Enoh Love Mac was feeling good about today. Nothing out of the ordinary happened; he didn't find silver seeds lying on the ground, nor did he win anything at all, he just...felt good about today. Which meant, at long last, it was rematch time. Yes, he had a gamer score to settle with a certain Dragon...and today seemed like a good day to do it. Shortly after his revelation he was at Jericho's door, just hoping the boil was home; it would defeat the entire purpose if he wasn't! Luckily Jericho did answer his door (HA HAH TODAY WAS DEFINITELY LOOKING UP) and Mac, who was all grins, jerked his thumb down the hallway, from the way he came. "I demand a rematch." Surely Jericho had nothing else to do today! Blade Kuroda There wasn't anything particularly special about that day and it seemed to be just like any other. One thing was for certain though, Jericho didn't expect Mac to be at his door demanding a rematch. For a moment or so he stared at the boy before chuckling and nodding along. The blank expression he had upon opening the door soon turned into a smirk. "Challenge accepted," the dragon grinned, "To the scarecade then? Or are we keeping this round to console and pc games?" Enoh Love The Reaper knew his challenge was accepted before it was announced; it was the smirk, that was the tell. They were both pretty competitive boils it seemed, which was good. It was healthy, no matter what anyone else said! Leaning to the side he peered into Jericho's room, then down the hall that would take them to the scarecade. "That depends." He drawled, stuffing his hands into his coat pockets. "Am I going to die of heat in there?" Jericho was a fire dragon, and there was lava, at least that's what he assumed it was. "Remember, I'm not a Dragon and my hyde's not that tough." Blade Kuroda At the mention of the heat, Jericho glanced back towards the lava pit, then grinned back at Mac. "Just don't wander too close to the pit. Otherwise, if Mal can take the heat, then so can you. Unless you're secretly made of ice or something," he said while eyeing the reaper a little critically as if trying to see if he was made of ice. "But I don't mind where we go for it," he added.

Enoh Love "Hmm..." Mac made a show of stroking his chin, apparently thinking very very hard on the subject...and then pat down his person. "Nope, not made of ice! Glad to know what hasn't changed." Chuckling, he shook his head. "Well, the Scarecade it out, I think you've got an in with the machines there." And while Jericho could have charmed his gaming consoles, well, that hasn't been proved yet. "Here's good. If I die I'll just...haunt you or something." He said cheerfully, meandering into the Dragon's room and taking a look around; it looked different than the last time he was there! Of course, that was a long time ago now. "What games do you have?" Blade Kuroda Chuckling at Mac's response, Jericho stepped back to let the Reaper in. Once they were both inside, he closed the door and headed on towards where his little gaming station was. There, he grabbed some game cases and laid them out on the ground for the other boy to see. "Hey, not my fault the machines like me, but let's see... we have Scario Kart, Street Frighter IV, Super Smash Brains Brawl, MoltenEye..." he listed, though there were a few others there that he hadn't mentioned. "Take your pick." Coming from around the treasure pile, Jericho's Castrophe, slowly made its way towards the two boys, curious of what was going on. It stared up at Mac intensely, not sure what to make of the Reaper. Enoh Love Following Jericho towards the gaming station, Mac took a look around; of course he spotted the consoles that he'd given to the Dragon, and though they had a new owner he hoped they remembered the person who actually gave them their new home. Hopefully, anyway. "I think it is your fault." Mac jested with a shake of his head, leaning over to look at the games that were laid out before them. All were good games, a couplr of them a little older at least (as far as he could tell), but great. He pondered his choices, and then shrugged. "How about we'll play them in that order, best two out of three as always?" Of course, this would only be their second game day, but 'as always' seemed to fit. "What's what?" He asked suddenly, spotting the creature slowly approach them, all while staring right at him. "Interestin' lookin thing~" Blade Kuroda "Sounds like a plan to me," Jericho grinned while stacking the disks so it'd be easier to grab them later. He went on and popped Scario Kart into the Eii Mac had given him, then handed the reaper a controller. Glancing back as the Catastrophe loomed closer, he waved it off to let it know that the reaper was no threat to the shinies. "That's just Rithtar, my Catastrophe," he explained, "He helps keep an eye over my treasure, especially when I'm not in the room." Nodding at this, he turned towards the screen and smirked once again. "Ready?"

