Hobbies: 
Foreign Language Studies:
Since visiting Italy at the age of 5, he already had learned English as a child, but is deeply interested in learning more languages, especially those found in the Mediterranean and the "Romance languages" because they have common root words and aren't so far apart. When he graduates Azure he will go on to DCU and hopefully learn more languages, having moved on from European languages to Asian languages etcetera. If he finishes his homework ahead of time or what he considers to be "too quickly" then he will crack open a language book. He hopes to practically apply his acquired skills when he travels around the world (a dream of his).

Gardening:
The Latifrons have a lovely terrace attached to their house and ever since he was young his grandmother grew spices, herbs, flowers, and even some vegetables native to Italy, as a reminder of her life-long home. It used to be that his helping was limited to filling up the watering cans and later to actually watering the plants. However, as he grew older he became more and more interested in the garden and actually 'competes' against his grandmother to grow the better plants. Most of the foods he grows are edible and are prepared by his mother for dinner.

Collecting:
Collects lil' bison things (I SAID I HAD TWEAKING TO DO)
With Capriolo meaning "deer", and a stag on the old family crest, Robb keeps a collection of deer memorabilia. These range from little plastic toys he had as a kid to postcards with photos of 8-point bucks, to his childhood stuffed animal "Deer" (he was 4 when he named it give him a break already). Most of his allowance growing up would go to deer toys and he has quite the substantial herd. Most of them are now boxed away, with his finer pieces on display (carvings, bookends, a small tapestry) but he often pulls this box out to admire his collection, feeling the broken antlers on a few from when he played too rough with them.


Virtues:
Modest:
Though Robb can do many things well and a few things very well, he is never one to boast or point out what he has done. When his parents ask him to do chores, he does them to the best of the ability but doesn't tell his parents as to show them off. He'll often do things that are unasked of him just because they need to be done or someone wanted it to be done, but does so anonymously. He doesn't need the recognition, it doesn't mean anything to him, and when people praise him for anything, be it his language skills or his garden, he becomes flustered, and with his garden or collection, will attribute the quality to either the individual pieces or plants themselves, rather than his acquiring skills or gardening prowess.

Practical:
Robb does what needs to be done, ideally before it needs to be done. He doesn't believe in 'miracle solutions' as illustrated by his lack of any fancy fertilizers or pest repellants in his garden. He also strives for simplicity, because it's usually what is most practical. His cellphone might be called "ancient", but he doesn't need 8mb of storage or to play games in whatever down time he has. He has a computer for computing, and studying to do in his free time.

While he's not a spendthrift, Ridere doesn't wantonly spend money, not even on his bison collection. If there's product 1 that does (a) or product 2 that does (a) plus bells and whistles for three easy payments of $19.99, then he'll buy product 1 without a second thought. Because of this, he's also very easy to please.

Thorough:
When Robb does his chores or homework or what have you, he is meticulous about it. His handwriting is surprisingly neat for a teenage boy (it's not perfect, though. what is he, a teenage girl?). He will opt for going to the library over using Wikipedia for research and homework. He's excellent for peer proof-reading purposes because he will read an essay time and time and time again to make sure he catches every misspelling, misuse of punctuation, grammatical error, etc.

His thoroughness is driven by his practicality, because if you don't do something right the first time, then you'll probably have to do it again, and that's an awfully big waste of time and effort.

Flaws:
Over Conservative
Robb is not one to freely share his opinion on things, so is often quiet and never gives input into something. He cringes at bawdy displays and obscene PDAs. If he'd been there for the kiss on V-J Day in Times Square, he would have probably gagged and called the police for sexual harassment. He feels that any displays of affection should be private. Were he to have a girlfriend, he wouldn't be cold, but in public the most he would do would be to hold hands. It's just not that he's a prude (he isn't when not in public) but he also has mostly conservative ideals and values in terms of politics and what have you.

Worrier:
Even though he read through his paper six times and had three different people check it for him, Robb will be worried and convinced that he's gotten a C on it until he gets it back. I think it hailed last night, are my plants okay?! He isn't much of an optimist so he tends to think the worst and worry too much. It's also made him a bit of a hypochondriac. I've been coughing for a day, it's probably the flu! Not only does he worry about himself, but he worries about his family and friends, his favorite sports team's chances in the finals, the state of the economy and the present job market. He'd like to know as few negative things as possible to limit what he worries about. Just found out a new animal is endangered? Don't tell Robb because he'll worry about it until they're taken off the list.
His worries aren't posed as questions, but more as facts that he dreads.

Common worries include: I'm sick. She doesn't like me. I'm going to fail. I'm going to die.

Not an abstract thinker
Propose a hypothetical question to Robb and it'll take him a while to figure it out. Now we're not talking Punnet squares or the likes of those. Equations, formulas, maths and sciences are fine. But real life situations are more difficult. "But you could've-!"'s are "but I didn't"'s and he can't imagine whatever alternate reality or consequences of whatever you're asking him of. He's not a very big-picture thinker, either, and chooses to work and think on a smaller scale, because that's what the big picture is composed of, right?
(While he knows and understands consequences to his actions, this is more of a difficulty of grasping a deviation from his normal self or reality. So if someone said "what if you swam the English channel?" he'd say "but I didn't and I won't" instead of "well I'd be famous!")
