Alright, Hi.
I know that in Japanese you read Right to Left, but I've seen some Japanese that is written Left to Right. Also I've seen Japanese that is written horizontal, and not vertical.
Is it that on the computer in Japanese you write Left to Right and horizontal, but if you're hand writing it's Right to Left and vertical?
Are there certain ways to write certain things?
In a typical book, not manga it's Right to Left and horizontal, right?
Thanks.

If it's horizontal writing, it's left to right, but if it's vertical writing, it's right to left.

Kakigoori_Oujo If it's horizontal writing, it's left to right, but if it's vertical writing, it's right to left. Yes, I know that, but when do you know which format to use? When do you write horizontally and when do you write vertically?

For most books or manga it's vertical, but if you're handwriting it then you can write either vertical or horizontal depending on the lines on your paper.
