Basic Information

The weapon is essentially an M72 LAW redesigned for multiple uses. It uses the standard 4 lb rocket, and is capable of piercing 20 cm/8 inches of steel plate, 600mm (2 feet) of reinforced concrete, or 1.8 meters (6 feet) of soil.

The weapon generates a somewhat larger blackbast, since the rounds are not self contained, and is also slightly heavier in order to be capable of withstanding the repeated uses, however it preforms relatively the same as the M72 law.

The weapon is based off of the M72A4 through M72A7 "Improved Law", which has a greater range and slightly better armor piercing capabilities. In addition, the weapon is capable of using multiple types of rounds, rather than being confined to one type, and is much versatile in that respect.

Being much heavier and beefier, the device allows for the use of multiple rounds of the M72, thus decreasing the over-all weight when in use when compared to carrying multiple rocket launchers, but most considerably the over-all size. The standard M72 LAW is 2.5 kg loaded with a 1.8 KG round, or is .7 kg, or approximately 1.5 pounds without the rocket. The Mk. 72 LAW is approximately 2.2 kilograms, or approximately 4.8 pounds unloaded. This is a result of the required increase in size to handle the increased pressure of multiple uses. The weapon is also made from flow formed cobalt chrome, which has a relatively high tolerance to both heat and friction.

Each rocket is roughly 1.8 kg (4 lb), and Length: 508 mm (20 in), while the rocket launcher is, while extended, less than 1 m (34.67 in), or 0.67 m (24.8 in) when collapsed.

The weapon is loaded from the front and is stored in the tubular design of the mechanism. The weapon can fire 3 rounds in 18 seconds, or sustain 1 round every 12 seconds. For continuous fire over extremely long periods of time, 1 round every 20 seconds is preferable, if not 1 round a minute.
