They stopped abruptly and he let go of her. She looked around to see the were indeed at a firing range. "Oh dont worry I've notice!" She responded to his obvious statement with a sarcastic grin on her face.

He let his body glow and transform into two separate revolvers that fit nicely into Suki's hands. "This is where it gets interesting, kekekekekeke." Both the cylinders popped out of the and began to spin rapidly as different shades of light began to fill up the empty spaces where bullets would go. "Now try giving it a shot or two, if you're lucky the first one won't be black!"

Hatch transformed in to two guns that Suki held. She smiled as she looked them over and thought how nice they looked. "Alright lets go for a test drive!" she aimed at the targets at the other end of the range when he cautioned her on a black bullet. She paused "Wait what do you mean, hope you dont get the black one?" She looked down at the guns puzzled.

Hatch chuckled from within the guns "tricky shot is a very delicate technique, it randomizes the types of attacks you use based on colors! Red is fire, blue is ice, and so on! Black is backfire, and it'll hurt us both! Quite the prank, eh? Kekekekeke!" The cylinder began to spin rapidly, but it soon began to settle back into place and clicked in signifying the bullet was ready to be fired. "go ahead, give it a shot!"

Suki shrugged and thought what the heck? Its like a game of russian roulette... sort of. "If you say so." She pointed the gun back down to the end of the range slightly hesitating to make sure the shot was lined up and pulled the trigger. The next thing she new the target was hit and burst into flames. She smiled "Looks like i got a red one!"

Hatch began to cackle within the pistols "kekekekeke! Wait til you get the orange one! That's my favorite! Kekekekekeke!" He laughed wildly thinking of the orange polymorph ability. It was quite an interesting little technique that temporarily would change the target into a small sheep. "KEKEKEKEKE! Most definitely the best one!"

She smiled "Mmmm sounds pretty interesting, guess ill have to see that one!" Looked over the guns for a second "How many color bullets do you have?" She asked Hatch curiously.

He returned to human form and shook his head "kekekekeke. In total there are nine. One for each color of the rainbow, and then two more for black in white." He held up his fingers to demonstrate, and then pushed his hands into her face "keeping up? Good. We'll start from the beginning now! As you know red is fire and by far the most common, followed by blue which is ice, and followed by yellow which is thunder, followed by purple which is poison. There is orange which is polymorph, and then there is violet which is panic. The rarest one to get is green which is maximum heal, and for that one you'll get a heads up. That one takes a moment to charge up and will emit a green glow before firing giving you time to pick a target. Black as you already know is backfire, and while rare still occurs, and will disable the guns for awhile."
He gasped trying to catch his breath. Explaining the entire ability always wore him out. "Wooooooooo!!! Hopefully you caught all that cause I'm definitely not explaining again! Kekekekeke!!!"

She stood there concentrating while he explained it to her, taking mental notes, and nodding every so often. "I think i pretty much got it... I hope, but what about white? Is it special in anyway? The idea of all of this kind of excited her and it made her want to know as much as possible.

Hatch scratched his chin, and pondered "hmmm, no one's ever gotten white before. That's soul resonance or as I call it ragnarok. I've only been able to see what it's capable of in my dreams." He grabbed her by the shoulders and pressed his face into hers looking her directly into the eyes "it's as if the gods themselves wish the destruction of your foe!" He pushed her away and dramatically raised a hand to his forehead "alas no one has been capable of unlocking that power. Such a pity."

Hatch chuckled before a buzzing went off in his pockets and he jumped. Once he calmed down he checked the phone in his pocket. He flipped it open to check the messages "GAH! Late for work!" He bolted for the door and turned around to wave goodbye to Suki "we can hang out after my shift! Alright? Alright!" With that he bolted out the door, and began his way to the drunken poppit.

"Oh okay sure we can do this later" she smiled and watch as Hatch run out of the firing range to go to work. Suki looked up at the sky for a minute and watched a cloud passed. A big grin came across her face and she laughed to herself, the excitement of finding a partner got her all giddy.
