Tahki had left her skellphone in the cafeteria again. She was sure she did at least thats where she remembered leaving it. Well the gryphon could hope right? Replacing such a contraption was no big deal but trying to find all her contacts, err , the few contacts she had was always a pain. Point blank, Tahki was some one that should never be trusted with a phone. Not that she ever used it much except to maybe play games on it.
Socializing, a ghouls Tahkis worst enemy.
So now the gryphon found her self crawling on the dirty cafeteria floor in search of a phone that could very well have been taken by this point of time. Still, Tahki crawled. No one else was here to see after all. Being on all fours felt more natural to Tahki any how. She was naturally a quad.

Petro had just finished one of his usual runs. It wasn't the first he had that day nor would it be his last but he was certainly in the mood for something to eat. He did need to recharge his energy and while he could just as easily make do with one of the bunnywunnys he'd caught, he was within the cafeteria's proximity. He figured, he might as well grab a quick bite there before heading to his next class. He was prepared to wait in line should there be one.
He wasn't, however, prepared to find someone crawling on the floor doing Jack-knows-what, let alone a ghoul. A familiar ghoul for that matter. Where had he seen that particular coloring before? Well, wherever it was, she looked like she might be in need of some help. The tikbalang got down on his knees and into a careful crawl until he was beside the ghoul, "Y' need any help there?" he asked.

Tahki hadn't noticed the boil that had entered the cafeteria at first. She was to fixed on finding her damn skellphone to really be paying attention to her surroundings. That was until she heard a voice beside her and literally jumped as if an air bag had gone off underneith her.
"EEEE!!" She squeaked at the boil. Cold sweat was starting to fall on her face and her golden eyes darted back and forth before she turned her head to see Pedro. Tahki knew this boil but she didn't really personally KNOW him. It had been a long while since the christmas trip.
"Uhhh..." She was now sitting on her knees facing him and adjusting her headphones out of nervous habbit. "Ummm....." Words. They weren't forming. They felt as if they had been lodged in the back of her throat never to see the light of day.

In any comedic situation, the poor ghoul's startled reaction would have been met with an equally startled cry from the monster boil. But as this was Petro, who did not like the idea of making any ghoul uncomfortable or worse upset, the only expression on his face was one of concern and apology. He opted to mirror her movement, raising himself up until he too was sitting his heels, brown eyes staring pointedly at her, while waiting for her to answer him.
Or maybe not.
"Hey, ain't we in the same group during the raid on Christmas Town?" he prompted, recognizing the headphones since she had been in her real form at the time. "Ain't seen y' around campus since I got enrolled," he offered her a friendly grin, his hands resting on his bare legs, shoulders squared back in a show of openness. "And uh, sorry, didn't mean to startle y'." He added as a hand of his rose to rub the back of his neck.

"N-no no no no no no its ummm.." What was with her over use of um? Tahki shly looked over to the side for some time before focusing her eyes back on the boil. "Christmas..... OH YEAH! " Tahki nodded now remembering the boil. He'd been on her team and been very helpful to everyone in their group.
"Oh. Im being very rude. My names Tahki.... Uhhh.. " She looked off again her brows striking a concerned expression. "Im actually... Uhhh.. looking for my skellphone... you wouldn't happen to have seen it would you?"

"Naw, 's my fault for not making enough noise to let y' know I was here," Petro insisted, "Ah, so that was y'! 'M Tro, can't right remember if I ever got to telling y' and the other Oblenas to call me that." His tone was cheerful as he forgot about his hunger. He was just in here for a snack and not a full-blown meal after all. Guess this just meant he'd be eating more of his bunnywunny stash than originally intended.
When she asked if he'd seen her skellphone, the horse boil had to shake his head, sadly admitting he hadn't. "What's it look like?" he asked, suddenly getting back down on all fours to search for the missing gadget. To him, that she'd even asked if he'd seen it was invitation enough for him to start helping her in her search.

Tahki felt bad for not remembering the boils name but was glad he offered it up so she didn't have to ask for it. She made a point to remember his name by repeating it in her head several times. Petro Petro Petro Petro
And the boil was down on his knees helping her before Tahki could even describe the contraption. It made her happy that some one cared but it also made a ping in her heart pull that she was troubling some one else with her own bothers.
"Uhhh well uhhhh.." Tahki inwardly flailed, "The -uh- the skellphones a newer model. Its gold like my headphones and has a key chain of... well.. ummm.. a ... uhhh..." Did she dare say she actually had a my little scare pony key chain? It was childish, Tahki knew, but she had kept it on her phone any way. "Its ... got a key keychain on it.." The gryphon opted not to describe the key chain after all.

Tahki needn't worry about troubling Petro. The horse boil took it upon himself to help any one in need, especially when they were ghouls. Not that he thought they weren't capable of doing things for themselves, really nothing could be further from the truth. If anything, it was an honor for him to be allowed to help a ghoul.
"Gold with a keychain, got it," Petro repeated, keeping a keen eye out for any such device. He never thought the cafeteria was so big before until now. Then again, he hardly spent time inside the building, preferring to eat outside. "When'd y' realize y' didn't have it?" he suddenly asked. It was quite possible some of the cleaning gnomes had gotten to it if some time had already passed. But if they did and if they wouldn't give Tahki her phone back, Tro wasn't above to introducing his fists to their faces.

The gryphon got down on all fours again and started to crawl on the ground keeping a keen eye out. She couldn't sit about and watch Petro do all the work that would have been very rude.
"Oh... I had it this morning and I was playing this game and then..." Uh oh. A passing look of horror came across the young gryphons face.
"OH-OH NOOO!!!!" She struck a pose similiar to a certain painting and a certain movie character struck, "I.. I THREW IT OUT WITH MY TRAY!!! Oh no no no no ," She'd have to actually ASK her friends for their numbers all over again. Worst yet, she'd have to email her parents and let them know so they could send her a new one. Tahki wilted on the floor and her arms spread out eagle style. Despair. Defeat. That was Tahki right now.

Tro got to his feet, gingerly walking up to Tahki until he was practically standing over her. His hand was outstretched to her, "We can ask the cleaning gnomes if they've already emptied the trash. Unless y' intend to buy a new one instead?" He considered that possibility. After all, the phone might have gotten damaged. "But y' can still probably clean the keychain up again, yeah?" He added with an encouraging grin.
He wasn't materialistic, but Tro knew how some people had sentimental values attached to things. Maybe the key chain she mentioned was one of them and thus, well, it would still be important she get at least that back, right?

Tahki nodded. Maybe a gnome had spared her poor phones life but as it was she didn't have time to go hunt one down right then. The gryphon had other matters to attend to like getting to class before it filled up. She'd have to continue her search later.
"Im.. thinking maybe after class I'll look for a gnome," Her worried look did not falter but only grew more firm as she looked at Petro. "I-Im sorry for being a bother. Thank you Petro." Tahki gave him a real smile.
