Pregnant.
Sakura smiled a watery smile, a warm glow welling up within her. Finally she would be a mother, just like she'd always wanted. She was good at looking after foals, and she felt comfortable with them. They were easy to get along with, and she knew how to relate to them. Hide and seek and tag were among her favorite games, and she remembered their affinity for sweet berries. Being a mother she was ready for. But... it had it's downsides too. The main one being pregnancy.
Attempting to moisten her tongue, dried from worry as it was, the mare tried to work some saliva into her mouth. Before, she had always known she wanted foals. Being a mother... it was what she was born to do. But never had she factored into the equation the few months before they would be born. She shifted awkwardly from foot to foot, her bulging stomach swinging slightly.
Was she supposed to eat special things to help them grow? Would giving birth be painful? Was she supposed to exercise, or was lying down better? Millions of questions whirled through her mind that she had no answer to. Her own mother had died when she was little, so she had no one to turn to for help. Panic was gripping her again. She was happy but... she was also scared. What was she supposed to be doing right now?
