---The last forest west of Etruria is thin an gradually diminishes as it nears the boarder of the Missur Peninsula, dominated by the Nabata Desert. Frequent brush fires gently burn away the weaker plants, so the forest is wide and open, consisting of tall trees separated by empty grassland. At present the group silently arrived at a suitable campsite, a nice little clearing with a pine needle carpet, started a fire with the help of Alex' magic, set up camp -making sure to give the little Sarah special comforts- and turned in for the night.
---Alexander took a shot of Laudamun and fell into a deep, comma-like sleep, not to wake until morning. He missed a cool, clear, starry night and a few meteor showers, however he was dreaming, and he wouldn't have cared he missed these things even if he knew he did. He was dreaming about his life before the Archmage came to his village, when he was in Sacae. He was standing on a cliff overlooking his village, with the people below briskly working away at their various tasks; feeding the horses, harvesting wheat, transporting water. It was a simple life, a life where the sword and the bow were symbols of power. He was a simple youth back then, eager to go out of the village on some adventure, unaware that his wishes would come true.
---It was morning now, and Alex woke up, still drowsy though, and left the tent. Apparently Sarah was an early bird, she had woken Aeonis and Inzu and was currently commanding them around the campsite, issuing chores. Alex dressed himself in his plain tan shirt and trousers, put on his sash and then stepped outside. "Your finally awake." Sarah cried. "I tired to wake you up earlier, I though you were in a comma. Hurry, you and Inzu need to go find a stream and get some more water."
--- The villagers had given them ample rations of water, but they were too heavy and they didn't have a horse to help them carry all of the supplies. They emptied some of the casks, so they needed more. Alex sighed. "How is everyone this morning?" ((Everyone can post now))

An ebon armored limber figure that was impossible to distinguish gender and an ebon pegasus that was very lightly barded were all that were seen by a small stream. The rider's lower face could be seen, the mouth and part of the nose were seen, but the rest was hidden. A thin slit in the visor had a purple glow coming from it. The rider was affectionately stroking the beautiful black pegasus' jaw. The figure stood up and wrapped its arms around the neck and hugged the steed before removing the barding from the steed and taking its lance and a lyre and placing the lance on the floor, next to what appeared to be a javelin. The rider removed its helmet, revealing that it was still impossible to tell if it was a woman or a very feminine man... until he began to play and sing. His fingers executed a very soft melody that was strangely peaceful despite the fact that he looked like one well versed in the art of battle. His features were very strange. One eye was red and the other was blue, both glowed, even while he remained calm, but his hair definitely stood out. He couldn't be much older than twenty but it was a stark white, snow color. His songs were sung in a very strange language, but were soothing as another, this one a mere child robed in red with the same color of eyes and hair stepped out from behind a few trees carrying a few fish and some waterskins, now full.
"Kail, are you done with your tasks? We can go the moment you'd ask." The armored figure asked. The young boy looked at him, and shook his head. "That's okay, Krios... I'd rather not get moving... we've only been here a few days... surely another day or two wouldn't hurt." Kail suggested, sitting down and placing the bags down. "Archsage Athos is supposed to be in the area, but I've seen hide nor hair of him since we arrived." Kail sighed. "Maybe we've got the wrong area." He shrugged. Krios merely closed his eyes and lay down next to his steed. "Hyperion... whinny if anyone comes." Krios said, fading into a light slumber. Kail kept his eyes open, his tome ready. He grinned. This will be an EXCELLENT chance to make someone bleed. He laughed intrinsically.

---Aeonis sat by the fire, snapping twigs. She let out a small yawn. Last night had been beautiful. A clear sky, stars, and a meteor shower. It couldn't have been nicer. Alex asked how they'd been and Aeonis replied, "Great," with another yawn. She ran her hand over her hair, not even realizing it after doing it all the time.
---She threw a few sticks into the fire, only to be shouted at to do something more constructive by Sarah. Sarah seemed to think she ran the place. Aeonis just ignored the girl and stared into the blaze of the fire. The flames licked openly at the brisk morning air, dancing around as if they had a life of their own. Aeonis got up and turned to her tent. She started taking it down, rolling it up, and packing it away in her bag.

