score for the match: USA 2, Mexico 4. sad
