So I've been thinking that I should introduce a small, simple system for using fighting styles within the guild so here it is.
You see most "techniques" in most of the styles are nothing more than what the person can now use in combat. In truth they go more alongside that stage's powers than anything else. So I have devised a system along the lines of this:
When using a style the user's energy will be deducted from the stage which they active. For example:
Say one is to activate the first stage of a style, which is mostly D-Rank, then they will deducted a D-Rank Energy. If one is to activate the last stage of a style all they would need to do is deducted energy equal to the rank of that stage to use the entire style.
Otherwise it would be sort of BS. Take Taekwondo as an example. If one were to deducted Energy whenever they were to use a so-called technique from its third stage they would be subtracting B-Rank energy for a single kick. It just isn't right.