Enoh Love "Oh. Sizing me up then, was he?" Mac's brow raised under his hat, watching as the Catastrophe toddled off after Jericho waved, finding that altogether incredibly amusing. After all, Mac was by no means a threat to an actual DRAGON. Sure he had magic, but he was incredibly underskilled; he was here for a reason, after all. The Reaper took a seat beside the dragon, hopefully out of spiteful range of those wings of his, and went through the beginning of the game. Before long, and almost shamefully quickly, the first round of three went to Jericho. Black eyes stared in dismay at the screen, but he refused to let it get to him right now. "IT'S FINE!" Mac called out, still grinning. "Just a warm up, I could still beat yur a**~" Rolling his shoulders, he cast a sideways glance at Jericho. "Round two, go!" Blade Kuroda "Yeah more or less," Jericho said while shooting a glance behind towards the wandering minipet again. He quickly turned his attention towards the game to get it started. He had a pretty damn good start and managed to keep up the momentum he had to keep ahead of Mac for the first race. Grinning, he chuckled at Mac's reaction. "Sure sure. Let's go!" he said as he started up the second race. It was a close one, but after taking one too many red skulls, he fell behind. The dragon wasn't quite able to catch up again after that. "Heh. Getting your game on finally?" he asked, "Well final round for Scario Kart. Go!" Enoh Love "I should bring one of the pups over, and see how he deals with that." Mac laughed, shaking his head. The little Pirate wannabe pup was an absolute magician when it came to getting in and out of trouble. The competitive side of the Reaper had him slowly start to lean forward the moment he realized he was getting ahead of the other boil, as though it would urge him forward in the game enough to KEEP the lead. "YES!" He hissed out, throwing a fist in the air; an action that was almost immediately taken back. "I MEAN! Woo I won~" He drawled in a more even tone, incase his outburst would jinx him. "Finally? Dude, now that you're not cheating we're on even ground." He joked with a laugh, shaking his head and settling in for the final round. Some lucky skull uses later, and Mac came out victorious. "HAH! Yeeeesssss I knew it!" He cheered for his first victory against Jericho; a real victory, not a smidgen of a mini game. "Next, then?" He suggested energetically, leaning his upper arms forward against his propped up knees. Blade Kuroda As Mac cheered upon his victory, Jericho narrowed his eyes while keeping a mental note to win the next round. Right now, Mac had the lead! he couldn't let this keep up. "Don't let it get to your head," he smirked while swapping the game to the next one in line... Street Frighter IV. Though he had to switch systems for it, the setup didn't take long at all. And before long, the first match was up and running. Focusing on the game, the dragon tried to anticipate what sorts of moves Mac was going to make so that he could try and counterattack. It seemed to work out because he ended up being the victor for the first round. Rather than saying anything yet, he just sort of gave the reaper a smug look.

