The sky was clear with the exception of a few white clouds scattered across its canvas and the sun was shining brightly. A gentle breeze chose to dance every now and then carrying with it the sweet perfumes of the surrounding flora and the dew of the rivers. There was no denying it. Today was one of those beautiful days, a day that would be viewed in all by most people but the man that walked about saw it as any other day. It has been a long time since he has seen the radiance the way others did and he doubted if he would ever see things in that view ever again. Life had changed him a great deal but then again life has a habit of doing just that and one has no control over such events. Today was a day of relaxation for him and so he wandered about aimlessly, looking for something to keep him busy as he was never one to really relax. In his eyes there was far too much that needed to be done. It was understandable when Verchiel inwardly groaned. He hated being so…lazy? No lazy wasn’t the word but he hated what he was being right now.

Then a sigh of relief left his lips when he saw his salvation in the form of Sera and Lorena. Perfect. This would give him something to do…it would give him something to study. Young Lorena’s social skills. He quickened his pace until he managed to catch up with them.
