I'm just not used to being in one yet. First guild I've joined in a looooong time. You should just slap me with a fish or something to remind me if I don't post something at least once a day.

I should be able to... xD Thanks ^_^ And could you quote me when you make a reply so that I get the notice? I'm trying to be better about that myself. In other news, my stepdad is playing with my emotions. He keeps saying we might go down to the track to see the competition run their cars. I want that 'might' to change into a 'we are going'. Every time I get my hopes up we end up not going. crying

He's been taking me to bike night when I ask, but I thought our race car would be ready to go by the time I got home for the summer. We're still putting the motor together so until then I want to see what everyone else is running. I like to spy. ninja Why do you want to go to Seattle?

Ok I want to say a couple of things. 1) I think it is pretty amazing that you have your own car. 2) By looking at your avatar, I think it's pretty effing cool that a chick works on cars too. I've never met a girl that is truely into cars besides just the looks. I want to go to Seattle so I can go to EMP and see the Nirvana exhibit. I'm a die hard fan and it would be AMAZING if I could go.

Well, technically it's not my car. It's my step dad's car that he's had since he was a teenager, lol. It's '67 Chevy Nova heart But, he's been letting me help with it ever since I showed interest (and he realized I wasn't going to break anything) and my mom stopped freaking out about me getting dirty and oily (been helping him while I'm at home for a while now). He plans to build me my own car (which is why I need get hands on with the Nova), but it won't be a strictly race track only car. I'll be able to drive it on the streets and do some minor tweaks at the track to get the most out of it. It's going to have the engine from a Nova and I would like for it to go into an F-body Camaro (I heart 'maro's) And while I like cars that look good, it means nothing if that bad boy can't run right. I'd much rather have a crappy looking sleeper than something nice and shiny that an electric wheelchair can beat. Is the EMP something that is always there like a normal museum or it is during a certain time of the year?

Those Novas are nice. I still think it's cool that you're into cars instead of worrying about breaking nails. (That's stereotypical I know). Personally I'm a Mustang guy. I like the the 64's, 66's, 67's and the 69's. The Fastbacks are nice but I have a hard time with picking between the Coupe and the Fastback. I like both a lot, but I'm more of a Coupe person. Camaro's are nice too (I still prefer Mustangs over anything). Which generation, 3rd or 4th? If the car can't perform right then it's junk. I would drive around a beat up Mustang as long as it performed right. I'm not sure on the exhibit. I want to say it's all year long. I think it's in the Seattle Center.

Phew, okay. You're safe. I thought you were going to say you're into the newer Mustangs that are out there running around. xd I want to break every pony I come across. But, I do have respect for the older generation Mustangs. 3nodding And it's fine to be stereotypical, lol. I mean, I don't like it when I break a nail, but it happens sometimes. It doesn't cost me anything but time for my nail to grow back so I'm more worried with what I'm doing on the car since parts don't usually come cheap. Unless it came from the junk yard. ninja lol. It doesn't matter what generation. I love all 'maro's. 4laugh I would love to get my hands on a 2011 though. eek Maybe I'll get my step dad to take me to a dealership so I can test drive one. That would be fun. I thought a fastback was just a type of coupe. That would make for a great summer trip. blaugh Maybe talk the family into going?

Well I meant what F-body do you want to put the engine in? Those newer Mustangs are nothing compared to the old ones. I mean they might have more power and look more "stylish" to some people but you can't beat the old ones. I saw a guy over by my house selling a 66 or a 67 (I think a 67) Mustang Coupe. I want it so bad. Then they have one online for $15k. I will get one sooner or later. After I get a job after college. A fastback is more of a meaner look I guess you can say. The main difference is the back end. I'll post two pics to show the difference. Coupe: http://www.1967-mustang.com/images/stanger4.jpgFastback: http://www.cs.hmc.edu/~mike/mustang/sideView.jpgSee the difference? I don't think I could talk them into going. We don't really have the money to go on a big trip like that. It's a little far .But I will go sooner or later. Once I get enough money for myself.

Like I said, either one of them would do just great, lol. I honestly like them both. If I absolutely had to make a choice though, I'd probably go with the 4th generation. I can't stand the hype that Mustangs get. Every young punk around think they're the sh-t because they have a newer model Mustang. I know what they both look like, but from definition I just thought the fastback was a specific type of coupe. But yea, I like the look of the fastback. $15 isn't bad. Must be in good condition. What are you majoring in? you have all types of plans saved up for yourself. blaugh

Go out somewhere and this guy thinks he's the baddest mother out there because he has a newer Mustang. I think it's hilarious. If I'm not mistaken the fastback a more powerful version of the coupe. The one on the internet was a show car, so I'm assuming it's in top shape. The one by my house was in definite amazing shape. I just had to stop and look. I'm going to major in Respiratory Care. Then after a while go back for Radiology maybe.
