 "No, I DON'T think that's a good idea. Why on Earth would I think talking to them would be a good idea?!"Nema mumbled the words to herself as she peered out from her hiding spot. A herd had made their way past her little patch of grass, and seemed to be moving by at a quick pace. Lucky for her at least, soon she would be able to get back to being alone with her family and truly that's all she wanted. "No, they DON'T look friendly. Haven't we been over this before? All they do is tell me i'm weird.. and i'm NOT weird..."Angered by her own words, the female kicked her hoof into the dust, causing a cloud of dirt to circle around her face, "Now look what you've done!"

 Amberlee pranced down the path that had recently been trampled down by a passing herd. She didn't really know where she was going, nor did she care... she was just curious to see where the group of horses were going and really had nothing better to do. The mare held her head high as she went, the odd spiraling horn on her forehead catching the light and casting bright shards on the ground at her hooves.
Suddenly, she heard a voice. Her ears twitched and she looked around, wondering where it was coming from. She couldn't see Nema, so she adjusted her course to draw closer to the sound. Then it seemed to trail off for a moment, before she heard the stranger exclaim, "Now look what you've done!".
"Me? What did I do?" Amberlee asked, stopping so suddenly in the dust she stirred more of it up. "Uh-oh, I didn't know I was doing something wrong! I am so sorry."

Nema quickly jolted her attention towards the direction the voice had appeared from, and her expression quickly took on one of complete confusion. "You kicked up all that dust! And how the heck did you get way over there?!
Hurry up and get back here before someone hears me!"The panic was obvious in the Mare's voice, but it wasn't out of fear that this confused mare would be seen, simply because not a soul could see her but Nema. She was more worried about the ordeal of ridicule she'd endure should the herd hear her. Shaking her head in frustration at the other familiar colored mare, Nema looked both ways before quickly darting out of her hiding spot to lightly nudge her figment back into hiding. "Come on, they're going to see me! What on Earth are you thinking!"

"I walked over here," Amberlee stated flatly, confusion starting to creep into her brain. What exactly was going on with this strange mare? Still, the panic in the stranger's voice told her that this was serious, and she should probably take her seriously.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Amberlee apologized as Nema darted out to nudge her. "Whoops, I guess I should be quiet, right? Sorry..." Her voice dropped to a whisper as she hurried to get into hiding, taking big steps to try to keep the dust from floating up.
Amberlee settled into a good spot, her bright eyes flicking back and forth. She didn't see anything wrong, so she grew even more confused. "Umm, who might see you?"

Hunching low in the bushes that provided her hiding place, Nema glared accusingly at the other female. It was weird that one of her figments was so questionable to her behavior. Normally they just sorta went with the flow, and made her laugh. But this one... she seemed so serious!
"Who might see me?!" The anxiety in her whisper was high tense, and she was so fearful she'd be found out, but now she had a new worry - why were her family members questioning her actions? They'd never done it before, so why now?
THEY might see me, gosh you guys are acting weird today, what's wrong with you?"
The poor confused female still hadn't caught onto her rather familiar counterparts reality. And with a quick twist of her head she nodded in the direction of the herd.

Amberlee cringed a little at Nema's anxiety, and started shifting her weight nervously from hoof to hoof. For this poor mare to be so stressed out... There must be some terrible danger about! Amberlee watched her, eyes slightly widened with unexpressed fear and confusion.
"What will they DO to you if they catch you?" Amberlee asked, her voice starting out as barely a squeak. "Are they an evil herd? Should we run away?" She peered at the herd from behind the foliage and shuddered a little.
