Hello everyone. This thread is not about any particular topic having to do with politics or conspiracy theories, it is about what I can do personally to spread the word about these things. I am 16, almost 17 which means I'm still in high school. I know, I know, I may seem very young to many of the people in this guild, but I consider myself much more mature than the majority of people my age for even caring at all about things like this (And for any other teen members of the guild, I'm not saying you care any less. All I am saying here is that most teens don't really give a s**t about political science or economics).

I find that when I try to spread the word about anything that we discuss here in this guild, even when branching off of a political discussion, I usually get nowhere, be that with adults or teens. Even though I am getting people thinking about these things, they usually just call me crazy and move on. This causes me to be socially cast out in many situations. Now, I'm not saying my social life is more important than any particular cause I am fighting for, what I am saying is that if my mental health deceases because of what I have just mentioned, it will be detrimental to my cause. So I'd just like to ask everyone here, what have you seen work in spreading the word to people you are close to without being cast out? What else can I do in the real world to spread the word about such things at my current stage in life? I try my hardest and best, but I'd just like to know if I can do anything better. Thank you.

Also, forgive me if this thread is in the wrong place.

Sheeple will be sheeple. The sad truth in the matter. But i know what you mean. Here's the obvious: The main thing is, when you try to spread the word, don't start off saying something like "9/11 was an inside job" or "The american government actually wants you dead". You have to start from the basics. I.E. Begin the topic with "Have you ever wondered what those weird cloud-like substances in the sky are? They spread for miles, and never dissipate. I think the planes are spreading some chemicals in the sky." or "Why would there be a pyramid on the back of the AMERICAN dollar bill? What does Eygpt have to do with America? Isn't that weird?".

The main thing you have to remember is most sheeple, due to modern brainwashing, are not open minded. I think of it this way: People look up to the government and view them as their gaurdians or parents (they protect them, shelter them, and feed them). People are not keen to someone saying their mommy & daddy are secretly murderers and just want them dead. They will refuse the truth at all cost because it hurts. Even if all the facts are right in front of them.

The only thing we can do is get their minds started. Get them to wonder, "Yah, wtf are those weird things in the sky?" and hope that they research. Because when it comes down to it, individual research and study are the only ways that people can start to believe it.

Also, some people will NEVER believe it. This is very important. Sometimes you need to give up on telling a person, and have them come to you with questions, because they're so stubborn. Don't worry, people may realise it too late, but at least they won't fall prey to anything. They'll keep your words in mind, even if they don't believe them.

Another thing to keep in mind: never send an elite conspiracist noob to a site like infowars.com. It's too hard to navigate and figure out if you don't know the basics of the illuminati.

There's more to it, but it really just ends up coming naturally. You end up figuring out what works and what doesn't. I'm 18, so I'm young as well, but I have alot of expeirence due to my mother and fiance. They're the ones that actually got me started upon this path.

Yes, I see what you mean about using subtle things to gain attention at first. And I totally agree that many people think the government is a noble force that can do no real evil. After mentioning the subtle, getting into the real deep stuff is hard. At a certain point, people stop listening and disregard you. I tried the thing about the pyramid on the dollar, and you're right, it at least draws attention to the matter. Yeah, I've decided for the most part I'm going to let people do their own research. I'll turn their minds on, but trying to explain everything is just tiring and futile. I mean, I've learned all I've learned in a one year period, and I realize I still don't know just how deep the hole goes.

Thank you for your input, I'll greatly consider what you've said next time I find myself in a political discussion. =]
