Getting up from her resting position, Kirjava didn't feel comfortable in the place that she was taken to. There was just an air around the place, like she was unwelcomed and unwanted. Paws took her away from the den and into the sands. Crimson eyes took in the surroundings as all she saw was sand. Sighing softly, this would take some time to get used to.
Unfortunately for the little female, she didn't understand what she was nor what was expected of her, but she'd had to learn or die. Wandering a little away from the den and into the sands, she blinked. Was that someone in the distance? Her eyes narrowed slightly to get a better view before they widen with surprise...that looked like a familiar face! Her tail flicked as she loped over to the newcomer. It was Aleu!
A smile slowly graced her face as she neared the other female. In a soft voice, she spoke, "Aleu! It's been such a long time, how have you been?" Crimson eyes glanced around sligthly as she knew the fighting for the throne was still happening and lowered her voice slightly, "There's a fight happening not too far away and we have to be careful. They aren't that friendly, Aleu."

Nuzzling Aleu back, Kirjava's tail wagged with happiness at the sight of her friend. It's been sooo long since she last saw her, almost like an eternity! As she enjoyed the moment with her friend and a little farther away from the den of the clan, she smiled brightly, "I've missed you so much, Aleu!" She paused before answering the question, "I was wandering around and stumbled into the desert. I met up with a lion and he took me to his clan, so I guess I am to stay here for a little while." She wasn't sure, what exactly was she doing here? Curiosity got the cat in this case, "How have you been?"

Watching her friend closely, Kirjava noticed her anxious motions and walked a little closer as if to comfort. Sitting down on the sand and curling her tail around her, the crimson and tan female thought for a moment. This place was different, that's for sure. "The lion told me I shouldn't have come here and then he had the King meet me." Turning her crimson eyes to Aleu, she asked the question she was always wondering, "What is a slave, Aleu? The one lion called me a slave and I met this other lioness who is a slave as well."

Watching Aleu as her eyes started to water, Kirjava felt a wave of sadness wash over her. She never wanted her friend to be sad for a mistake, yes it was now a mistake, that she had done. Getting up and walking to her friend's side, she sat down next to Aleu. "A tool? You mean...they don't care about me?" That was hard to imagine...she was deceived then by the lion. Crimson eyes looked downward as she didn't want to be a tool, to be owned. Never free? She couldn't roam around wherever she wanted to? "Not free?" That was a hard concept to grasp. She had always been free to do what she pleased. "What can I do? I don't want you to be sad, Aleu."

The same male that took the red femme was moving again. He had followed the slave as he was curious to where she was heading and she was a new slave, yet to be broken in and could think that she may be able to escape. He wouldn't allow that especially as Kwana had now left so everyone was under Kimeti if they liked it or not.
He had kept back for a little while untill the words leaving were mentioned, he then raised his head high and made his way towards the two lionesses. His mane looking surprisingly neat for once but he made himself look big and strong, which he was but some lions could be cheeky and he couldn't be bothered to deal with that. He wanted something better, he wanted another slave, this time he wanted his own slave.

Crimson eyes widen slightly as Kirjava heard what Aleu had said. Was she serious?! If Kirjava was a slave, wouldn't that make Aleu one too? In a hurried whisper, "Are you sure you want to do this? But, if I'm not free, then you wouldn't be free either...Aleu! I couldn't let you do that to yourself!"
Getting to her paws, she was about to try to get Aleu to leave when the scent of that lion came to her. Oh no, he had followed her and would more than likely find her friend here. Crimson eyes were wide with shock as she tried to get Aleu away, "He's coming...if he catches you he'll take you in, just like he did to me." Crimson eyes were starting to water as the tears were beginning to form. She wasn't free, but she didn't wish for her friend to be in the same predicament, she still had a life ahead of her. "Aleu..."

He looked over this femme and sighed, maybe this one would need to be "broken in" either way, he wasn't feeling too nice like he was when he had found the first slave and he wanted his own slave. He looked her over and then a smirk crossed his face, "Another slave, Kirjava you are doing well..." His brown eyes looked over the light brown femme as he wandered over to them getting very close to this new lioness.

Never looking up fully at the male and with the new information that Kirjava had, she didn't like him. He had tricked her and for that, she had lost all respect for him and his kind. They weren't lions in her eyes, they were savages. She wasn't a tool! She was a lioness! As he spoke, her ears drooped slightly and turned to steal a glance at Aleu. Why? Why did she have to come and find her...perhaps it would have been better if she had sent her off quite a while ago. Mumbling softly to Aleu, "Aleu...please..be careful."
