[Heaven and Hell]
There was a time where Religion had heavily influenced the world. Cruxis, a very powerful and organized group of extremists had further pushed a wedge between the realms of Heaven and Hell. The result of this was a Chaotic force that unweaved both the Holy and Demonic realms.
Eons had passed, thousands of years of repeated history changed or lost by the influence of Cruxis. However Cruxis itself had imploded, crushed by it's own power. Mankind had truly freed itself from spirituality but that only left them vulnerable.
Heaven and Hell now have both seen the weakness of Earth, each side planning to recapture mankind's faith once more.
The words of the past echo, "Faith. It's what started this war."

[Heaven vs Hell: Redemption Chapters]
Here's where we can keep up to date about current plots, fights, and events. -- Chapter I Overview SEVEN VIRTUES, SEVEN VICES Oni, Leader of Hell and Lucas, the King of Heaven have sealed away Inferno and Raphael, successfully ending the Great War. However the consequence was costly as both leaders had to tear their dimension to trap the two "Pillars of Cruxis". An irregularity in time from this tear has caused 5000 years to pass on Earth when only 5 years have passed between Heaven and Hell. This flux in time has spawned several unfavorable events.
Religion has been liberated from Earth. It's very rare for anyone to mention Demons, Angels, Gods, or Devils. Within the 5000 years, Earth has come under the rule of seven figureheads. These seven people have successfully dominated Earth's resources, people, and regions through manipulation or force. Lucas and Oni have been made aware that these seven leaders are the Seven Sins incarnate
Eons ago, in a time where Lucifer and God ruled, Seven beings were created to dominate Heaven. These "Sins" proved to be too powerful to be loose and so God created the seven "Virtues". These Virtues were artifacts of equal power and could counter the Sin's power. Of course, each Sin and Virtue were scattered throughout their respective realms. However it is painfully clear that someone has revived the Sins.
With religion gone, mankind's faith cannot empower Heaven or Hell. Once again the two realms are weakening. Lucas and Oni have allied themselves once more to abolish the Sins, repair the flow of time, restore Mankind's faith and to find whoever revived the Sins.
-- Chapter I Events

A mysterious man is also lurking near the ruins of Cruxis' Fortress. His motives are as unknown as he is.
[9/29] Having split up to search for the Virtues, Oni and Lucas have gone to look for each relic in their respective realms. With each leader guiding their team the search for each Virtue has begun.
[Earth] Phobos has stumbled upon a mysterious freight with Rosewood's crest on it. Guarded by Marcus, the two are fighting for the cargo.
Arc, one of the four "Pillars of Cruxis" has been revealed to be alive. He has also revealed that he was the one who revived the Sins in an effort to revive David. Unexpectedly, David, the fourth "Pillar of Cruxis" has revealed himself to Arc. Realizing the Sins are now no longer needed, Arc and David join forces and plan to remove the Sins. However no one is aware that the two remaining members of Cruxis are alive.
An extraordinarily powerful robot called The Exterminator has invaded the city of Rosewood and has "infected" a small number of citizens with nanomachines. Declaring war on all organic life, Exterminator seeks to turn the planet into a robotic nation. However Aldrich, the founder and environmental pioneer of Rosewood has engaged Exterminator face to face. Just what kind of secrets has Aldrich been hiding for him to have fearlessly challenged the Exterminator?
[Heaven]
The Virtue of Charity has been found in Yaabashael, the Cathedral Capital. Lucas and Raven confront Aaron about his involvement with the High Council while Wyndm, Kain, Avery, and Negi search for the Virtue.
After a small skirmish with Aaron's puppet, Lucas becomes trapped in the very Abyss he formed to imprison Inferno and Raphael. Raven joins with the others after picking up Cynthia, the Virtues Guardian. However Wyndom's group has been captured by one of the Council members, Alexandria but the party escapes into the Underground Cavern.
