A cold when blew as the sun was slowly setting. The moon was starting to peek out as well as stars in the night sky. It was hard to see however, with all the bright lights of the streets and shops that seemed to never close. There were still people walking on the street, either just enjoying the sights or going into shops, each cuddled up in their jackets, trying to keep warm while enjoying the night.
Lilith was curled around her own black cloak, her dress being not enough to keep her warm. She should of definitely just gone home, but she wanted to spend some time outside, even if it meant being freezing cold. Plus, she had a desire to buy... Something. No idea what, exactly, but she wanted to buy something nice for herself. As she passed by a cafe, Lilith felt her stomach rumble and she blushed, aware if anyone else heard her. Instead of passing by like originally planned, she went inside the cafe and started to look at the menu.
"Let's see... Tea... Coffee... Oh! A nice hot mocha sounds nice!" Her stomach rumbled again as it reminded her that she needed food, not a drink. "Ugh... It's so much easier choosing a drink than food. Usually mocha's taste the same anywhere you go... But food..."
She pouted as she continued to look at the menu; more people were coming and she would let them go in front of her. Her stomach growled even louder, managing to even turn some heads with smiles. Self-conscious, she order her mocha and decided on an English muffin with sausage and egg. "Stupid stomach," she growled to herself under her breath. "You better not complain after this! I don't even know if this stuff is any good..."
Sitting down at an empty table, she hoped that no one heard her yelling at her stomach. It was something she did when she got hungry, but that was it. Lilith hoped that no one thought that she was mentally ill or something...

The day out in moonfall had been interesting to say the least. She had been sent out to collect supplies for the up coming advertisement day which would take place, right here in the bustling city. She had collected material for the costumes, coloured paper and stamps for the posters, baking supplies for Sidra and by the end of it, the city was coated in a beautiful syrup blanket from the setting sun. The chill of the wind caused Liza to shiver ever so slightly, without thinking the witchling had just rushed out with no time to grab her coat and now the approaching chill of the night was biting at her skin. "This is why you need a check list, Liza." She mumbled to herself, sighing gently. It wasn't unusual to find the girl talking to herself.
Cuddling her arms around her front, the shopping bags colliding together that were wrapped between her fingers, she studied for somewhere to take shelter and rest before heading back to the academy. There was only Sidra to worry where she was, so she wouldn't be in too much trouble if she stayed out a little later. She caught sight of a cloaked figure entering a cafe a short distance away and decided to follow in her stead as it was a reasonable cozy place to hide out away from the breeze.
Pushing her way awkwardly through the door, her bag snatched on the handle and dragged her back, she made a noise of protest before switching her gaze back and tugging. Her cheeks rising with a crimson array. 'DAMN BAG, trust you to embarrass me.' she pouted, walking backwards, unhooking the handle. She looked a head at a grumbling sound coming from the same figure she had followed in to the cafe. Others were also looking the poor girls way. Was she hungry?
'Mhmm, food sounds nice, actually.' She smiled, making her way to stand behind the witch with the ribbons in her hair. She listened to her order and watched as she moved away to a table after. The guy was then waiting on her order, reminding the witchling repeatedly; quickly snapping out of her trance, she gasped. "Yes, sorry! I would like a cappuccino and..." Her blue eyes studied the menu a moment as she fumbled her lips to one side in thought. No, she couldn't order the cake, witch how much her neighbour had been treating her to treats she would soon end up like a balloon but nothing else stood out in particular. "Soup of the day?" She made a smile at the boy, who took her money and then gave her a numbered ticket, explaining that the staff would bring it over once it was done.
With a hesitant nod, she looked around to see if there was any available seats but her eyes kept hovering over the witch who was sat alone. She made her way over, with a bright smile. "Excuse me! Is this seat taken?" She chuckled, tilting her head. She didn't think that the girl was strange for shouting at her stomach earlier, in fact, it was refreshing that she wasn't the only one with the self-scolding habit.