Alexander nodded, picked up an empty bucket and wandered into the woods, letting the spirits of the forest guide him to a source of fresh water. It was sort of warm, so Alex took off his heavy black cloak and draped it over his shoulder. Aeonis' warning about the bandit tribes weighed on his mind, as well as the events in the village. The little girl would be useful to have around, she could heal wounds if necessary, and the Nabata Desert was plagued with various bandit clans, making a living by hunting for treasure and trading it on the northern shore of the Missur peninsula.
He came to a suitable source of water, a small brook cascading out of a small ledge. As he was filling the bucket with water he noticed a cave at the other end of the brook, and odd phenomenon. He stood up to investigate it, walked along the brook and peered inside. It was narrow at first but it looked like there was a larger area deeper down. The opening was large enough to crawl through., he stooped over and poked his head inside to get a better look; there was a faint light emanating from below. Suddenly his dagger slipped out of it's sheath and slid down into the darkness. "Damn it."
Alex returned to the camp with the bucket of fresh water and set it with the rest of the supplies. He walked up to Sarah. "Hey, would you mind doing me a favor?" He asked. She grinned, "I lost my dagger, it fell into a cave near the brook. Come on, follow me."

Pulling away from his duties at the moment, he turned towards Alexander and rose a brow. "You aren't running off without me now, are you?" He grinned widely, before looking back at the various men and women who he had just a moment ago had been directing around. He frowned for a second, and finished off giving tasks, before walking in Alexander's direction. "With the people that are available, it gives me less and less to do, Alex" He rolled his eyes, pointing this thumb at the group as if that would make his point clearer.
He looked around for the other random people, nodding towards Aeonis as she did her duties as well. Finally he found his spear lying by a tree and looked to him again, with a brow raised and a glance now towards Sarah. "How are you little one? Everything has been going well, I do hope." The latter part was said to Alexander though he did not toss him a look as he said it.

After a few moments of downtime, Kail took Krios' lyre and began to strum a few practice notes on it before playing a soft song on it. Unlike the rest of him, his voice sounded like it was his age as he sang, his crimson and azure eyes lighting up even beneath closed eyelids. He was singing in a strange, soft but evil sounding language. He stopped after a moment. "Krios?" He asked, turning to his cousin who was fast asleep. "Wake up, you oaf!" He hissed, kicking his cousin, whose armor absorbed the whole attack. Kail sighed, opened the tome and began to read from it as he took his dagger and began carving the same inscriptions onto his arms. His eyes glowed to the point where the the eyes were unseen even in the daylight as he put a hand forward. "Silinrul d' Sea'anen, rosa pholor udossa l' yorn d' dosst olath yornen! Flux!" He said in both layers, firing a column of dusk from under the ground which harmed Krios enough to wake him up. "Watch it! I could have been hurt! Or were you meaning to drag me under the dirt?!" Krios hissed as he put a mistmatched silver gauntlet on his shoulder to remove his plated breastplate and most of his armor, leaving him with the silver gauntlet and tan breetches, brown boots and a white shirt. "I'm going to go bathe, I smell like blood. You may want to do the same, bud." Krios suggested, walking over to his rucksack, taking it and his javelin, fastening it to the gauntlet with a wire and wandering downstream to bathe. Kail sighed as soon as he left. Last spring he had met a female mercenary who had a very pleasant demeanor and was very kind to him. He had been longing to see her for a long time... and last time he had wandered around solo, he had seen her... last year, and hoped for a repeat of last year. He took a dose of an energy brew he'd... borrowed... last time he was in an Ilian city from an old alchemist (Whom he'd made money off of when he served him shortly before Krios accidentally blew the alchemist's brew up and took the old man's life because he mismeasured one too many ingredients) and as a result was hyper and had been all morning, will be all afternoon and possibly most of the evening.
He drank a bit of tea to settle his nerves and ended up overdosing on a bit of tranquilizer, just like he had on the energy drink and ended up a disoriented wreck. He lay there on the floor, hyper and wanting adventure mentally but his body was numb and beyond unresponsive. It seemed like forever before Krios came back and got into his cloak to shield himself from the sun. Kail suddenly found the strength to move, took his packs off from Hyperion's side and went downstream. He took off his robes, the remainder of his clothes, his boots and jumped into the water, the cool water felt wonderful on his skin as he took out a comb and brought his head under to strain the blood and assorted disgusting things from it. When he emerged from under the water he took in a deep breath. It felt absolutely wonderful to be able to play and calm down for once, the glows fading from his eyes for that one moment where he could be truly calm and stress-free. After scrubbing the last bits of blood from his pale flesh and bandaging the wound he'd gained blasting Krios he got dried off and dressed, putting on a light linen pair of gauntlets, a purple linen shirt, canvas breetches dyed purple and a pair of soft shoes, also dyed purple. He then put on a purple cloak with a hood to protect his face and took his things back to camp. "When I was scouting last night... I saw in lights that were not bright... The girl you have desired to see... a short ways off from you and me..." Krios said to Kail as he threw a black hood over himself to shield his face as well. Kail's eyes widened. "Really?! How far off?!" He asked excitedly. "If they head here and we head there... the trip won't be more than a day to bear..." Krios said. Kail smiled. "We'll start in a few minutes I guess." Kail suggested, packing his robes.