General Grants, a prominent member of St. Anne's warriors guild has recruited Arc Imishi, one of St. Anne's promising guards to accompany him to question Wyndom and his group. Upon learning the group has escaped, Grants and Imishi pursue.
Seeking out Inferno, Lucas combines their powers to escape the Abyss. The sudden flux in energy has caused Cynthia to go berserk and attack anyone in her way. Sir Aaron has greeted a visitor, Sabriel Megalith as she had been searching for Lucas as well. In a moment of anger, Aaron captures Sabriel and heads down to the Underground Lake to confront Lucas who has escaped.
Now, Lucas, Inferno, Raven, Wyndom, Avery, Imishi, Grants, and Cynthia have all found themselves at the Underground Lake with Aaron on his way with Sabriel. Grants and Imishi are currently observing the fight between Cynthia and the Vanguards while Lucas is recovering from escaping the Abyss.
Inferno has been taken away by Takehitsu, an old friend and rival who was unaware that the Fire Demon had been sealed away. Just how will their reunion affect the current events? Inferno who is still considered Heaven and Hell's greatest threat is now on the loose.
After a fierce struggle against Cynthia, Wyndom, Raven, and Avery have stopped the mad Celestial's assault. The virtue of Charity is in their grasp but now Lucas and his party have to take on Aaron, the treacherous Seraph. Lucas, his Vanguards, General Grants, his subordinate Arc Imishi, along with Avery and Sabriel now face Aaron's divine wrath.
In the meantime, Makenzie, another member of the High Council has found Naya, an Enchantress who has been suspected of murdering several Celestials. Escaping, Naya loses Makenzie to the storms of Anani. Lissianna, a Seraph who directs Heaven's Choir has offered to help Makenzie with her search for Naya but also a book on Alchemy. Heaven's investigations on Earth have dug up information of the Sins experimenting with Alchemy however Lissianna still remains suspicious.

Quote:
Oni, Kira, and Desdemonia(Skittles) went to the Frozen Wastes and confronted Janus, Guardian of the Helmet of Diligence. After a quick fight(and a long hiatus) Oni was proven to be the new ruler of Hell by Abbaddon, a legendary Fallen Angel kin to Lucifer, and thus was given the Helmet and Janus swore his loyalty to him as well. As they attempted to leave a mysterious figure appeared and Oni saw who he thought to be Inferno standing across from him. A small fight ensues and it is revealed that the figure was Roy, son of Inferno. Roy joins the group and they return to Hell.
After taking time to recover Oni sends Kira, Roy and Janus to Yggdrasil Forest to recover the next virtue. The group made a game out of reaching their destination, which was spoiled by Janus' cautious attitude. Once in the forest the group was confronted by Cho Hakkai, Guardian of the Sash of Kindness, and it was revealed that Janus and Hakkai were old friends from the days of Lucifer. A second group of beings were discovered, Jade and Rihan, who said they were on a mission from Oni as well. No one seemed to believe them and a fight were about to break out. Before a fight could start another being showed up wearing a black cloak and a tiger mask. This being could weild chaos energy and already held one of the virtues, the Shield of Patience. This mysterious figure tried to steal the sash, but Janus acted quickly and kept the sash from falling into unknown hands. Kira, Roy, and Janus escaped the forest leaving Jade, Rihan, and Hakkai to deal with this mysterious figure. Hakkai died at the hands of this unknown entity, and what happened to Jade and Rihan is unknown.
Upon returning to Hell, Janus went straight to Mjollnir to give the sash to Kal, the man in charge of Hell's most precious information. While Kira and Roy went to find Oni and let him know of their return. Once they found Oni he was slaughtering potential recruits for Hell's Army, before either of them had a chance to say anything Oni brother Negi appeared.
David, an former member of Cruxis has gone to Hell to join Hell's Commander, Oni, Oni's brother, Negi, Lucas' Vanguard, Kira, and Inferno's son, Roy to help fight against the Sins. However David has introduced himself under the guise of Sam as only Cruxis members and Lucas know of his true identity.