While cuddling up in her seat, Lilith was finally getting warmer after wandering around in the cold. She should definitely invest in some pairs of pants later... She never really understood why she preferred dresses so much. In the heat, sure, it kept her cool, but in the cold... Too cold for her! Looking at her ticket, she double checked the number and waited it to be called.
Lilith almost giggled as she sat down and looked over the Witchling that had just entered the cafe. Of course, she knew it was rude and didn't actually let anyone see or hear her, but she smiled, knowing that the girl got as much attention as she did by yelling at her stomach. It wasn't a particularly good thing to be known by, but hey, at least she wasn't the only 'odd' one in here. After the Witchling ordered, she approached Lilith, asking if she could sit. "Of course! Go ahead. I'm a little loner anyways!"
She giggled and brought her head closer to the girl. "I hope you're okay,", Lilith whispered. "If not, tell me where it hurts and I can see if I can help in some way!"
Leaning back against her chair again, she looked at the girl and held out her hand. "Nice to meet you, Miss. You can call me Lilith, or the girl that talks to her stomach, but... That's quite long for a nick--"
A bell on the counter rung out, and Lilith looked down at her ticket. It was her number! Without thinking of telling the girl 'be right back' or something, she put down her cloak and quickly weaved herself through the crowd to pick up her order as quickly as possible. Lilith did the same thing going back, seeming as though she wasn't there at all. Once she was back at the table, she face palmed. "Oh my goodness... Sorry for not saying something about getting my food and drink... That was horribly rude of me!"
She pouted as she looked down at her food, feeling horrible about what she did. Lilith decided that she would wait until the girl's food came, despite the loud protests from her stomach.

At the ok, Liza pulled back the chair and took a seat, dumping the various bags on the floor by her feet with a somewhat relieved sigh. They weren't that heavy, but after a day of walking around without much of a break the effort of carrying them all started to dawn on the girl. "Thank you." She laughed a little at the witches comment. "Daww, you can't be a loner! You're too pretty, I'm sure everyone wants to come sit with you really, they're probably just shy."
Which was probably true, the witch was very pretty, dressing in a sexy red dress meant it was impossible that she would go without attention, especially from the boys around here, for very long. She just took the opportunity at making a new friend, first! The witchling blinked, feeling breath on her cheek, her eyes took to the witch who was leaning closer to her. In wonder and curiosity she leaned closer at her whisper, only to be left sat there with a furious blush eying the woman in disbelief.
"Ah, t-thank you! I'm fine though, really! It was just a snag!" She waved her arms a little to reassure her and then nodded, happily as the girl introduced herself, leaning back in her chair. "Hehe it's nice to meet you Lilith! It's ok, you're not the only one with a habit of talking to themselves. I thought it was a general thing but apparently people think it's insane... Anyway, I'm L-" Before she even had time to finish her greeting, Lilith was off, out of her chair diving to the counter, leaving the witchling frozen in spot in utter disbelief.
Who was she!? She was more unpredictable than she was and that was saying something! Although, when the girl got back and apologized, she couldn't help but laugh. "No, no! That's ok, if I was that hungry I would have done the same thing." She waved her hand casually, offering her a warm smile.
"Don't wait on my account, eat right up! You'll feel so much better without your stomach growling at you." With a wink, her number was called, she collected it from the staff member who was weaving between people trying to get it to her, then took her seat at the table once more. Looking at the soup. It was watery, not very appealing. She should have just bought the cake. At least the coffee smelled delicious, which she grabbed and got right to drinking.
"It's Liza by the way." She added, finishing from where they left off.

Lilith blushed as Liza complimented her; it wasn't every day that she would hear that from a completely stranger. "Thank you, Liza, and it's very nice to meet you! I don't think I'm particularly shy... More so I've learned to ignore weird looks from people. That is, unless I've done something stupid." She let out another laugh.
"I can't help but wait until my table-mate has food first. It would be rude of me to enjoy myself!" Lilith finally looked at her new acquaintance properly after they both had their orders. The first thing that Lilith noticed was the gorgeous blue eyes that stood out against her light colored skin and hair. If Liza thought Lilith was pretty, Lilith was pretty sure that Liza could turn peoples' heads as well.
"I'm glad you're okay though," she managed to say before taking a sip of her cup of mocha. The taste was rich and the warmth of it was soothing Liliths' insides. "Mm... This coffee is delicious! How's what you ordered?" She looked at her English muffin sandwich and tried it. It was definitely not the best she's had. "Can't say the same about this sandwich though... I might just stick with the coffee!"
She smiled and looked at her again, taking another sip of coffee. "So what brings you here to Moonfall? It's such a cold night, I don't even know why I'm still here. Desire to shop! Oh how you suck sometimes..."