---As Aeonis swung her backpack on after packing away her stuff, she noticed Alex, Inzu and Sarah gathering away from the main camp. She headed over to them. "Alex, you guys weren't planning on leaving me here, were you?" She asked with a small wink. "So where are we headed now?" She looked down and smiled at Sarah, who had turned to look at her and Inzu. The girl mustn't have seen Aeonis because she turned back to Alex as if she had never looked away.

Inzu turned back as soon as he heard Aeonis and a broad toothy smile took countenance over his face, "I wish I knew, they won't tell me anything." He ruffled Sarah's hair with a wink, before looking to the rest of the camp, "Everybody seems enthusiastic, kind of strange isn't it? So much energy and joy running through the veins of these men." One hands was looped around his belt, almost giving him a womanish look before turning back to the rest, "We'd best hurry, otherwise we'll get left behind"

Krios began locking his javelin to his false forearm, set the springs and tethered it to the base. Since he couldn't throw with the remnants of his sword-arm he needed the spring to assist him. Hyperion was saddled up and Krios took the main saddle. "Kail, younger cousin of mine, do you not wish to be there on time?" Krios asked, fixing his eyes on Kail. Krios took off his hood, put on a wicked looking black ram horned helm with a seperate plate for his mouth and his chestplate and threw on his greaves and gauntlet. Kail put on his crimson mage's robes and awkwardly positioned himself behind Krios. "Hyperioon! Fly hard and fly fast! I want to see nothing but blurs past!" Krios cried. Hyperion leapt into the air and used its wings to glide for a bit before kicking its legs and flying for real towards the encampment of Alex and company. "Are you sure this is wise? I'm not exactly... itching to see them again... and what of--" Kail was cut off by Krios. "To the nine hells with Athos, young one! Would you rather go solo and have to run?" Krios hissed before they reached full alititude and began to ride the current. Kail shook his head before beingknocked off balance as Hyperion gained speed and Krios remained tall in the saddle.

---"It's of no consequence, you may come if you wish." Alex replied, sarcastically. He understood what was going on, he though, the rest of them where just using it as an excuse to avoid doing chores. But isn't everyone like that? Sarah was all too eager to tag along, she didn't just keep up, she sprinted through the sparse forest and bounded over the stream, just to prove that she could do it. Alex stopped abruptly at the edge of the stream and called out to her: "Is there somewhere you are going I wonder?"
---She dropped down on the ground, smiling, and then rolled around a bit before jumping up and joining the group. Alex leaned toward Aeonis, "She's twelve right? Do you think she'll calm down in a couple of months?" As they walked down the stream his mind began to wander, surprisingly, towards the amplitude of the graph of sine.
---Here it is." Alex declared mechanically, tossing his cloak on the stream bank. "So Sarah, you are the adventurous type aren't you? Could you climb down there and find my dagger?" She wiggled and giggled and dissapeared down into the cave. Alex sat on a rock and turned to his companions.

