It was a boring evening. The rain was pouring down, no visitors on the beach all day, and the air was almost as cold as in november. Domi couldn't stand the frosty breaths, so he decided to dive down into the depths for a change.
Deep down layed the old ruins, as empty as always. He remembered how he used to play around by the remains of the old temple when he was younger. It was the perfect spot, where he could play all on his own, as the other cubs' parents forbid them to go there. Many still believed that the old gods of the landwalkers were watching over the stones, willing to hurt whoever did not pay them the respect they deserved.
Domi slipped into the little cave he used to hide out in. Here he knew he could rest in the warmth of the sea without being spotted by the dolphins. He layed down on some old seaweed, only resting his eyes for a moment.

 Quietly, Blërin swam through the old ruins, the faint sound of his tail separating the water around him echoing in the near empty waters. He took out a small sketch book, adding to his daily collection of drawings of the ruins. Carefully, he swam up, diving into a cave closer to the top of the ruins.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted something green slip into a small cavern below. Sighing softly, he paid it no mind, putting his sketchbook in his home and grabbed his specialized gaming device, slipping back to the ruins as it began to boot up.

Domi woke up as he heard a peculiar pinging noise bounce against the old stone walls. What was that? As usual, he let his undying curiousity have the best of him, and carefully had a look outside. It was getting rather dark, but he saw an odd squeare glow moving about. Is there someone out there?
Silently swimming up closer, hiding behind pillar after pillar, Domi snuck up closer to the light. The closer he came, the more he could see the figure of the one holding it. It looked... Almost as his own!

Blërin continued to play his game, clicking and resting against a pillar. "Alright.. Just need to equip zis..." He said quietly to himself, completely engulfed in his gaming.
His ears flickered a little as the water moved about, barely heightening his interest. He figured it was merely a fish or something of the sort and left it at that.

It spoke. It spoke! His first reaction was that he had spotted him, but no, seemed as if he was only speaking to himself. Domi couldn't help but to smirk a bit at his accent though. He'd never heard anyone speak like that before.
Now he could clearly see his face. It'd been so long since he met another mertiger. Mostly because he had been avoiding them. From his experience, the other mertigers liked to play with dolphins and go out deep and play around togeather. Basicly, all those things he either didn't enjoy much or wasn't very good at.
But his curiousity led his eyes further from the fellow mertiger's face, and closer towards his shiny box. Curiouser and curiouser... Domi thought to himself as he tried to sneak up around him to have a closer look from behind the pillar.

Blërin noticed motion heading towards him and brightened up his game console, looking towards the creature: a mertiger. His eyes narrowed considerably, "Vat do you vant?" He said naturally, knowing the rest of the mertigers despised him for messing with the land races and way of life.
His narrowed eyes looked over the creature, wondering why he'd come near here in the first place. This was the only place where he could naturally be alone in his own way of life.

Domi was dazzled by the sudden light. In the moment of shock, he suddenly burst out laughing as he heard the other speak again. He couldn't help it, eventhough the other mertiger looked rather unhappy allready.

Blërin growled lowly, "Vat is so funny? If zere is somezing wrong, fine, tell me." He swam up to his little den, planning to pack up to go to the fresh waters again.

Now Domi laughed even harder. He laughed so hard he started crying, not that if was very noticable underwater.
"You talk so funny!"
He looked at him with a big smile.
"Say something else! Say 'There once was a worm in the water'!"

Blërin rolled his eyes, "Zere is somezing seriously vrong vith you... " He began to pack varied items he made himself in a suitcase, swimming past him, flicking his tail extra hard when he passed the creature.
He thought about how obscene those mertigers were and how they hurt his eyes, liking the fact this one only laughed at the way he spoke... For now.

Did he upset him? Of course, as usual... Domi watched him going past him, slightly dissappointed. No! He was not giving up that easily. He had the urge to know what the glowing object was, and he wasn't going to figure it out by just letting it pass him by.
Domi turned around to follow the other, picking up his pace, going faster and faster, and as soon as he got right beside him he reached into his suitcase and snatched it. He swam a few meters past him and started twisting and turning it. How did he do it?

Blërin hissed, swimming up to him rapidly, grabbing his gaming console back, glaring at him. "I prefer if you ask first.. Zis one is still under construction..." he swam away once more, flickering his tail more so.

"But..." Domi looked at him with sad little puppy eyes, being shooked away by the rapid flickering. "FINE!" He swam by him, flipping his tongue out, then he went back for the surface.
Well up in the air, the rain had stopped, but it had gotten even colder after the sun went down. "He can keep his magic boxes to himself, Mister Grumpybutt..."

"HEY!" Domi looked at him in fury. "If you're gonna be a meanie, then atleast be that far away from MY flowers!" He hugged a lily lovingly, turning his back against the other.
