Yori was returning home after spending a wonderful time with Nola. She was great and perfect. He let out a soft sigh. He just wanted to be around her all the time. He felt a bit more confident in himself. He even went close enough to hear another's conversation. He stopped staying hidden in the shadows. His ears perked forward. Something about a star that granted couples a wish of a child. Well He wasn't quite a couple with Nola or was he. He didn't know much on being a couple. But he did want a child with Nola. He raced off to find this so called star. He made his wish then fell asleep under the star dreaming of Nola.

Yori awoke that morning and looked around. Had it worked he wondered. He got up and grazed a bit then took a drink from a nearby pond before heading him. Morning Glory greeted him with carrots and lots of rubs. "Hey there boy. You've never stayed out over night before! And you've been gone for days. Did you find yourself a lady friend?" She softly teased him. He followed her into the field of daisies where she braided up his mane and tail with the pretty flowers. "Alright you go run along I have some things to take care of." She patted his rump and sent him off.

It was dark by the time Yori returned home. He did not find Nola during the day. He felt a bit sad. He wanted to see her again. Just so he could bask in her warmth. He stumbled tiredly into the stable. The scent of something hit him hard as he reeled back. What was in his home? He thought to himself. He started sniffing around finding the source of the smell. It was small. A baby! He thought excitedly. His wish came true! A baby for him and Nola. He couldn't wait for morning light so he could see the baby. He settled down next to it protectively.

Yori reeled back in pain. It shocked him and kicked him. Tears started welling up in his eyes. "You are a mean baby! I wanted a nice baby." He wailed out. He was scared to show this to Nola. Maybe he was being punished for wanting a baby with Nola so soon. He tried to get up but his flank hurt from the kick. "Why would you kick me? I'm just trying to take care of you." He continued to wail out.

Yori cried more loudly. "Give me back my snuggie!" He got up backing up slowly, pain searing though his right flank. "Gimme it back! It's mine you have no right to have it!" He didn't like this thing in his home. He wanted it gone. Why was he being punished with such a mean creature to share his home with? Now he just wanted Nola, she wouldn't hurt him like this thing did.

Yori grabbed the plushie then backed out of the stable slowly. His flank was really hurting. He wasn't enjoying himself now, his flank hurt and that thing had run him out of his stable. He didn't want it to keep shocking him or kicking him. He slowly made his way towards the river. He settled down to sleep. He starred up at the sky, the star had long vanished. "Thanks a lot star. You didn't have to be mean you know!" He tried to sleep but the pain made him rather uncomfortable. He finally fell asleep right before sun rise.

Yori opened his eyes looking up at the brightly colored female. Fear showed in his eyes. Was she going to hurt him again? He started to cower. "P..p...please just leave me alone!" He stuttered out. He didn't like this soq that the star gifted him with. "I don't want you." He started crying. She was mean and terrible. He wanted to get away from her but his flank was even more sore then lastnight.

Yori got up, he still didn't want nothing to do with this mare. He grabbed his plush noticing the rip in the seam. He felt like crying even more. She ripped his snuggie, kicked him, shocked him some how and was over all just mean. He limped away not saying a word more. He didn't want to be near her. He wandered off to find Nola. He just wanted Nola now. Once he was far enough away from her, he started crying again. He wandered into the woods feeling miserable and his flank hurt on top of it.

Yori walked through the forest feeling miserable. Nearby he heard a howl. He perked up his ears wondering where that sound had come from. "H..H..Hello?" He stuttered out. "W..W..Who is there?"

A small wolf stepped out from between some bushes. He looked much like Yori himself in his coloring. The wolf did a small bow before him and smiled. "Finally found you!" The wolf gave him a large smile. "I've been looking forever for you. I'm Swiftfoot. And I'm here to guide you and be a friend."

Yori stared at Swiftfoot. "You look like me!" He exclaimed before getting nose to nose with the wolf. "I'm feeling miserable and could use a friend. But can you help me find Nola? I just want to see Nola."

Swiftfoot nodded his head. "Well then lets go find this Nola!" He trotted off with Yori slowly following behind him.
