Demons and Angels have long been at war with each other, but now they are trying to work together.
A demon and an angel will marry each other and as long as they are together, the treaty will live.
But can a demon and an angel work together?
Or even learn to love each other?

Anastasia was woken up after a long ride in a caravan to the castle where she was to meet her fiance. anastasia didn't want to get married let alone with a Demon. She walked with her head held high but on the inside all she felt was sorrow. She was led to a room and her best friend Gale was left to wait outside the room. She hugged him quickly before she was left to sit and wait for her fiance. she walked around the room looking everything over trying to distinguish something about him. Her curls bounced as she walked or like glided through the room.

Shane watched the caravan with his fiance come up to his castle from one of the higher windows.
He wasn't looking forward to this. Duty first, that's how you train your troops, and that's how you will do this. He thought miserably to himself.
Shane walked into his room, disturbed to see an angel outside it, but he tried not to show it. After all he would be living with one of them from now on.
"Welcome to my humble abode." Shane said to the angel inside his room. He had been told that her name was Anastasia but he really didn't care.Shane's Outfit: The shirt in the pic and these.((Just wanted to see what it looked like all pretty. Next post will be normal))

Anastasia glanced him over once and turned her gaze to the window. "Thank you." she mumbled unhappily. She sighed. "Can we please get this over with I would like to say goodbye to my friend." she said kindly still not looking his way. "I'm Anastasia. Obviously I'm an angel. I'm six hundred and forty three years old. I like too many things to list and the one thing I dislike the most are demons. Not because of the whole natural hatred. I had a bad experience with one and have not liked any of the ones I've met since. You can try but I am not easily pleased with foolishness and unkind behaviour. I don't really care about you so I think we're done here. I'll have someone show me to my room." she told him honestly. Anastsia stood then and shook out her wings before she left as soon as she opened the door she found Gale's arms waiting for her. "Gale!" she cried running to him. She hugged him tightly. "Come with me I am not yet ready for you to leave. I wish I could go home but father says the treaty is more important to him than his own life and we all know how important his life is to everyone." she said with a laugh as they found someone to direct them to her room. when they got to her room she was crying. "Oh dearest, Gale. I will miss you. Please write to me. I will not forgive you if you don't." she said softly. Anastasia kissed his cheek. "Goodbye for now my friend. We will meet again in due time." she told him as he walked away. Anastasia closed the door to her room after Gale left and she began to unpack the little bit of things she had brought along with her.

Shane sighed in relief as she left the room. She was just so bright. It hurt his eyes. Calling up a minor demon, Shane sent her to Anastasia's room. He really could care less what she did, as long as she didnt try to leave. The demon was to help her adjust and if necessary, to watch her.
Shane wouldent even have done that much, but his father had bound him to make her at least reasonbly comfterable. And I cant even desighn those bright little wings of hers, Shane thought and went downstairs to check on dinner.

After her best friend left her she felt uterly alone. Anastasia paced the length of her room. she stopped to sit in a window seat. she looked out across the land and sighed. It was so beautiful. she watched the demons outside flying around. Her wings shook wantingto fly through the air but she knew if she went flying they would think she was leaving. Maybe in a few days she'd get to fly. Anastasia pulled her wings around her body like a blanket. She rested her head on her knees. She thought about the wedding. Her dress was being sent over in the morning along with the rest of her things. Her sister would come to be her maid of honour. Her sister was excited for her. she smiled at the thought of her family. "I just wish I could be with them and not here. I feel like the only light in the darkest place. Such a beautiful darkness but oh so scary. Oh I hope Gale comes to the wedding I'll need his support." she thought aloud. Anastasia looked up when she heard the demon moving around. "Are you still here?" she asked. "You should leave. I will fare well on my own thank you." she said kindly but with authority. She sighed remembering she has no authority until after the wedding. Anastasia looked out the window again just observing the people.

"Your wings wish to fly, no?" The lower demon asked Anastasia. Shane, far away in his room, gave the imp permission to let het fly as long as she had three demons with her at all times and they astayed clost enough to get to the castle in 10 seconds.

Anastasia looked at the demon. "Yes but what is the cost?" she asked untrustingly. She glared slightly at the demon. "I wish to be alone." she stated turning back to the window. She felt like a caged bird. Anastasia watched the world outside hungrily.

Shane walked into the room. "Dont fly away." He simply said. "The skies have been cleared, so fly however you like."
Then Shane walked out and three wispy demons took his place.
They bowed to Anastasia, feeling the presure form Shane to respect her.

Anastasia hissed. "I said I want to be alone. I will not fly with you. Goodbye." she said angrily. she turned her head back to the window wrapping her wings more tightly around herself. She closed her eyes listening waiting for them to leave her be.