[Location: St. Anne, Warriors Guild]
Approaching the Guild, one could not dismiss the high walls surrounding the place, as they stood about 70 feet high. Although made of common stone and brick there were Celestial runes carved into the broad surface of the walls. A low, nearly inaudible vibration hummed from the runes, the sound of a dormant magical energy kept prepared as a security measure for direct threats. The gate itself was not nearly as tall as the surrounding walls, reaching up to 10 feet, however it was thick and made of metal. On the face of either gate door, the statues of two Arch Angels had been crafted into the metal, each one holding their swords and shields with nobility. It was a symbol for all who wished to join the guild, a message that they could one day become an elite warrior to serve and protect Heaven.
Two heavily armored Celestials would guard the front gate, usually silent unless addressed. Passing through the gate, one would see the open courtyard where warriors and visitors could relax or mingle. A fountain had been built at the center of the courtyard, new stone laid around it as if to cover up a giant hole in the ground. The courtyard itself curved out to form an imperfect hemisphere, statues of Celestial warriors lining the outside of the opening.
Moving ahead, the Guild itself was next to be seen. There were several entrances into the building but the main hall could be accessed easily through the front, larger door. Once inside, one would notice a spacey waiting room and a front desk stationed by an older looking man. This man obviously had seen many battles but his days of fighting had ended. Behind him was a giant board with various papers and flyers pinned to it. One could assume missions and quests were posted there.
Exploring the guild would reveal numerous training rooms, a dining hall, several housing and bathing quarters, equipment storage, offices and shops. At the back of the building, when one explored through the halls of the guild there was another large door which led to the arena. Large groups of people trained here regularly and one could almost always here the clashing of blades and armor from the arena.
The arena itself was dirtpacked and was surrounded by the rest of the Guild's wall. There was seating available for crowds as occasionally events were held within the arena. However there wasn't anything too significant about this area at first glance.
----
Lucas had found himself at the back of the arena, sitting alone as he paged through an old looking journal. Although he would have had at least two guards with him, Lucas explained that he would be at the Guild this day. There were plenty of fighters there to "protect" him if need be.
The leader of Heaven had come to the Guild to relax as he found it too cramped in his usual office. As the Leader of Heaven, Lucas had to get used to a new lifestyle. He was more accustomed to the battlefield or low-profile facilities, not a palace! The Arena here was the closest thing he could get to natural for now. The atmosphere here would keep Lucas' mind focused on the entries he was reading.
"Peculiar..."
Lucas muttered as he read through the journal. This journal was thick and leather-bound, worn out by the elements and a man's sweat. The contents of this journal were written by a traveler he had commissioned to travel Earth. Five years had passed in Heaven since the incident with Cruxis and not a single word had been uttered of them since. Now Lucas' integument had grown as he had sent the traveler to Earth a year ago. He had recently returned with an shocking bit of news.
The one year that had passed in Heaven a THOUSAND years had passed on Earth!
This was strange and there was no reason behind it. Time had always flown collaboratively between realms. The thought of rapid time progression on Earth was concerning enough. Sighing, Lucas kept on reading through the journal as there was essentially a monumental amount of history recorded within the old pages. Of course Lucas was looking for something specific now, a key point in time that may have changed the relationship between the different realms.
Always, Heaven and Hell had been at odds. Countless wars had been spawned with Earth as the middleground. For eons this had always been the way of things. Always, until now. Earth was becoming segregated. The stability of Heaven was steadily weakening. Lucas and a small few, the ones who were on the High Council were becoming aware of this. The people of Earth were forgetting about angels and demons and the repercussions were becoming tangible- real! The spiritual energies of this realm were losing their potency, albeit in a very small percentage.
"What a headache..."
Running his hand through his untamed blonde hair, Lucas gazed down to the warriors who were training in the arena, his electric blue eyes falling on the group as they practiced their sword techniques..