Enoh Love "Tch, why not? I actually won a round, lemme have my spotlight, man." Mac beamed, incredibly proud to have his first actual win against the Dragon boil; he won a game, not just a point! It was awesome! Of course he was going to celebrate! He stayed patient while Jericho switched systems, and when the first round came, well... "Oh. That's why." Sighing, Mac slumped his hands and subsequently the controller against the ground between his feet. "Alright alright~" He waved a hand in dismissal of the smug look, starting the next round. He'd change tactics now, going from some semblance of knowing what he was doing to the more unpredictable route that came with mostly uncoordinated button mashing. When he took the win, Mac straightened his back and tossed that smug look right back at Jericho. Blade Kuroda Merely nodding as Mac realized why he shouldn't let the victory get to him, Jericho grinned as he fought hard to try and keep the upper hand, but the button mashing managed to beat him out. Shooting a somewhat sidewards glance at the reaper, he let out a small huff and got the final round for the game going. Now that he had a better idea of what the reaper was going to do, he did what he could to counter that. And it worked! So he managed to secure the victory for this game. "Alright, next time up," he said with a grin as he loaded up Super Smash Brains Brawl, another fighting game but it was rather different from Street Frighter. It took little to no time for him to set up the stage, as well as picking his favorite character. Keeping his focus on taking out Mac, he eventually managed to knock the other guy off the stage several times to win the first round. "Whew." Enoh Love Oh, that small huff was caught, and grinned at...but just for a moment. Soon enough Mac was trying very hard to not pout when he lost...yet again. While he was never a completely serious player he did like to play, and the competitive streak was, well, he couldn't resist. "We're even now, in total wins." He reminded Jericho, mildly proud of himself; if going by games, they technically both won once. At least there was that! The first round of the second game happened almost like clockwork; Mac lost while trying to figure it out or to get used to the game play again, but as it'd been happening all night he certainly came back in round two. With a near perfect victory. "Heh heh...I'm having deja-vu." He commented idly. If the turn-taking victories continued, well, he was feeling pretty good about this tie breaker match. Blade Kuroda "It sure seems that way," grinned Jericho before the second match started up. He wanted to get ahead of Mac in terms of wins. While he had managed to win the first round, he found himself losing in the second one. There were a few poor mistakes he had made and it seemed that the reaper got up to speed on how to play the game properly. He actually lost pretty badly that time around. It wasn't over yet, though! The dragon was pretty determined to not get another loss like that and in the end it worked out. He managed to pick up another victory, and thus securing another game win. "Whew! Close one," he commented. That last battle was a pretty damn close call. He had just managed to get the final blow before Mac could do that to him. "Alright, next up is MoltenEye" he said as he swapped the games, "Let's begin."

Enoh Love Mac was frowning. Like, really frowning. Jericho was once more in the lead and this was getting ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous. While he didn't like to consider himself a poor loser, there was something about this situation that just...well, being a sore loser couldn't be helped! "Very close." He commented with a sigh, leaning back to play. Shooters were not his forte and this one was no exception; why he agreed to play this game was beyond him, he was lkely just getting ahead of himself. It came as no surprise that the Dragon won the first round, and Mac didn't say anything more as they moved into the second one. Though, he was starting to plot about how to try and trip his opponent up; clearly playing by normal means was not working! Ugh, think Mac, think! There has to be something...! Ugh...Oh! Maybe... "What do you think about Lizzy?" The Reaper asked suddenly. Blade Kuroda After winning the first round, Jericho took in a breath before grinning at Mac. It was close, yes, but he managed to get some good headshots in which made him feel good. Once they were both ready again, he went on and started the second round. He was being careful, trying to find good locations for cover while also seeking out his opponent. "Eh? Lizzy?" the dragon repeated in confusion. He was a little distracted with the game so he didn't really answer just yet. It wasn't until the second round finished with his win that he turned towards the Reaper to really reply. "She's a pretty nice girl I think. Sometimes she's a little strange though," he said with a tilt of his head, "Why do you ask?" Enoh Love Mac lost. Of course he lost. His question didn't even phase the Dragon! So either he was really focused on winning, or he didn't think of Lizzy in the same way she apparently thought of him. Sighing again, he put down the controller and propped his chin under a hand, elbow on his knee. "Good game." He murmured nicely enough, frowning to himself while he drummed his fingers against his own cheek. He eyed his opponent for a moment, and then he chuckled. "You're telling me." She was an odd demon all around that one, but he shook his head and continued, a little too late to stop now. "So I take it you've never noticed, eh?" It was cryptic, but important nonetheless. Blade Kuroda "Good game indeed," Jericho grinned while setting down his controller and turning off the system in the meantime. With that taken care of, he turned back towards Mac and chuckled. Lizzy certainly had her quirks, but they weren't bad really. At the question though, he was a little lost. The dragon felt like something was missing from it because he didn't quite get what was being asked exactly. "Uh... I never noticed what?" he asked while blinking. He was trying to think of what it might be, but the reaper really didn't give him much to go off of there.