"Their camp should be there, but it's not here! But nevertheless it should be nea--" Krios suddenly stopped and Hyperion descended sharply, dropping sped before landing past the company and trotting. Kail, who's eyes were wide during the entire descent had his eyes wide as they landed. He got up, took a few staggered steps and almost vomitted. "Krios... NEVER take me flying again!" Kail hissed at Krios as he staggered to the party. "ALEX! AEONIS!" Kail shouted loudly. He was about fifty feet away, they shuld have been within earshot. Hyperion, with Krios still saddled trotted towards them and Kail broke into a run to keep up. They stopped about twenty feet, unsure if they should go any further than that. "Haven't seen you in a bit, Alex!" Kail said happily. "Okay, okay... a week to be fair, but still." He didn't approach, but undid his hood so his stark white hair and strange, glowing eyes could be recognized before Krios dismounted and also took a few steps, his javelin still loaded in the false forearm. He stood beside Kail before removing his helm to show that he had the same white hair and mismatched eyes. "Friends of yours I'd presume?" Krios asked. "Haven't seen them for a couple of moons." He said, unbuckling his lyre from the back of his waist and tucking it under his arm. "Yeah..." Kail said, not paying attention.

---Aeonis followed along after Alex, laughing at Sarah. So much energy! They didn't appear to have a set destination, until Alex stopped and called for Sarah to stop running ahead. She turned to him as he asked her, "I hope so." She replied with another laugh. "Well, she should." Aeonis rolled her eyes and they continued along the river.
---They arrived at a small cave by the riverbed. She watched as Sarah disappeared, laughing and giggling the whole time. Aeonis stood still, one hand on the strap of her bag, the other hanging at her side, by her sword. She wacthed the cave, waiting for Sarah. Then she heard her name being called. Turning around, she noticed Kail with his standout-ish appearance; white hair, glowing red and blue eyes. He was with another guy, who had the same eyes and hair colour as Kail, and a black pegasus. "Hey!" Aeonis waved.

Kail and Krios came forward with a surprising amount of speed, Kail losing the calm demenor as he rush to Aeonis, stumbling and falling face first in front of her. Krios, who was running armored took a little more time and saw Kail. He grabbed him by the hood of his cape and shook him without a word before releasing him and taking a spot somewhere a little distanced from the others. Kail landed on his feet, surprisingly. He had a small scratch on his hand, with a little bit of dirt. It might have gotten infected had he been normal. "I didn't expect to see you guys after the thing with the bandits..." Kail said to Alex and Aeonis, wiping the dirt off the scratch to find it to be absent. He smiled. "...But... I can't complain knowing that you are all alive." His smile widened. In his eyes there was nothing but true excitement. Krios, who had been with Hyperion shortly before this had mounted it and gotten his helmet on, taking to the skies without so much as a word and flying off.

---Laughing, Aeonis watched as Kail tripped. Before she could offer to help him up, Krios lifted Kail up. "You okay?" She asked. She smiled at Kail. "What are you doing here? Weren't you headed somewhere or something?" She wondered aloud. Maybe Kail was here for the same reason as her, maybe something had just pulled him here? Well, whatever the reason was, she was happy to see him again. Aeonis watched as Krios lifted off, flying away. "Who's he?" She asked, nodding her head in the direction where Krios and Hyperion had been just before.

"I'm fine." Kail said bluntly, standing up. "I'm here on business. I figured that this would be the best place to start." He said flatly. He turned to Krios. "That's... my cousin." He pointed. His eyes weren't fully open, he had that perpetually dazed look on his face that he had somehow gained. "How've you been? Have you been eating well? Sleeping well? Earning a decent living?" He shot at her quickly. "I've been doing fine..." he said, blatantly disregarding Alex's prescence.