A man in a Azure Cloak that was Covering his whole body and his Face as a whole, would Roam outside of St. Anne, And would begin to walk up to the gate, The Angelic Guards would Stop him in his Tracks, But with a Single Glare of a Single Azure Eye He would Speak, Sounding Quite Upset.
"Ki...Move it Bub"
Appearently It was Ki the Azure Wolf, He would walk thru Town without slowing down and would finally get to the Guild of the Arena, He Would Kick open the door, The boot print easily seen on it, As he Walks into the Arena starting to get near Lacus.
The Fighters wouldnt know who it was, Thinking it was an Enemy they Charged at Ki, This was funny, With a chuckle, He would Take His known sword from behind his back with his right hand, And swing it towards everyone. an Azure tornado would pick all the fighters up and set them back into the Arena where they belonged. And he walked up to the desk of Lacus and would stare at his buddy.
"Nothing to report,"
He would take his hood off and would have that spiky Azure hair, but something was alittle different, the highlights of Crimson in his hair were new, What did that mean? His outfit changed as well, His boots were melted with plate into them and his pants were gaiters, His shirt was the same but with a crimson and azure chest peice, with 2 shoulder guards to his normal 1. but as tough as could be and as light as a feather. his sword was the same as always.
"Been awhile, you dont even send me chocolates anymore."
Posted: Thu Jul 07, 2011 9:32 pm
"Well, well."
Lucas looked up from his reading, concerned that someone had simply stomped through the Guild, apparently with intent on causing trouble. Standing up even, Lucas watched as the warriors began to put to use the training they had been given. And then an odd thing happened- the warriors were flung back safely to where they began.
"Haha, I'll be damned." An odd thing for a man of his position to say.
"Ki, my friend! I'm afraid I didn't have an address to send chocolates too. Looks like you've been wandering- as always. How would you like to put your experience to good use? I have something you'll be interested in."
Lucas tapped Ki's chest with the bulk of the journal. Smiling to his friend, Lucas waved his hands to the guards and warriors, dismissing their hostility and standing them down. Lucas' desk was more accurately the seats of the arena and the blue-eyed angel would motion for Ki to take advantage of them. Sitting himself, Lucas flipped back open the pages of the journal, his brow lowering as he mulled over his thoughts.
Ki would smirk as he looks at Lacus and the retort of the chocolates was a good one, Ki would give him that. being offor'd a place to sit Ki wouldn't deny the request from his friend. Setting Aside his Greatsword Ki would pull the chair back and very slowly Sit in it, So it doesn't break, But alas, the moment he exhaled the chair would break under him.
"...i think i will stand, if you don't mind."
Brushing the dirt off he would stare at Lacus eye's focused on what he had in mind, Some job? what could it be this time, All the foes were destroyed such a time a go.
"Something i'd be interested in? you better not forget the flowers this time."

As usual, Wyndom would make his presence outside of Heavens gates. He could only assume the ancient city had magical guards to prevent his entering inside of them via Ome's dimension, probably something to do with the runes. But anyhow, he would approach the Celestials at the gate and lower his hood. Upon recognition, and confirming that it really was Wyndom who had come back, they allowed him to enter the holy city.
Wyndom would pick his way through the courtyard and various buildings as inconspicuously as possible. He would return to the shadows and make his way towards the presence of Lucas. Heavens realm was definitely something to admire and appreciate, but Wyndom wouldn't like to live here, which is why he had left for so long. His absence of 5 years contained mostly training and growing accustomed to his new body and abilities. He had a few trips here and there, but overall nothing worth mentioning.
