A refined snake, but most certainly haughty; she is elegant and graceful, a trait that can cause many to forget the strength she naturally possesses as a giant snake, and her training in the complexities of subterfuge and the unrestrained killing arts of the warrior. She is considered by many to be the epitome of Geisha form and skill (though not so much personality), and all are left in awe by her skill at pouring drinks. Very much an appearance-conscious girl at heart, she somehow manages to produce a compact with various kinds of make-up inside at whim, though any skilled ninja would tell you this is most likely a display of an unidentifiable summoning technique.
She possesses an ear-splitting laugh ('Ohohohoho!') which she often uses to announce her presence, accentuate an otherwise droll conversation or when she simply wishes to exude an air of dominating arrogance.
How a giant snake learns to talk and use jutsu is no mystery, after all such is a common occurrence for anyone who has experience with animal summoning. The real mystery is how Ichisumi managed to win 'the title of 'Ms. Kirigakure' two years in a row since she arrived at the village after the elders had asked for support from the ninja snakes.
Like most ninja snakes, she trained from birth in the land where the snake summons dwell, being taught everything this is to know about the serpentine arts of stealth, manipulation and death dealing. Exceptionally beautiful by snake standards (and by human standards it would appear) she was chosen as the perfect ambassador to Kirigakure, though some snakes may suggest that the head snakes simply got sick of hearing her laugh.
