[if any of you want their pups to go to the Sanctity pack say so now so that I can add you to the list of potential members.]
Yasuo paced in front of the small den that he had found to let Neid give birth in. He didn't want to be this close to his old pack territory, though almost fifty miles away from it wasn't really that close. Though his eldest son, Aether, could still track him from there. That made him nervous. What if he sent someone after him? The tan wolf shook his head. No, the pack broke up after he fled with his new mate and three new pups.
It wasn't too long after that when his half-sister, Hera, found them. She took Eris with her...no, she didn't take his only natural-hued daughter with her. Eris left with Hera. He didn't know where his other two daughters went to. He lost track of them after Eris left. Hopefully they would refind him again. He needed the strength to continue on away from the searching eyes of his eldest son if he was to survive for the rest of his life.
Hearing a yip, Yasuo calmed down a little bit. The danger had passed. Neid had finally finished giving birth. Slowly, he entered the den to find four bundles in front of Neid's belly. His heart dropped when he spotted only one natural-hued pup amongst them. That one would probably leave him when she got older. Neid looked up at him with innocent eyes and he shook his head. Smiling, he laid down in front of her, observing his new pups. Maybe now his other two daughters would come back to him.

The teal-pawed puppy pressed close against her mother, relishing the warmth of her siblings nearby. Just now, she was blissfully unaware of the details of her life: she didn't know how closely she resembled one of her elder sisters, nor the shameful details surrounding her parent's relationship, nor even that dwelling inside of her thoughts was a terrible rift of emotion.
Oh, she'd figure it all out soon enough, as she came to understand the world, to learn things, to find her place. Soon enough she'd learn about pain and love and all the joy and sorrow of life.
But right now, she knew only about warmth, and a full belly, and the proximity of her siblings.

The family should relish the moments before the natural girl earned sapience many weeks later. It would be probably one of the only times they would ever feel unconditional love coming from her.
After all, no-one was born bitter. That came with life experiences, something this newborn would not be familiar with for some time yet.
She did show that she was a bit of a whiner, though, squealing with her first breaths as she tumbled about blindly to find her mother's teats. This one was a fighter. She knew instinctively what she wanted and went for it, even if she couldn't open her eyes yet. Faith in the things that she knew were there, even if she had to take time to prove it.
Cerridwen might be proud.
[[ Cat'll probably join the pack when she's older, like her entry said~ ]]

The brightly coloured newborn pressed against the warm fur of his mother, nuzzling against her. At his sides he could feel the warmth and heartbeats of his litter mates and as he pressed against them they pressed back. Everything was so calm and quiet in the den right now, save for the occasional tussle and annoyed cries of the pups, but the world was so soft and hazy right now and so full of peace, he was completely content with everything.
He didn't know what colour anything was meant to be, or should be or if there was any significance to it at all. All he knew was he was here and everything was fine, he was safe, he was warm and he was well-fed.Adney rolled over and grunted lightly, his world was so small for now but soon there would be so much more....