Entering the guild, Wyndom would approach the man at the desk with a friendly nod of his head, and further inquire to where Lucas was. Hearing he was out in the arena, a grin hidden by his face mask would tug at his lips - it sounded just like Lucas to be there. After receiving instructions, Wyndom exited the waiting area, and walked over to the arena. A large boot print was impressed upon the door, and it swung open easier than expected. Weak hinges...shame on Heaven. Joining the other fighters on the beaten ground, Wyndom got several wary looks, and a momentary uncomfortableness hung in the air. Had something just happened?? Ignoring it for now, Wyndom would walk all the way around the fighters, hugging the arena walls but keeping his guard up. He didn't want to be taken out by some foolhardy fighter.
Eventually he would be within eye shot of Lucas, and...was that Ki? Indeed...funny how these reunion things happened. He looked around for Raven, but failed to notice her if she was near by. He did notice a broken chair on the ground next to Lucas, though, and could only assume what had happened, with Ki standing there instead of sitting. Striding over with a lighter step to his walk, Wyndom noticed the fighters yet again eying him as he approached their leader....Tough crowd.
Once Lucas and Ki noticed him, Wyndom would stick his two fingers up to his forehead and give a little salute directed at Lucas, and then a head nod at Ki.
"Good to see you both!"

[Location: Ragnarok, Capital of Hell]
The Capital City of Hell, Ragnarok, had changed over the last five years. Kikyo's Castle had been destroyed by Oni all so he could turn Ragnarok into a city worth being part of. At the northernmost edge of the city laid the Mountains of Draupnir. Built into this mountain range was Oni's new Palace, aptly named Ukia Manor. As you head south-west from Ukia Manor you would travel through the military part of the town. Weapon, Armor, and Magical Accessory shops on either side of you, each competing with the other. These shops would continue on until you would find yourself at a building that would equal the size of Ukia Manor.
This was The Warriors Guild. It handled all type of missions that needed to be taken care of. From Scouting to Assassination and everything in between. You could even pay to spend the evening with the Succubi or Incubi if that's what you were in the mood for. The Guild was always filled with the sounds of screaming and roars since the Arena was in the back. Warriors would gather to test themselves and try to prove that they were worthy to join the forces of Hell. Of course this meant they had to impress only one person, and he wasn't easy to impress. Oni spent most of his time here in the Arena fighting aspiring warrior after aspiring warrior in the hopes of finding someone worthy of being more than cannon fodder in his army.
South-East from Ukia Manor was the Merchant part of town. This area had everything you could ever hope to find that wasn't Military based goods. This was the most bustling area of town, all manner of Unholy creatures gathered here buying and selling things that they need or don't. Food, clothing, jewelry, maps, and other things. At the easternmost edge of Ragnarok was the Merchants Guild. The Merchants Guild handled all the paperwork of the Merchant part of town. Merchants were the only ones to ever venture into the Merchants Guild since they were the only one's with business there.
Directly south of Ukia Manor was the residential district of Ragnarok. Here you would find the homes of the creatures that resided in Hell. This is also where you could find a stiff drink if you needed one with a few bars spread out throughout the residential district. The most notable bar would be Mjollnir. This bar was run by Kaldari Amor, an Energy Vampire that had connections to Oni himself. All credible information in Ragnarok passed through this bar, and all from Kal himself who seemed to have ears everywhere. Of course you still have the street-ears that hid in the darker corners selling information to the highest bidder, or the person that scared them the most. Although the information was never credible, it was cheaper than going through Kal for information. Most of the street-ears ended up dead after giving bad information to the wrong demonic entity.

[Location: Ragnarok, Warriors Guild Arena]
The sound of many different creatures screaming and roaring could be heard. Be it the fighters on the hard stone floor of the arena or the people in the stands watching. Of course of the fighters in the arena, one of them stood out over any other. Although he wasn't the arena champion he was far stronger than anyone else in the arena, Oni, The Leader of Hell. Oni made it his personal responsibility to test all fighters that wished to join the ranks of Hell's Army. Of course so far no one has even stood up to Oni's standards for anything other than basic infantry and it didn't seem as if this Vampire would be any different.
