This rp is for ladies who want to be competed for or boys who want to compete for them. My two stallions love ladies and a good argument. All are welcome! Also if you want some laid back rp you can post here as well.

 Dark Ion was grazing peacefully in a large field. THe sun was warm and the grass was green and lush however he could hear a distinct pattern of hoof-beats echoing through the ground. It seemed that he was about to be interrupted. Big black hooves stopped inches from his nose. He didn't flinch at all because he knew to whom those black hooves belonged to. None other than his younger brother Dark Tide.

 Dark Tide knew that galloping up at his brother was not the way to scare him. But he had hoped for more than a flick of his brothers black ears. "Ion, have you seen any girls lately?" he asked. "Because I have looked high and low and have not seen any. Now I am exhausted and mareless." He stared at his grazing brother, waiting patiently. Darl ion seemed to take forever, rhythmically cropping grass and chewing slowly but determinedly. He had nearly grazed a patch all the way around Tide before he answered. Tide stood very still as he knew the only thing that could pull his brother from his food was in fact a mare.

 Opal appeared some distance away. She threw back her head shaking out her mane before starting to graze. She quietly munched on the grass flicking her tail about. It was a rather peaceful day. She watched the two males some distance away wondering what they were doing.

Dark Ion finally brought up his head. "Well, I dare you to go to the misty forest, I found a mare in there but good luck cracking that nut, she was less than welcoming." Dark Ion glanced around and spied a truly gorgeous multicolored, white mare mare a ways off. "Yes I think you should definitely got to the misty forest while I stay here and do absolutely nothing." Ion grinned.
"What?" Tide looked dumbfounded and stared at his brother, cocking his head. He followed Ion's bright blue eyes and saw the pretty mare. "Forest huh, nice try stud. See Ya!" he yelled delightedly and sped up the hill, slowing as he approached the pretty lady so as not to startle her off.
Dark Ion cantered after him.

Opal continued to munch contently on the grass. She brought up her head giving her mane another toss. "Can I help you with something?" She asked in a sweet sing song voice. "You certainly did rush up here." She gave him a charming smile.

*Drool* "Uh um Hi?" was Dark Ion's particularly intelligent reply.
Dark Tide elaborated, he was better at talking to mares of this ones beauty his brother tripped over his tongue if he was initially greeted pleasantly.
"Why yes ma'am you could tell me your name. I am Dark Tide and this is Dark Ion." he said. "Stop drooling Ion, or she will think you are slow." He whispered to his brother.
Dark Ion shook his head and cleared his thoughts.
" Yes ma'am your name must be as musical to the ears as your lovelyness is to the eyes." Dark Ion said poetically. See he could speak pretty once his head cleared.

Opal peered at the two males. "I see. So you rushed all the way up here just to ask my name?" She gave her tail a flick. "Seems a bit odd to rush for a girls name." She teased the two of them. "So what are you boys really after?" She purposely kept her name back, for she loved to tease.

Both stallions eyes crossed.
"Of course it is not odd for us to wish your name." said Dark Tide.
"No not at all, and we are only after your distinguished company." added Ion.
Tide settled down for a wait. This mare was obviously skilled at teasing stallions. Ion pawed the ground and accidentally bumped into Tide.
Tide bumped back, and soon the two were both shoving each other and trying not to seem to obvious about it in front of the lovely mare.

Opal watched the two then smirked. "Ohhh I see." She threw back her mane then walked away from the two towards the nearest stream. "You coming? I mean if you wish to learn my name you might want to." She smirked over her shoulder at the two before returning her site towards the river. She purposely swayed her tail from side to side as she walked. The bangles on her front hoof making a soft chiming sound as she walked.

Dark Tide's jaw dropped. And he glanced at his brother who looked no better.
They started trotting in tandem after Opal, tossing their heads and puffing themselves up at each other. The stallions made sure to stay together and not surround the mare, in case they made her feel crowded.

Opal slowly walked into the water. She purposely kicked some up into the air letting it fall back around her. She shook her mane and flicked around her tail before taking a deep drink from the stream. "So boys. How about we play a game." She said after her drink of the cool water. "How about you try to guess what my name is." She grinned at the two.

The two stallions were lightly splashed with cool stream water.
At her challenge they immediately started spouting good mare names.
"Clarisse? Allona? Mariposa? Silverlight? Serena?" Ion went first.
"Annabella? Sheba? Carly? Corruga? Nimba? Rainbow? Rhianna?" Tide tried.

Opal laughs at the two of them. "Nope and nope." She replies to the both. "Would you like a hint?" She batted her eyes at them. "Or would you like to keep trying on your own?" She shook her mane again grinning at the two.

"Hint please," they both said. Dark tide took a drink so he was prepared to spout out rapid fire names after the hint. Ion stayed still prepared to speak while his brothers mouth was still full of water.