Enoh Love Mac shook his head with a tsking noise. "Oh, I'm under oath not to tell you." He explained casually, which wasn't really the case; she just wanted him to promise that he wouldn't, which he never did. The point was, he at least promised her before that he would try to keep it to himself. "So let me ask this instead, completely unrelated-" His tone suggested otherwise of course. -Just between us guys of course," Apparently that was an important stipulation? "Is there something goin' on between you and...Riley?" Oh, he was almost loathe to say that name. Was he still a little bitter? Yes. Yes he was. Blade Kuroda Jericho furrowed his brow at that. What, did Lizzy have some deep dark secret she's trying to keep under wraps? That didn't seem too likely. But he had to wonder what this was that kept Mac under oath. Furthermore, his next question had him kind of confused too. Perhaps the spider girl had something against Riley... but that didn't seem likely either. So while he was trying to figure this out, he was staring at the reaper for a bit. "Nothing romantic if that's what you're talking about," he replied, "But she is my rider so we've gotten pretty close over that. Not to mention she's the best friend I've ever had." Enoh Love Unfortunately for Jericho, Mac took the extended silence as a confirmation that there was something between the two of them, and he wasn't sure whether to grin knowingly at the apparent lie, or to frown because it was Riley. He settled for a mixture of both, which really ended up having his lips pressed into a hard line, making him look rather unimpressed more than anything. "I see~" He chimed thoughtfully, moving to climb to his feet, stretching his arms over his head and arching his back enough to hear his spine pop in a few places. "Well, for future reference, you're...relationship...with your rider frightens away other interested ghouls." Hopefully his distain for her didn't leak into his voice! But other than that, it was true. He hadn't outright told Jericho, which was what he promised Lizzy, but he didn't keep absolutely quiet about it, which was all he had really offered her from the start. "You know, just as a heads up." He repeated with a shrug. Blade Kuroda A bit of that disdain did leak. With that and the words themselves, Jericho couldn't help but frown. "I'm aware it might do that, even if we aren't in love with one another. However, the bond between Riley and I is a tight one and can't be broken really. Any girl who can't accept or understand this isn't the one for me," He said a little lowly before shaking his head to himself. The dragon didn't really expect Mac or many others to really get it. But the mindflayer was kind of a part of him now in a way.

Enoh Love Mac chuckled, giving a shrug. Okay, so maybe it wasn't that there was something romantic between them. He'd heard about Dragons and Riders but he never really paid attention to that particular piece of information. It might not have been romantic in the dating way, but the connection between the two was clearly still an intimate one. "well, Alright, just thought I'd ask. Good to know you're aware of it, I'd hate for this to make you one of those alone forever scarelings." A dismissive wave of his hand, he brushed the subject aside and gestured towards the consoles. "I was closer this time! Maybe next time, then?" He was determined to beat Jericho one day. He had to. Had. To.
Blade Kuroda Jericho stared at Mac for a little longer, before letting out a chuckle and nodding to the guy. "It was definitely closer this time," he grinned, "I'll have to be sure to step up my game next time around to keep up!" Laughing again, he stood up and stretched his limbs before looking towards the Reaper, "So I guess I'll see you around?" Enoh Love "I'm just working my way up to my great victory." Mac joked with a low chuckle, shaking his head. For shaaaaame Mac, for SHAME. Losing twice to the game Dragon! Yes. Twice. He wasn't counting individual games, that would just be embarassing. "Yeah man, I'll talk to you later. Bye~" Waving over his shoulder, Mac left the Monster Dorms and headed back to his own, trying to think up a new strategy.