Oni stood in the center of the arena floor with his scythe at his side, his eyes focused on the vampire in front of him. "Welcome to Hell's Army. We are here because you think you are strong enough to be anything other than basic infantry. So here is what you must do to rise above your current rank." An evil grin would spread over Oni's face as he stared at the new recruit in front of him. "Make me move from this spot."
The Vamp would only scowl as Oni made a mockery of him like that. "You should take this more seriously my lord. For I will do far more than make you move." The vampire would charge Oni head on thinking that his speed would give him the only advantage he would need. Once he was within five feet of Oni, the vampire would leap into the air and open his mouth wide. He was aiming to jump onto Oni and sink his fangs into Oni's neck, of course he was expecting Oni to move out of the way and gain his promotion.
Ki would Turn as he sniffed once in the air and turn to see good ol Wyndom Ki from his small smirk to a grin would nod back at wyndom and attempt a high five. course every step he took the floor would give a slight crack.
Course the Warriors with their stare would not like what happens next before the high five Ki would shout, his voice booming, Easily Heard within the Arena.
"Show some Respect! Before i Turn you all into Chew Toys! Get stronger before you even attempt to Think you can Protect Lacus if some Mutt like me can throw y'all around!"
Ki's Glare was as sharp as always. Course Wyndom and Lacus wouldn't be effected at all, Altho Ki's voice was loud enough to finally do in the Poor Arena door knocking it off the already weak and finally broken hinges.

[Location: St. Anne, Warriors Guild]
"Hahaha, settle down, Ki. I appreciate your spirit but these people are not to be underestimated."
Lucas smiled, quietly apologizing to the Guild's warriors and trainers down below. Although deep down, Lucas would not hesitate to admit preferring Ki by his side in battle over most of the warriors at the Guild. It may have been five years since he had seen his friend but the fact was that Ki was still his close friend.
Speaking of close friends.
"Wyndom! Today's turning out to be rather eventful. Good to see you as well, friend. You've come at a perfect time...I was just about to discuss a rather important subject. I've offered Ki a job and now that you're here, Wyn, I'd like to extend the same offer to you. I know this is very sudden..."
Leaning forward to the both and crossing his legs, Lucas tapped his finger at the pages of the journal. He'd look up to Ki and Wyn and lower his voice as he did not need the whole Guild learning of the contents.
"A year ago I sent a man down to Earth to investigate some things. The Cruxis incident damaged or manipulated the faith of a lot of people. As you know, a large portion of Heaven and Hell's power stems from the faith of Earth's people. Unfortunately the way things work, this realm is at the mercy of Earth's people. That's how it's always been. So naturally I needed to reconstruct that bond the people had with Heaven. So I had Earth's history recorded by this man I had sent. I needed to know the status of Earth before I could begin anything."
Lucas flipped to the first page of the journal, pointing out the date.
"See, I've just learned of something unsettling. The year that had passed here, well one thousand years hand passed on Earth. Reading these entries this time warp had been going on for the past five years. So in total, five thousand years had passed. There was no way to know until now. But it's become apparent that the Cruxis are no longer involved with Earth's history. However something else has. The problem is, there has been no conclusive evidence to the Cruxis' disappearance. By the way Earth's history has progressed it's almost as if the Cruxis were forced to stand down or into hiding. I can't rest knowing that the Cruxis could still be around, however I fear that a new threat has spawned. So here's where I'm requesting your assistance."
Lucas snapped shut the journal, standing up to reach further up to his comrade's eye levels. His voice lowered further, almost to a whisper, his words now far more serious.
"I was going to take some people here from the Guild but I'll ask you two instead. I need a small team to search for the lost members of Cruxis. They could be dead or alive and we'll never know until we have bodies. Ki, Wyndom, what makes this dangerous is that someone or something powerful enough could have very well rid the Earth of Cruxis. It's very clear to me that the Earth has been liberated from Religion."
Lucas smiled, his eyes brightening up as he eased the small amount of tension he may have brought upon the conversation.
