Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to the first Annual TLM Pandy Awards! As a celebration of all our members, and to show our appriciation for you all, the Mods and I have put together an award show. We wanted to recognize a few outstanding members, and we also wanted you all to know that we couldn't be the great Guild we are without all of you here to support us, make polls, and generally be the best Pollwhores Gaia has ever seen!
But I digress. Some of you have seen our efforts in the past month, from when were collecting the illustrious TLM Pandys to the ninja-like polls that helped us decide, from Mod nominations, who would win in certain Categories. The member-decided categories were Biggest Lurker, Biggest Pollwhore, Most Helpful, Happiest Poster, Best Avatar, and Most Active. Categories the Mods decided on were Youngest Member, Best Banners, Most Gold Donated to the Guild, and the Most Total Posts in the Guild. And tonite, the Mods and I will announce the winners and pass out the coveted, precious, most cherished TLM Pandys to the lucky winners. So thank you, one and all, for being here today and let's get to the awards!

For the award for the Most Total Posts in the Guild, we have a couple of honorable mentions. When we were making this presentation we decided that each nominee could only win one Pandy and that made a couple categories suffer a little. So it is worth mentioning that TheTwistdBlakCat, though he won Best Avatar, actually has the most posts in the Guild at 6,451. Kell152, our happiest poster, was a close second with 5,850 posts in TLM. I love you both for being so active and wanted you to know that we all appriciate all the posting you do.
The Pandy for Most Total Posts in the Guild goes to another big big poster without whom we would not be as great a Guild as we are. With 4,302 posts, the winner is [spooky]!!

And finally, the moment you've all been waiting for, the presentation of the Pandy for the Biggest Pollwhore!
At the time of polling, our beloved TLM Assassin Pixxyevil was gone. He had taken a brief hiatus from TLM and so was not included in this event. He has since returned to the fold and I thought it worth mentioning that when the Mods and I were coming up with nominees for this award, the name Pixxyevil came up alot. So here's a categorie with another Honorable Mention. Pixxyevil, though you did not win the Pandy, you're certainly one of the biggest pollwhores around. Thanks for keeping us on our toes!
Because of her desire for a Devil Tail, the winner of the Pandy for Biggest Pollwhore has quite an incentive to whore the polls with an almost religious fervor. It's not easy to earn over 2 million gold and still be an active Moderator. It gives me great pleasure to announce that the award for Biggest Pollwhore goes to our own Lenxivy! Congradulations!

I'd like to say a few words in closing. These past few months have been kind of up and down in here. There has been talk of leaving TLM and leaving Gaia for good from a few members. There have been fights. And we haven't been a very active Guild because most of you are in School. But I have to say, no matter what has happened in the past few months, I am still proud to be a member of The Laundry Mat and I am still proud to be your Captain. I appriciate each and every one of you. It's nice to hear people say things like "This is a great Guild" and "Everyone's so nice in here!" That kind of thing lets me know that all the Moderators and I are doing a good job. We couldn't give a Pandy to everyone here, but if we could have we would have because you all deserve awards. We wouldn't be what we are without all of you. So thank you for belonging to our Guild and here's to a New Year full of possibilities!
Oh, and by the way....if the winners would like to make an acceptance speech, post a thread for it. More threads = more polls = happy pollwhores! xd

On behalf of the crew, I'd like to thank each and every one of you for making this guild one of the funnest places to be in all of Gaia. From the few people who were there when we first began, to the people who only joined last week - you are the people who have made this guild a success
The Pandy Awards were designed to be a fun event to celebrate our members. Because without you guys, where would we be? biggrin
So from me, Mew, and everyone else, THANK YOU!