"I'm all for freedom but I am responsible for the well being of his realm and it's people. So of course I'll be overseeing the mission. So what do you say? You both will become official warriors of Heaven, Elite of the Elite. You'd be ranked as my personal Vanguard's."
Ki would Nod knowing how serious this was, He would look at wyndom and nod and then back to Light his eyes burning for battle. his fist would raise up and point to Lacus.
"Mission and Request Accepted"
Ki would Pick up razorda and Place it back on his back and would howl loudly as he crosses his arms, Was he summoning or waiting for something? no sooner then that Razor the Pet Dragon of Ki's would Crash thru the Arena door Scarying more of the Warriors within the Arena, As Ki drops on his Partner's Back like a Surf Board.
"Only Way To go Lacus you got them wings ready for me yet? i found a good enough pair here."
Ki and Razor would Fly out of the guild And wait for Wyndom outside. Hopefully Ki will have a good battle.

~:'þɹɐƃʎᴎ ɯðþµʎM':~
Chuckling himself at Ki's enthusiasm, Wyndom would receive the high 5, which left his hand stinging nicely. The ground around Wyndom would dent slightly, but Wyndom himself wouldn't budge, as he had time to prepare himself. Ki had certainly grown much stronger! Hopefully Wyndom had done the same...
Soon enough, the conversation turned onto a more serious note, as Lucas updated the comrades on Heavens current situation, and the shocking progression of time on earth.
"Hhmm."
This was a serious matter, and diving right into it might be necessary, but could very easily prove deadly. One thing that was very important to discuss was the speed time was going itself.
"Light...if time is still going that fast on earth, how are we supposed to cope? I figure for every day in Heaven, 2-3 YEARS go by on earth. While that gives Ki and I no time restrictions on our espionage, as we will likely return mere minutes from when we leave, I think the rupture in the flow of time might be more pressing?"
The more Wyndom thought about the situation, the worse it seemed to get. He worried that they might have something even bigger going on then just the person or persons Lucas mentioned who wiped out Cruxis! Perhaps this was one of those situations where you could only deal with one thing at a time. Wyndom was sure Lucas had already thought of that...perhaps he was just being overly pessimistic, but he would keep the thoughts in the back of his mind, and make a mental note to look into it himself. Wyndom didn't really like high status positions, nor did he particularly enjoy the whole chain of command, having to wait for permission to do this or that...but this was Lucas, things would work out, and it wasn't like he was going to hamper Wyndom unless he felt it necessary. For now though, he would attempt to assist Lucas in lightening up the mood.
"Vanguards, eh? And for Heavens leader to boot! I accept! Really though, I am honored, Light. I will gladly help you through this, as your Vanguard, but mostly as a friend."
[Ooc: Aww, corny ending! blaugh Anyway...peace ya'll, I'll see you when I see you.]

[Location: Ragnarok, Warrior's Guild Arena]
Walking up to the reception desk, Kain requested to do this Rite of Passage, if that's what you would call it, and was given directions to a part of the arena where he would have to wait until the current match was over. Kain followed the directions exactly - Avery following closely behind in his silent demeanor. Avery, though average height, seemed to tower over Kain who was a mere 5'7. He wore a mask at all times, and wore a heavy winter jacket with the hood always over his head. Needless to say, Kain didn't even know what he really looked like underneath the thing, but ever since Kain had gotten here he was probably the only friend he had.
Kain, on the other hand, wore a cloak much too big for him, but he had shortened it with a sloppy hem - as he couldn't pay any professional to do it for him. Perhaps this was how his life would change? An orphan, some kid off the streets, into a mighty warrior and finally live high on the hog! Or...he could die. Again? Come to think of it, could spirits die? Angels and Demons were something completely different, and he had yet to meet any fellow spirits. Regardless, he'd find out eventually if he lived a life of war. Kain scratched his cheek as he thought and watched the battle going on in the arena. He was next.
(Couldn't think of much. Figured short and sweet was for the best.)
